Finally found a forum thread for this. I have submitted a tech support request but thought id add to this thread to help keep the problem in the limelight. The game for me is now unplayable, after running the usual maintenance repairs that are advised I am able to log in and play for a short while but its guaranteed to crash again and when it does you simply cannot get back in, it seems especially worse if you character is stuck loading into lions arch.

Has anyone actually permanently fixed this issue, if so how? For me it started after the edge of the mists update.

1) I have GW1 but cannot login in because my log in details no longer work (think i need to recover the account, just havnt got around to it)

2) I log in from the UK

3) I play at all times of the day but most often between 18:00 and 00:00

Mate.. Spot on issue with me too. Lions Arch is what I cant even load up. Loads for 1 full minute or so, and then error: 7:11:3:189:101

Please someone help.. spent a full hour on searching for a solution.

Been more than 3 Days.

Turns out, it was just a long loading, but never could load to the end, because of a connection error. Now LUCKILY it managed to load, but 10 seconds after, the game crashed with no error.

I did try what Inculpatus cedo said, with -prefreset, that didnt help.
I will try to be patience, even thou i doubt they will come back to me. Once 72 hours will pass, I will post to the mentioned tread for re-views. Thank you for your fast responses all.

I spoke too soon…
I contacted them 20 hours ago, I did expect a response within 2-4 hours.. I know you will recommend to wait up to 3 days, sadly from what i read in other posts, i doubt they will respond to that matter. As they didn’t to couple exact posts before.

Would there be any alternative. I don’t ask for much, just to be teleported from Lions Arch back to Lions Arch default spawning location. I hope that makes sense.

Hi.

My main lvl 80 character won’t load past loading screen (Lion’s Arch), no matter how long I wait.
Other chars load just fine.

Could maybe some administrator teleport my character to somewhere more stable? I have no clue where it is at, but I believe it’s in “unloadable” place. Char name: “Death Blade Bringer”.
