I agree with many stuff in this topic. It is true that Revenant feels… off. And the damage is dreadful, no matter how you build it. I look forward to trying the changes Anet
I would definitely say 2, put the symbol on all of the mesmer clones.
I do not play my mesmer often, most of my hours are on Thief & Necromancer, however, Mesmers are already easy to kill due to how squishy they are, and decently easy to spot for any semi-competent player.
A mesmers main line of defense is Clones & Stealth (If they even take stealth), and to a lesser extent, Blink, and with this supply thing highlighting them, it would completely destroy their primary defense (clones) as an option. That only leaves Stealth & Blink, which forces them to pick +100% stealth duration & the utility blink, giving no choice over build options if they plan to survive carrying these supply crates.
As it is now, this needs to be addressed.
Ranger is in a good spot for WvW right now, since July 23rd patch. The Piercing gives it an advantage over many AoE based classes. As for FPS, As you can stand further away from a players upto 1500 range, you may be able to notice a small increase in overall fps. If you roam in WvW, you can run Trapper Runes, and Trap utilities, which will give you constant Stealth everytime you drop any kind of class trap, even WvW Supply Traps, this will give you superior escape versus most situations when roaming, or zerging. With spvp, ranger suffers from poor defense/survival versus other classes, limited escape capabilities in spvp, they are squishy as power, moderate survival as condi/toughness, still weak versus condition enemies.
Warrior is more simply explained, definitely well known to be in a good place in WvW, great single target & aoe damage, in melee range, decent stability buffs, and decent might buffs. If lag is an issue, Roaming you should be fine, but if you ever plan to zerg, friend or foe, lag will be at its height in this situation. Decent roaming skills, but any enemy ganks will be an issue. Warrior is definetely much stronger then Ranger in sPVP at this time, and is among the top 3 most Overpowered classes in sPVP at this time.
Basically, If I was in your situation I would play Ranger in WvW, but Warrior in PVP.

If you are eligible, you may be selected… Plus it doesnt start for another 2 hours.
Quote “Participants for this test have been chosen from a pool of players who met our testing criteria. Criteria for participation included, but were not limited to, the number of hours played in WvW and availability during the time of the test. If you were not selected for this round of testing, you’ll have another chance in the future as we expand the number of participants in future tests.”
If you are not a dedicated WvW player, you most definitely should not be testing it.

Just tested both in PvE and PvP and no, pistol range is exactly as stated – 900 in. What you’re seeing is the incorrect shortbow range, which is in fact 1,100 in.
I see, if this is true, then I guess a fix is still needed, at the very least, a Tooltip fix.
I’m hoping to get acknowledgement on this subject. If I need to, I will provide screenshots as proof.
Thiefs Pistol Range, incorrect, only about 750, instead of the 900 that the tooltip indicates.
The shortbow says 900, and shoots at 900.
The Pistol says 900, but shoots at around 750-800.
Please fix this, yous have ignored posts about this, that are more then a YEAR OLD!.

My personal rule of thumb is:
For Basic/Fine/Masterwork items, use Crude/Basic/Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic.
For Rare items, use Master/Mystic Salvage Kits.
For Exotic items, use Black Lion Salvage Kits, or Master/Mystic Kits if you don’t have them.
Thank you for the reply, I was thinking basically that order. It also helps me decide if the Copper Fed Salvage-o-Matic is worth buying or not.
Ok So before I start, I’ll say, I currenctly have 3750 charges worth on Mystic Salvage Kits.
What I would like to ask is as follows… It seems like a waste using Mystic Salvage Kits on Basic (white) and Fine (Blue) items. Should I just use Crude Kits on these?
Similar question for Masterwork (Green), but I’m guessing these are more likely to require Mystic Salvage Kits?
If Crude is the recommended for Basic, Fine, and/or Masterwork, at what level would it matter for each quality? I know some people have different opinions on this, but I would still like to hear feedback on this. Thank you
Not everyone is in favour of Precursor Crafting. As it is already in place, at a place called the Mystic Forge.
If and when they add Precursor Crafting at the Weaponsmith, it should be just as hard as the Mystic Forge, or harder.
There are 6 camps on each map. every 5min every camp spawn 2 dollies, thats a total of 144 per hours for 1 million dollies you need an absolute minimum of 6944 hours.
And I do not believe that it is possible to catch all the 12 dollies nor that always all 6 camps are enemy controlled, if you catch 4 every 5 min you are good and it would take 868 days of 24hour play, i.e. longer than GW2 is out now.
Thats with no sleep too, lol.
Im an avid OCE WvWer, i play minimum 5 nights a week and enjoy defending/havoc groups. Can someone recommend a server that have OCE guilds? ( not T1 ) Im currently on SoS.
Many great oce guilds in Sea of Sorrows, such as Hulk, Suit, ect But in the end of the day, finding a single oce guild that suits you, regardless of server, is more important.

Yeah, some of these Achievements would actually take decades of playing almost constantly to finish. Very unrealistic numbers. I hope they fix this.
I run a D/D & Shortbow condition build that consists of Healing, Traps, thief summons, and Death Blossom. Very fun to use, and something I rarely come across.
Yes, just do the track a few times like Roe said and you will be just fine. As a side note, it is probably much faster if you do CoF 1+2 daily (120 tokens in maybe 30-45 minutes max) and then do the track for the rest of your play time, but if you don’t want to touch PvE you don’t have to.
I don’t mind PvE, I’m just not a huge fan of Dungeons, as they just feel a bit monotonous. But regardless, I’ll consider what you’ve said.
Thank you for the information and clarification Roe and Bhawb.

I have most of my items for my first Legendary, Incinerator, but I need 500 Flame Legion Charr Carving. I have already unlocked the Citadel of Flame Dungeon Track, Will this Reward Track reward this exact currency, the same as its PVE dungeon counterpart?
I enjoy sPvP and tPvP alot, and would much rather just grind the last stuff I need in PvP.
Thank you in advance for any information.
Getting this same bug… this is VERY annoying because most of my Major Traits are the same as my PvE build -.-
These Sharks continuously bug out. I was lucky to have it reset after waiting an entire day. It needs to be fixed.
As the title says, Tribune Sorya Fatekiller in the Skill challenge “Defeat Tribune Sorya Fatekiller”, is broken, at least on Sea of Sorrows server. It has been broken for 2 days, the NPC is nowhere in sight, shows up on the map, but nothing to fight!
It does appear as though this does not work, unless it does not show in the tooltip. If its weapon skills only, ArenaNet should write in the tooltip “Critical Chance Increased on weapon skills only”, or something.
