It may be unreasonable to program them to do the above with 100% accuracy, but you have to remember, games like Unreal Tournament 2004 had AI smart enough to dodge, cap nodes, steal flags, jump to avoid and shoot with godlike aim.
A man who gets it. As hard as it is to accept the facts you stated, you have to admit they are true in almost every regard.
The only thing though is that you limited your statements to GvG only. Guild Wars 1 had plenty of other game modes in PvP. HA being the best example.
Guild Wars 1 was such a great game in the sense that you would NEVER run out of things to do while playing either PvE or PvP. The focus here being PvP.
Bored of RA/TA? Want a challenge? Hit up HA!
Think your good? Get a team and go GvG.
Want to mix it up even more? Go play Hero Arenas!
Want to test numbers, builds, or conditions? Isle of the Nameless!
Want to earn a bit of “Faction” while testing against old school Team Comps?
Go to Zaishen Elite/Challenge!
While the second to last thing on my list is somewhat implemented in the form of Test Dummies and NPC Professions in the Mists. The lack of a Zaishen Elite type challenge concerns me. There is also the fact of just having something extra to do during those down times.
Having an option like this not only gives players the ability to earn a bit of Glory, but also gives them the chance to work on actual team comps and communication against a set of NPC teams. Similar to that of the NPC challenge in HA. Test before you play.
What do you think?
Who cares about numbers and stats.
The point being is that Anet should of learned not to kitten over PvP from the beginning. If I recall correctly, something like this happened at the Launch of Guild Wars 1. Although, I do recall PvP working as intended at launch. Either way the lessons learned the hard way in Guild Wars 1 should not of been repeated here.

While I’m definitely impressed by your survival skills, I’m quite underwhelmed by your build’s damage output. While it seems to be enough in 1vs1 situations, you might often find yourself in a situation where you can’t finish someone off before enemy reinforcements arrive, thus ending up in a >2vs1 situation. But hey – it all depends on one’s play style. I prefer high DPS with just a pinch of survivability, while you seem to be focused on stuns and heals. Nothing wrong with that Could you share your build?
Although I completely agree with the your statement regarding damage, you have to keep in mind that this is more or less an assist Build. Sure it survives well and to some extent can 1v1. However its more for Spike Assist, CC, Condition removal, Revival. I was solo queued there in those videos so most of the time I am running Solo or 1v1ing.
In a premade with Guild members. You pair this Build up with a DPS Mesmer or a Tanky Mesmer and you are unstoppable.
I would have to put the template together but I am more than happy to.

Did not realize the forum messed up my old thread. So recreating it.
So I believe I have found the new Warrior Meta. I seen the Trip Shout Warrior Build that has recently begun to spring up and I made a few adjustments to it. I believe this Build now to be the most powerful that a Warrior can offer.
No longer are Warriors outclassed.
Guardians, Thieves, Mesmers are the meta? I doubt that.
Behold! The ES Shout Warrior. Check out the my Video and tell me what you think.

I see a lot of kittening on here about Warrior’s being underpowered. With no survivability, to easy to kill, so on and so forth. I believe those players just lack the skill required.
So I present the naysayers with the rise of the ES Shout Warrior. A slight variation to the recent Trip Shout Build that has been picking up. I believe in the right hands this to be be the new Warrior Meta.
Mesmer? Guardian? Thief? What are those classes? Pave way for the Warrior!
Check out the footage for yourself and tell me what you think.

The most annoying thing about this game is the not having the above.
I only play 2 professions atm and I have 6 char slots. So I have 3 Warriors with different builds and gear set-ups that I can switch between on the fly. As well as 3 Necromancers which I also do the same with.
Although this is fine for me, it is annoying and a hassle for those who may play 4-5 different professions.
So implement the Trait/Build Saving System as well as Equipment.
If Guild Wars 1 had it, why not this game?
When you look at these forums, whether it be here, Guru or where ever else. All you see is kittening and complaining about this or that. Not to say those people are not justified in their claims. I mean come on, this game was rushed to say the least.
However, the question being now… What did they do right? Be honest.
I have seen the other Warrior threads with people kittening about their viability and survivability or general usefulness in Tournament Play. Now before I even begin, let me assure you that I am no scrub when it comes to the Warrior profession. I have sunk about 121 hours into the Warrior for 5v5 play since launch (/age @ 1:40 PM 9/14) and about 40 or so in BWEs. I know what I am talking about. Or at the very least merit a reasonable opinion.
To keep it sweet and short. The Warrior as a profession is simply outclassed and outmaneuvered 8 times out of 10 in the various scenarios I have encountered or been apart of. The options that are available to the Warrior, are simply better preformed by other classes who are speced for the same thing the Warrior intends to spec for. In my opinion at this time, the only 2 Warrior specs that are worth while for 5v5 as follows…
The Bursty HB Combo with it’s variants (Whether this be Axe/Axe Axe/Shield Hammer with minor trait adjustments etc)
We have all seen the HB Combos and their variants, this is not what I intend to show you today with this thread. I am here to show you the secondary option. Played by a player with higher than average experience.
The second option….
Defensive Banner Point Holder
http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fIAQNAS5ejkOpwVPCQ4wBA0Dr4aLThfSPCDt1A;TsAA1CtosxYjwGrNObk2s+YgwGBA
(Now Defy Pain and Lung Capacity and the 10 in Arms may be changed around mid match or before if you expect to encounter a particular Build or Combo, DO NOT think these are static options. The Regen is about 500 a tick with 360 every 3 seconds as seen in video below)
I will admit this is not the best footage of me playing this Build. It was late, I was in my 5th Tourny in a row with no break at the time. I made SEVERAL rookie mistakes in the beginning as well as in post match. Professional players will catch them by far, however, the point being is this build is really the only other Warrior option at the moment. Besides, we won anyway’s. That is what counts :P
Enjoy and comment.

I don’t understand how you people can take these issues so calmly. I mean come on. WTF is Arenanet doing. At least address the issues at hand and make up some push over response to keep the masses happy.
It would be different if the entire section of the game known as S-PvP was fully working to begin with, without these additions that should of came stock but it is just adding insult to injury when S-PvP in it’s current form does not even work as intended.
