Some small things I would like to see changed in the new elite Mirage specialization.
Of course I did not learn the elite in 2 days, so probably some suggestions are made based on my not so expert experience, but whatever.
The Mirage mirror should last longer in the field. Adding a second? (Or 2, I need them and time is essential to reach them, a problem explained later)
We can not move away while evading. It’s the new mechanics, but you’ve added 3/4 seconds of superspeed to compensate. This does not work when you evade on side or back where every movement improvement does not work, but you moves even slower. So you can not avoid the Aoe except on the forehead, in other directions is how to stand and doing nothing to survive.
So, please add more superspeed, a whole second would help a lot, and maybe make sure that it also works when you walk backwords. Another problem regarding to movement and speed in the battlefield is to reach the mirage mirror spread in the area created with the trait Shard of Glass character, or the Crystal Sands or Sand Through Glass utilities. Obviously you can use the Elite Jaunt, but the range of 400 is embarrassing, or add the Sigil of Inspiration to your build, but i feel like it’s a wasted space. Some swiftness added to different skills or minor traits are wellcome (I really miss the bonus movement from the Chrono trait line, but we can not have everything, I know).
Add a evading window to Axis # 2? It would be nice and will add some survival to this set of weapon.
Crystalline sand rarely can hit something. More stackof confusion will compensate for all these missed missiles.
I must say that i find really well made everything else, the animation are great and also the particle effects are very ipnotizing.

Some ideas for the elite specializations and some changes that I would like to see before the expac comes out ( a sum of my weekend’s experience and things already published here):
It costs too much energy. Reduce in some way.
“No valid path” is annoying, these utilities should act as wells or banners when they are cast (even wiki say they act as a ranger spirits, but those skills are called “stances” and damage as wells, something weird here).
Icerazor should cause chill (instead of cripple ofc, plus slow?) For better synergy with mallyx traits and would be consistent with its name, icon and description of the ability (debilitating condition).
Move the stun-break to another utility, or maybe in F2?
Shortbow 3 sometimes loses some bullets, I do not know how to improve it.
Make it faster! Speaking of attack rate and movement (add swiftness to a skill or trait).
Of course all this should be balanced, I’m not asking for a spec OP… just for a viable use (for me at least).

I’m also a clicker and would appreciate something like this from 2012, knowing that maybe it’s a problem for only a small part of the player base. I hope, however, that it will be implemented in a not so far future.

Depends on the color of the ambient light. Plus this outfit is very reflective, there are places that allow beautiful color games based also on the color of the sky.

It’s great that you’re taking time to update existing legendaries. However…

Waaaaay too generic. Each and every projectile gets replaced by exactly the same effect. On Elementalist, it looks ridiculous. You can’t tell apart Phoenix, Dust Devil and Water Trident. Seriously disappointing.

I am also really disappointed in seeing the projectile substitution for elemental skills Phoenix, Dust Devil and Water Trident. I appreciete replacing skill 1 animation with a more legendary bullet, or certain skills of other professions where there are usually no well-made animations (when they simply trow to the enemy a basic projectile or the whole weapon), but in this case it is perhaps a step backwards in the way of improvements. Recalling that meteorlogicus lacks a draw effect and an aura before hiding my beloved Phoenix.

Maybe you should try going 10 minutes beforehand? The last shatterer that just happened just an hour ago achieved ‘smash the dragon’. Just check the LFG for ‘cc shatt’ 10-20 minutes beforehand. Don’t expect to go right at the start of the event to find an org map.

i’ve did it, even 15-20 min before the event start. And i know it’s a MMORPG, i’m not asking for soloing events.

Sometimes I want to pull out my eyes with a spoon for dessert when I see dragonballhaired- winged – Charr or the profession-bender engineers in assassin’s suit as the OP says .
After studying chromatology and colour’s theory for a few years , even strange colour combinations arouse me sick. Probably my problem.

After trying to get this achievements so many times, changing map and searching for a coordinated one with no results, Anet i ask to you to avoid this kind of cooperative achiev., or achiev. that involve so many people, because 2-3 days after the release no one helps to get those anymore. I’m personally stuck at 7/20 of no-fly zone, but every time i see only 10-15 player that helps in the break-bar phase, and they aren’t enough.
Don’t come to say “search for a cc map” because it’s what i did. But nothing changed.
Perhaps by encouraging players to continue to try to break his bar regardless if they have completed the achiev . Please forgive my language errors, i’m not english.

Lightning Orb should chain into a second skill that lets you teleport to your Lightning Orb, giving warhorn some much needed mobility.

Flame Burst Staff skill #3

I would like to see more stacks of burning added to Flame Burst skill. It’s really slow and difficult using staff with fire magic to do some condition damage ( except with bleeding from earth magic). Maybe 3 or 4 stacks in total?
And i would like to see a general improvement for the “old” weapons, at least to the animation (the new ones from the warhorn are far far best for me).

Elites with no cooldown (with the exception of the energy cost)? Is this fair?

Did you know that Thief utilities and elites use cooldowns, not Initiative?

Yes, yes I did. That was not the question however. He asked whether or not an Elite that has no cooldown is fair. There is no precedent for that.

That’s the best I can come up with, and while it makes sense grammatically I still can’t see how it makes any sense in the context of the conversation.

I asked whether or not weapon skills that have no cooldown is fair
and that will be your answer.

the original question was about the revenant’s Elites with no cooldowns (yes, is all about energy management… but it seems to be a fast resource, to me at least).
My (and guild wars wiki) idea about Elites is “Elite skills are especially powerful skills designed to be used infrequently and have a dramatic effect on the tide of a battle. The last slot on the skill bar is reserved for elite skills. Elite skills typically have much longer recharge times compared to normal utility skills — very few recharge in less than 60 seconds, and some can take up to 4 minutes”.

(i’m not english so forgive possible errors)

I’ve never used warrior, and i will never do. Every one picks up warrior for dungeons because u don’t have to organize the party, as someone said before, only brainless dps/might stacking (this is my thought).
