thanks, fay’s build i have not seen before. i tried a similar, i guess i have to practice blocking more, been not very successful in pvp with it so far.

i just moved from my leveling legion phantasm build to an glass cannon shatter build with dmg on conditions and power: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7MeyC4IPC0 , can kill extremely fast, but extreamly fluffy … if i get agro from where i dont expect it i am quickly down.

does it make sense to have a class connon build in end game content, or should i get more survivability?

not sure if i dont get answers because the question was put in a stupid way. let me try to rephrase:

do people still successfully use the phantasms build in pvp or is that an outdated build for pvp ?

i just started with sPvP after playing my Mesmer to 80.

I was always quite convinced about the Mesmer “Legion” Build as posted and VERY nicely explained from Taugrim here: http://taugrim.com/2012/09/23/guide-to-guild-wars-2-mesmer-legion-build/ . I even played that in PvE for the last 10 lvls to get used to the key bindings etc.

even though a beginner, i already won some 1vs1 situations, which sounds good for the build, right? but then i feel a bit squishy some times and also feel i miss some burst to end situations quickly (i can enter a fight with burst, but when i am inside there seems not much i can do create a pike). also when there are more than 2 people on each side, i feel like missing some aoe. thought about an alternative build like that one: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/mesmer/Celestial-Madonna-sPvP-build … but i wanted to get some opinions before switching away from what i am used to, obviously have to learn a lot on the new one.

so my question is: what is your opinion on the legion mesmer for pvp? should i stick to it and try to master more aspects of pvp (i just discovered that i can blink at certain places up, which is boosting my survivability quite a lot). or should i rather focus on training into another pvp build that will be more efficient in the long run?

i am playing quite casually which means that there are always weeks, and sometimes even a whole month that i have other things to do. But then there comes a day that i am bummed out or a week where i am more active and play upto 10h that week.

at the moment i am leveling and later on i am interested in doing some PVP. I have a level 40 mesmer and have not been to any instances yet.

now i know that this is not like quite the kind of profile what every guild is looking for… but i am wondering if there is a guild that accepts this kind of players and that would offer me to join the group when hunting events, doing wvw and maybe even some structured pvp if a team is one person short. I guess it needs to be a rather big guild because there should be people in all kind of levels online most of the time.

well, if anyone has an advice let me know. so far the game still works for me, i just ask groups of similar level people if i can join them, when i see them rooming my area … just looking if there are better options out there. i am looking for an european server.

maybe an even more newbee question: how do i get to sPvP and wPvP ?
do i travel some where or do i go there via the menue ?

and how do u find yor sPvP team ? what options do you have ?

as here is winter, i would like to continue to level in an area that looks like warm, summer and sunshine.
any suggestions and maybe also how to get there (when i entered the 15-25 level, i entered it from the 25 side … which was not the wisest decision. so i thought this time i better ask for help.
