What superior sigils for weapons pve/wvw?

I believe the +5% crit sigils do stack. I haven’t tested the crit ones but I did test the force sigils. (killed 30 mobs, all same mob type and level, wrote down all the damage numbers from screenshots, yea time consuming )

Sigil of Force seems to be stacking did roughly 10% more damage with 2x sigils of force so I don’t see why the crit sigils wouldn’t stack as well.

I thought it was the next big thing when it comes to MMO games. I was very wrong, quests in this game are generally more boring that most MMOs, only interesting quests were the story ones. WoW quests are more fun. Dynamic Events are little more than WoW daily quests without the need to pick up the quests or hand em in, that’s done automatically. The only thing this game has going for it is no monthly subscription fees, but then again there are more fun F2P games.

Bots seem to like this game at least, never seen as many bots in an MMO ever before. Btw that’s why the servers are still high population, because of bots. Most real players have long quit and gone back to more interesting games.

At least it’s broken on Vabbi as well (as always) probably every temple event is broken. I only checked this one but I noticed we don’t control any of them so most likely they are all broken (like usual)

Healing power is not viable

The heal on dodge talent does actually benefit a lot from healing power, tried it but still to heal 1800 on a dodge you would need close to 1800 healing power. It get’s roughly 80% of your healing power and your base heal for dodging with the trait is around 362.

So maybe I was wrong not sure how much healing power it’s possible to get.

An idea, how about offhand being part of the auto attack (attack 1)?

Yes that would be nice! I just don’t like the functionality of the shield and other offhands for that matter. I want to do something with em, something that isn’t on a 30s+ CD.

Perhaps I’m the extreme minority but I’ve had no issues with the camera. Feels fine. The only thing I don’t like is the glitchy graphics when you get near walls and tight spaces, floors disappear etc.

Healing power is not viable

There is no way a dodge roll heals for 1800. Although tbh I haven’t tested it. But I did test a couple of things.

The standard regen on guardian that ticks all the time seems to gain 5% of your healing power per tick. The final mace smash gets around 16% or so, skill 4 on the staff that has a 15s CD gets 100%. I tested this just by switching the signet that gives healing power On/Off.

For the 1800 healing on a dodge to be true it would have to get 100% as well, seriously doubt it does. But perhaps I’m wrong. Most heals don’t get anywhere near that much.

I guess this would be a pretty big feature, so if they’d ever consider it would probably be in an expansion.

I just think dual wielding at least on guardian is a bit boring, you have this offhand weapon but you don’t do anything with it except every once in a while when the CD is ready.

For example the shield on the guardian, it just is there strapped to your arm most of the time doing nothing. Wouldn’t it be fun if when equipping a shield part of the “attack 1” rotation would be smashing the target in the face with the shield. Or with the torch hitting them with it and perhaps doing fire damage (not a dot) instead of physical damage.

Your character has a weapon in both hands but the offhand is kinda boring when you never swing it.

Is there any server on which the temple of melandru chain isn’t broken, and is server transfer still free? Would like to buy some stamina/power/toughness armors. Only place that sells the heavy chest with that stat combination I think. Think every temple chain is broken on Vabbi too, every one I’ve bothered to check at least. And has been like that for probably over a week.

More events are definitely broken now than 2 weeks ago or so. Back then I usually ran into only one broken event chain per zone now it’s more like 2-4.

Probably still broken right? Arenanet are so super fast at fixing stuff. Broken on my server too, been for as long as I can remember.

In this game things don’t get better just worse, at least on my server more and more quests break almost every day and never get fixed. Soon you can’t do anything.

WoW had innumerable bugs after each expansion that didn’t get fixed for months. Months.

People keep saying “Oh WoW has sooo many bugs”, but I’ve played it since release and I’ve had no problems with any bugs. Not saying there has not been any but they haven’t affected me enough to care.

Can’t say the same about GW2. Blizzard are usually very quick fixing serious bugs.

I’ve played every expansion of WoW since release, although there has certainly been bugs I can’t remember a single time I’ve ran into any serious enough bugs that I’ve just logged out frustrated by the game. If there are any serious bugs in WoW please tell us which ones. The reason some might not have been fixed ever is probably cause they are so minor that they don’t really seriously affect anyone’s enjoyment of the game.

When the best event chains in several zone are broken or the last skill point or whatever I’ve logged out from GW2 several times and played something else. In my opinion they aren’t doing a very good job fixing stuff.

Really at this rate broken events will never get fixed, each update fixes X number of bugs and adds Y number of bugs. They break as much as they fix (if not more), it’s been over a month and still you can’t log on and play an hour without running into 1-2 broken event chains in almost every high end zone.

I never played guild wars 1 so don’t know what to expect, will they eventually fix all these broken events or will the game still be in this shape a year from now? or even worse?

The bugs are not really “game breaking” but they are very very annoying non the less. I’ve never experienced this many broken quests (events) in any other MMO I’ve ever played. Not kidding, but perhaps I just haven’t played enough.

Well anyone is free to do their own tests, but as far as I’m concerned I’m done with magic find. If it doesn’t work in normal circumstances it’s useless anyway.

That’s no problem I play a guardian I kill stuff slowly, and I didn’t do it in one go. Did it 3x 30 min with each set of gear, used a sharpening stone buff to time it. Any anti farming measures certainly didn’t kick in. I’ve tested that before, solo I can’t kill stuff fast enough for it to happen.

I did have the anti farming feature activate once when having a group of people massacring mobs in a spot. Didn’t get any drops for 30min to an hour after that.

1hour 30min isn’t a very long test to test these kinds of things with. Only one person, in one area(when apparently ANet has anti-farm scripting built into the game), killing the same things for a short amount of time isn’t going to be showing very much.

True, but all the same, if I’m seeing zero benefit it’s not worth using. It certainly doesn’t double your drops even 90 minutes would have been enough to see a big gain if that was the case.

Stacking MF on every single piece of gear and crippling your health (MF gear usually gives no vitality) just ruins your character with no noticeable gain.

I did a small test, 1 hour 30 min with 2 different sets of gear. One set has 3% magic find, other set has 109%. Farmed the same areas with both sets. This isn’t very accurate but for magic find to be worth using I’d like to see some real gain.

Since I lose damage and a third of my health using the magic find set I think I’ll vendor it.

Magic Find is garbage, I probably did slightly better with the non MF gear heh. The consumable that buffs MF might be worth using, any gear with MF no thanks.

Started getting items again after an hour or so (of leaving the event), didn’t try to leave the zone. So don’t know if that would have helped.

But I guess it’s true then, there is a cap how many items you can find in a certain time period. I guess I can’t kill mobs fast enough to run into it while solo at least. Group farming mobs or chain doing events and you’ll get no items.

I ran into a strange issue today, perhaps it’s just a bug. There was a world even that seemed to be bugged we kept killing hordes of mobs and they just kept coming. Was an event in the last orr zone some NPCs were trying to build a cannon but they never got anywhere.

Kept killing the undeads for I don’t know 15-20 minutes, after a while I noticed no loot dropping anymore. (someone else experienced the same thing) Thought it was perhaps bad luck or something. Left the area and kept killing mobs in another part of the zone, still after killing 50 mobs or so I had not gotten a single drop, not even grey junk.

Seems there is a cap for how many items you can get in a certain amount of time, either that or my character experienced some strange bug. If a “feature” it kinda sucks, makes magic find gear rather useless, you’ll just hit the “item cap” faster. (if there is a cap, would be rather lame)
