But why waste your time because of someone when you can have them sit a turn while you play? Also, DDoS’s are rare.

We’re talking queuing time, match-ready time, I’m already wasting 5-10 minutes and I may have my match ruined by a leecher.

I can’t always play with a full party, that’s a really poor excuse.

I got really tired of reporting leechers and people with bad behaviour.

All I do is play PvP. Both my party and I started seeing people talking by themselves. That’s because our block list started to be really big now. But the thing is… nothing is happening.

We see the same people play PvP over and over.
We still see leechers that do nothing because the enemy team is 100 pts over us.

Now we’re going to have Leagues and things will get worse, especially in the higher leagues. What will we do then?

While we’re at it, could we also have the matchmaking split people by their default language? I’ve had numerous matches with people who speak no or barely speak English even though they’re playing a game, on the internet and it’s 2015. English is my second language, not my first, but I can see its importance especially in games where communication is key.

Hats must come back!

This was one of my favorite things to do with the costumes in Guild Wars 1 but now I feel like I am forced to like both parts instead of just one.

I would buy even the other costumes that I don’t have right now if I could simply wear them as I want to: Armor + Hat, Costume + Helmet.

As a frequent gem purchaser, maybe 10-20 dollars every paycheck, this change will keep my money in my wallet. Never buying gems again as long as this system is in place. Very distasteful ANet. You’ve lost yet another customer with your unnecessary changes and horrible decision making. I know a cash grab when I see one. Sad to see such a revolutionary and innovative videogame slowly being ruined due to poor management. You’re bleeding yourselves out….

I completely concur… I honestly wished I’d noticed this change before I picked up the new outfit. And I’m just about the same in habit, approximately $10-$20 per paycheck. So that’s now three of their TP-whales they’re losing until this system reverts back to old form. Do I hear more? This needs to backfire so hard.

I am the leader of an international guild and because our current server does not satisfy our needs, we’re taking into consideration a server change.

Our main problem is that we do not have enough people that play during US hours.

The guild had more than 200 active mercenaries who traveled Tyria to seek Harder adventures, Titles and conquer Elite Areas. Their Hall of Monuments are here to continue their story.

Short history of present day Elite Mercenaries

Marius Klouser, a librarian from Kryta, decides to seek his ancestry and finds out he’s the descendant of Markus Clouser of Tyria. From old dusty books he finds the names of Sir Kevin, Eddo of Droknar, Edward the Mighty. In several weeks he finds all their descendants and asked them if they would like to fight for Tyria like ancestors once did. Even though all four were part of different guilds at that time, they joined forces to resurrect the Elite Mercenaries. Thus [EM] was born.

The mercenaries return to Tyria after a 250 year absence, endure hours of training and planning, getting ready to fight the Elder Dragons.

What is [EM]?

The Elite Mercenaries [EM] is an international guild focused on Title Hunting, Achievements, Lore, just as the previous GW1 guild with the addition of Structured PvP and WvW. We are looking for players who can join our guild and have fun while doing the hardest tasks GW2 has to offer. We have players online around the clock so you can join at any time of the day or night and still find people to play with.

We offer various communication options, beside our forums such as Mumble, TeamSpeak, C3 and Steam but we don’t require our members to use them and they won’t be excluded from guild events if they chose not to use them. Not even in the hardest areas where some guilds require voice chat.

We will have various guild events, ranging from doing in-game content to special days dedicated to a particular zone of GW2 or just parties and games. Don’t worry, everything is already planned

We are very interested in what our members think and we believe good communication is the key to success. We have areas on our forums dedicated to guild and website suggestions. You aren’t just a number for our roster count. You count!
