Me too – just happened in bells.

I seem to be having the same issue since the patch. I can log in for a couple of minutes, then I get booted.

I had uninstalled yesterday after my client wasn’t working with the patch. The internet settings trick worked for me when I tried it this morning.

Computer #1: Trying to run installer. No instances of Coherent are running regardless of installer state.

Computer #2: Game installed. Running the launcher causes 2 instances of Coherent to start and immediately disappear. No instances running when gw2 launcher is killed.

I had already tried to go through the repair process with no luck, so I deleted it entirely and grabbed the installer from the account section. I turned off my antivirus and gave it a whirl.. no luck.

What I have is the what would be the login/update UI, only all it has is the title gw2-anet graphic and the sylvari graphic, and a solid red bar at the bottom. No controls at all – not even the window button controls usually found on the top-right.

ETA: I tried running the installer again, and this time the UI comes up correctly, with “Install Guild Wars 2” on the red bar at the bottom, but nothing is clickable. Running Windows 8.1, tested on 2 computers, same issue. Second computer doesn’t even have antivirus.

Same here, on both my computer and my husband’s. Login UI pops up on mine, but I can’t click on any field or button. Login UI on hubby’s puter doesn’t fully load. I’ve tried repairing my installation with no luck. Both computers on Windows 8.1.

It could very well be a heat issue. If it’s only happening when it’s hot outside, I’d imagine that’s what your problem is.

It’s everywhere. I’m in Timberline Falls and map & guild chat is full of people experiencing drops/lag.

Me too – can’t search at all. Search function does not initiate. Tried the same browsers as OP.

I imagine nearly everyone is.

I am experiencing a delay when doing such things as talking to NPC’s or using skills. It’s about 2 – 3 seconds before what ever action I’m asking for happens, which is just long enough to make the game extremely annoying to play.

This just started less than a week ago. Everything else appears fine; I have a high fps of ~100, I’m on a 50 mbps bandwidth package that is working like it always does, and my husband who has an identical setup to me is not experiencing this lag at all.

The only other oddity is that I can sit in L.A. and watch other people rubber-band before my eyes.

Any ideas?

Just to add for those that aren’t aware, full screen windowed mode is an option within the game. It looks just like regular full screen, but you have access to your other monitors without the game minimizing when it loses focus.

I ran across this issue as well. Nothing I did I would have considered anything close to spamming – I had pretty much the same experience as Karsusk. Since then I just let my guildies do the recruiting.

Happened to me yesterday and again this morning. Close down the game client completely and start it up again. Seems to work.

I haven’t walked through every quest, but I haven’t come across one in any of my characters that I thought was too hard.

Not being able to complete a personal quest the first or third time is not something I get upset about. I love it. It makes me think about the situation & build, make adjustments and try something new. This is how I learn exactly how weapons/skills/stats work with each other. I want to know how to beat the quest and why it works that way.

I know that there are probably quite a few personal story quests that should be adjusted and tweaked a little here and there, but if something happens to make them easier across the board, it’ll only reduce the game play to mindless button pushing.

I have no idea how I did it, but keymashing out of frustration seemed to work. Happened right after I tried it and got the content unavailable message.

Might not help, but worth a shot.

Broken on Yak’s Bend today. Looks like challenge has been activated, but NPC is nowhere in sight. Probably stuck under stairs or something.

Yeah, it was stuck about 3 hours ago when I ran by it last. Only difference I saw is that he did take my sprinkler parts from me.

I really don’t care what the fees are, but they should warn sellers when items are put up for sale. Too many people have no idea (and may never realize) that this extra tax exists and that in itself really makes for an unfair market.

I’m also a fan of a sale expiration date.

This morning I’m unable to sell anything or put in a custom offer to buy items. All screens load except the sell screen. When I try to put in a custom offer, total is not updated and Place Order button remains greyed out.

My guess is that we need new video drivers that conveniently haven’t been created yet. As far as playing with low graphics, I only turn them down when going into L.A. and then as soon as I’m done I turn them back up again. Haven’t seen the crash-loop anywhere else.

Had the exact same thing happen the other day. What finally worked for me was to turn my graphics down to low. Give that a try – can’t hurt.

You know those greedy Black Lion Execs will walk out with at least a 100g severance package while our home instances are in jeopardy!

To add to my previous post, I also am seeing a bit of money come in from items I posted for sale last night, but I have no idea which items have sold.

That seems a little odd. Though I’m nowhere near level 80, I’ve had no problem stashing coin. Maybe the rewards need to be balanced a bit in higher levels? Or maybe your toon is bugged?

Same story as everyone else – tried to pick up 25 vials of weak blood for 8 silver – money gone, no vials to pick up.. tried logging out and logging back in just in case but no luck.

Something similar happened yesterday – can’t remember what it was I was buying, but it was for about 7.5 silver. Took my money and transaction didn’t complete, but money was returned to my Pick Up.

I’d prefer that bug over this one if I had a choice!
