Guild Wars 2

Link the waypoint and you get people helping fast. Even if they’re not just being nice, they’ll still want the karma awards.

Overall the experience of GW2 quests has been extremely underwhelming, especially compared to GW1.

So far the end of “The Steel Tide” is the worst example I’ve seen. The end battle, specifically the pacing and dialog between the two friendly NPCs. It all reminded me of a high school improv group I saw recently.

The “Sam! No! Not you Sam! Not you!” bit…wow.

Still not sure if that was an attempt at drama or parody. Either way it failed.

+1 to a & c. Not b though, but I’ll round up from 2/3. Buying access to GMs sounds like a bad idea to me.

Mentioned something like c to some guildies just last week actually. Rack up enough points and get a custom Ban Hammer skin in your Hall of Monuments.

Ditto. 3 between yesterday and today. The thing is they’re going straight to my main email. I use a separate email address and password just for GuildWars2. Just double the forums (/looks up, yep) and the support site. Neither have ever used that email address.

The only link I see is to support.guildwars2.com. It looks hokey and as usual the details are odd. For one it references “Guild Wars,” but the domains it uses are actually guildwars2.com.

What gets me is it appears to actually point at guildwars2.com which is legit. I almost wish it were actually pointing to an obvious phishing site.

I replace a piece if it gets 15-20 behind, but otherwise I just use what I find.

I just stick to Tasks, Events, and my Quests while leveling a character so gear isn’t all that important. I’ll only jump in WvW a couple nights a week during scheduled events for my guild(s).

Constant /map chatter in pretty much every zone all the time on my server. Granted in some zones they’re not saying much like in Sparklefly. For the most part that one is just “When’s the dragon?”

Not so much from Straits of Devastation on from what I’ve seen, probably due to the broken bits in those zones so people are going elsewhere.
