Greetings, I have 30,712 achievement points currently. I have used GW2 efficiency to determine that there are officially 231 achievement points left in the entire base game for me to get. I had missed 105 historical achievements that I can no longer get as they were retired. So, the bottom line is, with this cap level there are roughly 31K achievements that would could have ever even accomplished. We are 8K short of any ability to move to the coveted achievement based back piece. If the goal is to have a player do everything in the game I’m good with that. Done it. Increase the daily cap to 25K to allow players to move to it without waiting for new content. I for one can tell you that once I’ve finished these last 231. Why the control? If a player wants to have AP based play why can’t we have that. Even at the rate of daily AP it will take me 2 years to get to the back. I’m ok with that. Give me back the daily AP. Thanks

Mindless And Generic Identity [MAGI] is a large guild with a small guild feel. We are a multi server guild. We are a tight-knit guild that prioritizes our friendly community over anything else. We won’t belittle or lecture you for playing the profession that you prefer to play in the way (with the build) that you prefer to play.
We’re based on Northern Shiverpeaks server with a playerbase that includes members from every server. Our members have a wide range of interests so we can enjoy every aspect of the game. You’ll catch us running dungeons, fractals, raids, and WvW, PvP and World Events, and missions on a regular basis. Whenever there’s a new update, you can find groups of guildies willing to run through that update with you. We call out achievements and support each other to get them. We really do it all. We have a fully upgraded guild hall complete with top tier decorations!
What We Avoid
Generally speaking, we’d hope that you have the same values as our guildies. We are either helpers, or learners, or people just wanting to represent a guild to share the costs/benefits of our Guild Hall as a matter of kind of a co-op and sharing all of the benefits that hall has to offer us. Some of our members really like just running around on their own, but want some interaction some of the time. We play the game because it’s fun and because we like a challenge. If that means we don’t always earn maximum rewards, then so be it. But we sure have fun doing it. We don’t tolerate harassment and belittling. Our guild chat and TS are family friendly. No filters needed here! Your kids can play safely with you in our environment.
Organized Activity
We run guild missions at least two nights a week (Typically Monday & Saturdays after reset)
We also run an organized Tequatl map on Sparkfly Fen the first spawn at/after reset every day
Our Goals
We have a fully upgraded guild hall with ample stored favor and banners and have been active since the game came out. We have all of the buffs/discounts/gathering nodes available via our fully upgraded guild hall. We like to maintain a membership that supports having 30-50 members on in the evening and 20 plus through out the day. If you want to do something, it’s nice to be able to shout out and get a little help.
We will never ask you for anything other than your representation to be a part of MAGI. No taxes or dues or any requirements to be on TeamSpeak or play a certain number of hours in a week or complete any training. Seriously we are play your way, represent, and be friendly. That’s it.
Representation
We do require representation. We want to see our members and party up out if the world. You don’t have to take a party invitation when it’s offered, but it’s a part of our community to offer to party up. In reality, not representing completely defeats the purpose of being in [MAGI] and generally demonstrates that your priorities aren’t in line with ours and we don’t have many. It isn’t helpful taking a space in the guild but not available really to be a part of it. We are pretty relaxed and don’t make you do anything with us. We will encourage everyone to join us in group stuff that we do, but you don’t have to. Missions pay you, but they also keep favor up for the guild, that favor keeps your banners coming. If you can’t contribute anything else, helping us on those is so appreciated. You are not required to represent when you are in your personal guild storage. You may rep but it is not required when you are on a server other than NSP/SF in a WvW EB or Borderland. We do require it at all other times.
We do have TeamSpeak, access to server world events and a great community relationship to other well established guilds.
Is your guild disbanding, but you want to stay together?
MAGI can accept entire guilds of up to 100 members. Friendships are alive in our group. It gives you a chance to keep the friends you have from previous guilds and make new ones! MAGI is currently comprised of about 28 previously active guilds and independent roamers who decided to keep their personal resources and have an insta-complete guild hall and join an already established guild they know will be here 5 years from now.

It’s interesting to hear that people saw chests on a personal level. I played on a reward winning team and didn’t see any chest at all nor did any one playing on the team.
Considering the description of the reward “Guild Challenger Decoration token, coin, and items to help restore your guild arena” I expected the guild leader to have to pick that up for the guild that team represented. I looked everywhere at the mists vendors and found nothing. I was thinking there would be one reward available for each reward ranked team the guild had. So if a guild had 2 copper teams, and a bronze team, they would end up with 3 trophies and 3 sets of mats and stuff to apply to the guild hall. I also went to check the treasury, the guild bank to see if it was deposited there. I had every guild leader sign in to see if it was mailed in game to a single guild leader.
I’m glad to have found this post. I’ve been everywhere in the game searching for the source. We have just one more upgrade that will take pvp potions so we were holding that back to use this reward. Considering it looks individual, we can just go ahead and move that. Thanks for the post.

