Anyone else think that the Mordrem Menders look like corrupted gargoyles?
I doubt they are, since gargoyles are supposed to be extinct, but their animations really remind me of gargoyles from GW1.

I totally agree! Especially the animations are exactly the ones from the gargoyles/mergoyles from GW1!

Could simply be content recycling though…

not sure if its been posted before? really?
we usually get 2 PVEers posting the same “i want past pvp rewards” thread each day!

As I stated, I used the forum’s search, and by the use of several related terms not one thread regarding this topic would pop up. If there are other threads about that, I’d be happy being pointed to them.

i’m glad there are still (very few) past items that haven’t been recycled, they’re usually a highlight in MMOs for me but Anet tend to barf them back in to circulation and make them stupidly easy to obtain…
cough LS S1 laurel vendor. cough

I’m not saying that they should be easy to obtain. Personally I would also be fine if they would stay skins which can only be obtained by PvP. My point is however that they are completly unaccessable right now and not just very difficult to obtain.

Greetings everyone.

First of all: I am not sure, if this topic came up already in the past (it would actually surprise me if not), however I used the forum’s search and didn’t find an appropriate thread.

So what is it about? Most of you will know that prior to the introduction of the wardrobe, one could use and get a different set of armor/weapons in/from sPvP. Since the wardrobe-system made this functionality obsolete, it was removed.

It was replaced of course by the PvP Reward Tracks, which still allow to get skins (and even other stuff) from PvP.

However, there are skins which were only accessable as PvP-Reward or by using the PvP-Mystic Forge (like for instance the tribal armor set) and which are not covered by the reward tracks.

I really like the new system and think it is a great improvement to the old one. However I think it is a bit sad that these old skins are now unaccessable to new players or players who didn’t manage to unlock them prior to the update. You can still find them in the wardrobe-tab of your bank.

So here is my question: Will they find their way back into the game? I mean, this is content that is already there but only unaccessable. The simplest – but also cheesiest – way would be to just plop a vendor for these forgoten skins. Another way might be to make them accessable through following the LS. It would also be thinkable to add them to an new or existing reward track in sPvP.

What do you think? Would this be something you’d like to see?

I already did, the problem: everyone who goes onto that map, gets the same problem.

As far as I can tell it is a problem with the server with the ip 206.127.159.142, others were working fine until now…

Same problem here: occurs while traveling from LA to Lornar’s Pass and reoccurs on attempt to relog onto the character. Logging onto other characters is working just fine, but when trying to get onto Lornar’s Pass, it happens again.

I also created a support ticket.

Well, since my server (Miller’s Sound) seems to have given up, it appears that I will have to give up too.
During the last few days only a group of maybe 10-20 people were participating in an unorganized chaos and the TS-channel was abandoned. Guesting on another server might be an option, but honestly I see no point there to do server-hopping only to perform an event. Maybe over the weekend it will be possible to get 80+ people again…
It’s quite a pitty because I really think the basic design idea behind the overhaul was promising, but I believe this isn’t what ANet intended to happen.
