Hi rozcinana.
Our guild (Imaginary Combat [MMA]) fits your desired qualities pretty nicely. We aren’t too big, and we have a broad spectrum of players. Some of our players like max level fractals, others are working towards their first lvl 80 character. We focus mostly on PvE stuff, with a few groups running dungeons or fractals every night, and grouping up for world bosses, living story, etc.
We have a teamspeak server where we chat, and it’s a great, friendly environment. We look out for our fellow guildies and help each other out with whatever content in the game people are looking to complete.
Our only requirements are the obvious things like being respectful of guildmates and such, and 100% representation (unless you’re PvP’ing or something). We’re on the Henge of Denravi server, but it doesn’t matter anymore for anything except WvW, and we have players across several servers.
If you’re interested, send me a whisper or mail in game – I’m on most nights, but if I don’t respond the day you send it, I will within a day or two.
Cheers!
Hey Mystogan,
If you’re still looking for a guild, our guild (Imaginary Combat [MMA]) is recruiting. We are based on HoD but have several people on FA. We focus on PvE (dungeons, fractals, world bosses, guild missions, living story, etc.) but most of us hop into WvW now and then, and we have a couple sPvP players.
We have a teamspeak and require 100% rep (minus wvw / pvp stuff). Here’s a link to one of our guild recruitment forum posts for other details if you’re interested:
Feel free to message me in game (whisper, or mail if I’m offline) or any of the folks mentioned in the above forum post.
Cheers!
Hey Rauderi,
Our guild (Imaginary Combat [MMA]) is pretty casual, fun, and we like to run the content you’re interested in.
We have a TeamSpeak server and a website (mmagw2.com). Send me a whisper or mail in game if you’d like to chat about our guild. Here’s a link to our guild recruitment forum post:

If I’m not online, there are others listed there you could chat with.
Cheers
Hi AxleSauce. Our guild is on HoD and I think meets all your criteria. We’re friendly, on TeamSpeak regularly, and we like to run dungeons, world bosses, and occassional WvW. We have a guild recruitment forum post if you’d like to learn more:

If I’m on Anvil Rock, is that a problem?
Release Notes:
“Dungeon General
Adjusted the drop rates for ascended weapon and armor boxes in higher-level fractals; drop rates now scale better with each fractal level."
Looks like they fixed it – post your research!
Server: Anvil Rock
Location: Malchor’s Leap
Part of the Map: Very southern edge, near the middle
Skill point right next to a POI (Bayt Fallahin)
The orrian bow that you’re supposed to challenge for the skill point is not there. Attached is a screen shot confirming
I had this issue for one story quest on Monday night with my friend doing the story quest in (I believe) Timberline falls where you have to rescue the 2 research teams with Trahearne, I think it’s in the mid 60’s. Then last night I couldn’t do any of my fiancee’s story quests either, no prompt to join her. We were in the same map, neither in overflow, in a party – we were literally standing beside each other and she just disappeared into her story quest without prompting me. It was the same as when the game launched and you couldn’t do instances together for a while. Is it a load issue?
I found I could walk around behind him pretty easily when there were wells on the ground and just smite the condition if I didn’t move fast enough. Melee was really quite effective
For the 2nd golem, we actually found it much more effective to melee him. We had 3 people meleeing him and 2 ranging him. Melee was good because his spin-o-rama move has a big tell before it starts, and the damage isn’t all up front. It’s spread out over the whole attack. That way, even if you don’t dodge out BEFORE he attacks, you can dodge out DURING the attack and come away with only a little health lost and a burning condition. As a guardian I have a condition removal with 20 second cooldown so that wasn’t a problem. Didn’t know about the boon-removal trick on the first golem. Good to know!
The big thing is, they have 2 tiers of gear for each dungeon, but the low tier gear is not at all worth getting because by the time you’ve farmed enough dungeon currency, you’re too high a level for the gear to be useful. AND the low tier gear is the same skin as some regular gear you can get elsewhere? What’s that about? I feel that if I just ran an explorable mode and finally completed it after 3 hours, I should at least be able to get 1 piece of gear and have it represent my achievement, not look like some schmo’s gear I’m standing beside who didn’t work hard to finish the dungeon. Instead, I’ll just have to bank my 25 tokens and maybe consider coming back at level 80 to get the upper tier set, and really only if they give you more tokens per run.