3. Server: Please include a column for server in the guild pane. Multi-server guild members like to WvW and it will help them to find new members in a large guild to include in their parties.
4. Placeables: This area in the guild pane needs to be separated to the categories it is comprised of in the rank permissions. I want to allow a brand new member to the guild to pursue scribe crafting if they want and allow use of decorations (placeable) to them for advancing crafting, but I want to allow use of consumables (placeables) to higher ranked guild members only and not to a brand new member just joining. The 4 categories of Storage need to be separated for the purposes of assigning permissions to rank.
5. I want access to view my bank/collection remotely much like the TP. Even if I can’t interact with it, I can at least see what I have so I can place a remote order at the TP with the knowledge of how much of something I already have.
6. LFG: Make a category for Raids. Raids are not open world. They are close group like dungeons and fractals and should have a category like those activities. It will reduce the clutter for those who really are attempting to fill maps successfully for open world events.
7. Add 5 more blank ranks for me to use. With the additions of Decorator and Arena Decorator and a couple of other permissions there are expanding roles within the guild, but there were no additions of Rank Slots to support those additional Roles. I would like to see at least 5 more added to the 10 that already exist.
8. Guild Hall Arena: The Arena gives the impression it is pvp based considering all of the pvp mats required to advance it, but, it’s not….it’s PvE. Considering all of those pvp items needed consider a toggle to allow players to use the arena in pvp mode using their pvp build.
9. THIS IS A BIG ONE!! 400 Level Scribe Creations should allow interaction by any guild member. Some examples: Winter’s Day Trees should each be gatherable for a gift during the time the festival is active….or all year for that matter if we want to keep them out somewhere. The globe (should spins and shine and be gorgeous for the Gift of Exploration I put into that on top of other stuff) should be interactive with any repping guildie with a list of wp, one per each world map, where they can go to that wp on interacting with the globe (sort of like the portal to the cities). The cornstalks should have candy corn gatherable. The snowmakers should allow gathering of snowflakes. If the guild is willing to produce the mats to make these very expensive items I’d like to see the items give back…slowly. It doesn’t have to be all of the 400, but indicating in the description on the recipe what is retrievable would be great. The deed is done as far as the extravagant cost…many have already suffered it and trudged forward. Adding code to those items now would be a way of giving back….to even that score to the value vs cost on some level.
10. Scribe Reward Track in PvP: Scribe is by far the largest expense where there is little to no personal gain. It’s super fun to make the decorations. I’d like to see a Scribe reward track in PvP that would drop scribe crafting items and resonating slivers, shards etc. with a larger reward at the end of the track to include a list of choices of partially made items. A scribe cannot exist on the resonating slivers they make alone in missions. Considering that is the only way to get them a balance of where they are available would be appreciated.
11. Another big one!!!! Guild Buffs available at the Tavern in the guild hall. Historically, my guild ran 3 buffs ALL THE TIME!!! We ran magic find and gathering 24/7/365 and rotated the 3rd one by day of the week. Guildies waited to craft knowing the crafting bonus would run on a Wednesday. I LOVE that guildies can now choose their buff based on what they are doing. I dislike that they are now short changed from what we were doing prior to the guild hall.. They can now only run one buff when they have been used to 3 for the last 3 years.
12. Shimmering and Tenebrous Ore are crafting materials. They should be in the collection and not taking space in my bank
13. Bank Slot Expansion: Considering the number of items I can’t put in my collection including but not limited to organs from SW, trophies that need to me held for the next part of a collection, currencies that aren’t in the currency pane and addition of tonics and so on, as a player with years in the game, I need a bigger storage. nuf said
14. Permanent Bank, TP, Merchant need to be made account bound vs movable from toon to toon. If you need to come up with something else that I can buy in order to upgrade that Permant item to account bound great, but it would be nice to have that opportunity.
15. Machette/ Crowbars/ Exalted Keys/ and Chak Acid are "keys. I want the opportunity to earn or buy a “key chain” where I can store all of my “keys”. It might be another pane in the inventory where you can toggle inventory, currency and then Keys. Anything used to gain access to a chest/pod/box/or to open anything for reward would be in this list.
16. My greatest wish of all wishes!! Somewhere to post each improvement request/idea that is not a forum where they get lost with time. It would look like the place in game that is the bug report. It would give you a category and sub-category and let you describe the improvement. This is not reporting a bug. That is something that doesn’t work. This is requesting something that already exists in the game to work differently or better, but it can be managed just like the bugs reports are and could be linked to the player. If the idea is used a player could earn stuff maybe?

Correction to my post: I misrepresented what I wanted there
15.Machette/ Crowbars/ Exalted Keys/ and Chak Acid are currency keys as are lost bandit chest keys and the hundred other keys in the game that open chest. Give me or sell me a Keychain too hook onto my wallet for all of the Key/keylike items in the game. These go all the way back to the keys to open the caves in dredgehaut cliffs.

I would really like to be able to do something fun and constructive with the extra ascended rings I’ve acquired. I’d like to suggest getting the 500 level Jeweler rolling with a learned skill. “Old Jewelry Restoration”. Take your old unwanted jewelry (rings, accessories, amulets) and make them new again.
So, basically, my Jeweler can learn to break apart old ascended trinkets for materials and can then reuse the materials to make desired ascended items. An ascended ring I don’t want can become an Amulet that I do want.

MAGI leads chest trains we call “Looter Scoopers” in Silverwastes every other week with full magic find buffs provided.

We are a fully upgraded guild with ample stored influence and merits and have been active since the game came out. We run magic find guild buff all the time along with two other buffs 24/7. We run all the buffs when we are celebrating and we make stuff up to support that.

In reality, not representing completely defeats the purpose of being in [MAGI] and generally demonstrates that your priorities aren’t in line with ours and we don’t have many. We are pretty relaxed and don’t make you do anything with us. We will encourage everyone to join us in group stuff that we do, but you don’t have to.
We do have TeamSpeak, access to server world events and a great community relationship to other well established guilds.

I agree! I want in game tools to to assist me to support my guild. Here is my list:
1. Massive mail sending – Add this as an option on ranks – Include all guild/or by rank so I can send to everyone, or just to my officers – while your at it, increase the character allowance in the mail system.
2. Last log-in Date Column on Guild Roster
3. Setting the Leader can select for auto kick from guild based on last login (3,6,9 months)
4. On the guild page, give me an icon on the left nav called “Events/Missions” when the page opens it is nothing more than a calendar so member with appropriate ranks (another option to apply to a rank) can schedule various runs or missions or social events for the guild.
5. Double the character size of the daily note.
