I’ve played WAY less than 400 hours & use no magic find & have found loads of exotics off Champs, Vets & regs (I believe). The other day I got 2 exotics for a map completion. The drop rate could be increased for chests, but it’s not a big deal for me.
Not sure why you can’t seem to find any.
for a map completion ? im talking about pure open world drops
Chests ARNT DROPS.
I never said i can’t find any exotics, all my 3 lvl 80s have full exotics and ive got many from dungeon tokens and wvw tokens.
Please read my post before commenting.
I’ve got exotics from things other then drops people.
And i dont like magic find, ive never used it and never will, it shouldn’t be required.
1. I stated I’ve gotten “loads of exotics” (more like a handful but hey they’re “exotic”) from drops without magic find & without playing 400+ hours. That relevant & helpful information.
2. I never said chests were drops. I was stating the drop rates were fine for enemies but if anything the exotic/rare find for chests could be increased.
3. My map completion comment could maybe be considered irrelevant but I found it exciting. Maybe my hands should be cut off?
Good luck with your exotics though. Maybe you can buy the one I looted off a drop yesterday? It’s on the TP.

“I think that the game is…” AWESOME.
Personally, I’m glad there are WP costs. If there were no cost for using the WPs people would just bounce around as fast as possible instead of traversing & experiencing the maps. This would make the zones feel even less full. You have to apply some restrictions to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere & “force” people to do things the fun way rather than the fast way.
Adding mounts is a much better alternative to removing WP costs IMO. I more than make up my WP costs (with profit of course) by selling the loot & resources I gather so I don’t really understand the complaint in the first place.

I’ve looked all over for this armor set, I mainly just want the “helmet”. Can anyone tell me where to get it & what classes can equip it? Thanks!
I’m having a similar problem. I can browse what is for sale & make purchases but the TP won’t access my inventory & I am subsequently unable to sell anything.
Helmets are for cowards anyway & block the flow of fresh mead. In all seriousness I’m not really a fan of any of the helmets, my mug is too handsome to cover up.
I just want an eye patch, a snow leopard took my Norn’s oculus. Plus an eye patch would increase my awesomeness +5.
I always go back in forth on bosses. I’ll do as much damage as I can with my greatsword, then when I start hurting I’ll pull back and launch my arrow AOEs. By then I’m healed & my skills have gone through their cooldown so I get back in & repeat.

The “deleveling system” is one of the best features of GW2 in my opinion. Here are the pros:
-I get to play with my friends no matter what. If they’re above me they can still join me & get XP & vice versa if I’m above them.
-The whole map is always playable & relevant. I probably wouldn’t explore these amazing areas without the deleveling system.
-It keeps higher level players from clearing areas & encourages team work, especially on the champions & dynamic events.
Whatever cons you can think of are heavily outweighed by the pros.
I would say that I wish the system would leave you 1-2 levels above the area (maybe), so you did feel a little more superiority but you do still have your skills, gear & trait lines to your advantage.
