And now I’m suddenly getting this error when the game was running fine last week. Reinstalling DirectX9 has not worked to fix the problem.

Edit: I fixed the problem by rolling back my video driver.

So what The Goonies [Goon] have come with so far is an excel sheet on Google Drive where we can enter the following data:

Player Name | Character Name | Representing | Date | Time

This way, we’ll be able to see what members never represent our guild and remove them from the roster after a quick message. By having each officer enter data into the spreadsheet, we’ll be able to include a variety of dates and times so that we are able to capture a fair representation of member activity.

It’d still be a hell of a lot easier if we had a “last logged in” column, though. :P

While working on a Guild Bounty this evening, we found ourselves blocked by overflow on Frostgorge map due to the Claw of Jormag world event. Only 2 members of our guild made it onto the server; everyone else was routed to overflow. We scrambled to redirect everyone to our second target because we’re a medium sized guild and do not have the numbers to kill both targets at once.

IMO, placing targets on World Event maps was a huge mistake, especially since guesting was opened up at the same time.

Other than that, we’re having a great time strategizing and coming together as a team to complete the bounties.

Edit: We’re getting around 20 guild members participating in each Guild Bounty, although we have probably a dozen more on at the same time (but probably not representing). Some of the fights have been a struggle with these numbers, but we’ve been equally successful and unsuccessful in completing our bounties.

I can’t wait for the breakout events. Even if they’re buggy and eventually abused, we’re heading in a cool new direction.

i would say if your in multiple guilds then each of your guilds should get the influence a player earns or at least a portion of it in some way wither the player Rep’s or not…. 100% influence for the guild your Rep’ing and maybe 50% influence for the ones you arnt at the time.

I actually like this idea. If anything, split influence amongst every guild a player is a member of with a majority going to rep’d guild. Might discourage people from joining too many guilds. shrug

As a member of Goonies, I’d like to see our management have more time to PLAY the game themselves, and not have to spend all of their alotted game time to managing we rabble. Many of us are adults with limited windows in which to play; fulfilling the requests above would allow guild managers to optimize what time they have.

Phase 1 is bugged; Noll is no where to be found, Canach cannot die.
Phase 2 is bugged, but you can still get all items: Fahd isn’t doing anything, but you can just check the chest below Fahd to get the shell.

As part of the “rabble” (not in a large organized WvW guild), I really hope you guys don’t push WvW to be a raid type of environment where only the leet can play…

Winning is good and all that, but I love the battles and hope I can continue to play as a casual gamer (anywhere from 1 – 12 hours per week).

Sometimes I miss the “Alamo!” days. :P

I gave up in disgust (with myself) after 4 hours one night. The next morning I thought, “I’ll try for 20 minutes more, and then give up permanently”. I realized I was a LOT better at it than the night before. I kept getting further and further… 45 minutes later, I made it.

I’ve rarely felt so accomplished. Thank you for that challenge.

Yeah, that one’s bugged. Try logging out and logging in again in case it’s just a display issue?

Been that way since yesterday (I’ve logged in and out 3 times since then). :/
