Same!! No game still after an hour. Finally was able to get into forum

WHY DOES THIS BUG KEEP REAPPEARING??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Returning player from original beta here. When HoT was announced months ago i got a new acc and did VoD on 2 of my chars before it was patched to be soloable. No issues. Then after the patch i tried doing it on another 80 and it took me like 10 restarts over the course of 3 days to finally get the cannons operational!!!

Now three months after the “fix” this crap is broken again????!!!!!!!! OMG!!! i usually dont rage, but it’s so ffffffffffffffffffkn unnoying to go though 3 godkitten orbs and watch all that unskippable idiocy just to see if the ship is magically unstuck!!!!!!!!!

ANET, CAN WE GET SOME STABLE FIXES RATHER THAN CONCENTRATING ON GETTING MORE F2P FODDER IN GAME????!!!!

Was able to complete this shortly after yesterday’s patch around 10pm est, even though patch notes didnt mention anything regarding this matter.

Has anybody been able to complete Victory or Death since yesterday’s release Jun 23 12pm EST?

For the 4th time in a row, after getting the 3 orbs and boarding the ship, the progression gets suck at:
Rytlock Brimstone: A good death…but too soon.

Afaik Vandem is supposed to interrupt but she doesnt. (Captain Vandem: Sorry to interrupt, but we’ve sighted gigantic minions of Zhaitan up ahead!)

Ship is in the position of the first 3 huge risen giants on the right. PS progress is at “Keep watch for Orrian forces as the airship advances”.

I tried relogging, rebooting, and unsuccessfully looking for a group.

This is holding up my progress!!!

I personally LOVED the idea of getting beta access as a drop worth a generous 25 silver, but HATED the fact that it could only drop in SW/DT!!! It’s very original, hasnt been done in any other mmo, the usual ANet innovation

I was basically forced to play my only lvl 80 char, a ranger not less, for 4 days straight in the same area (cause let’s face it, DT sucks), until i got my mail. I was bored kittenless!!

I would absolutely love to get access to other betas/events via a drop, but imho it should be either world wide, or different map every day, even if lvl 80 only.

But i was under impression that if you run too far from the mob you were hitting it resets your right to any of the loot.

Ie top right of map is fighting a vet that takes 2 mins. You hit the vet, say, 3 times and run all the way to bottom left of map and stay there for 2 mins. After vet dies, does the corpse still have your loot, provided you get there on time to loot it?

After 3 days of farming SW i all of a sudden got in game mail with anet emblem titled Portal to the Heart of Thorns iirc, saying that i got into beta. I heard ppl getting these mails as long as the portal item drops but you dont actually have to loot the item. I ran around retracing my steps to see if i missed any loot but i didnt… So i have the mail that is 100% legitimate, but i dont have the portal item or the 25 silver it comes with

So, can an Anet rep please comment on this situation. Does me getting a mail mean that i missed my loot somewhere, or does anet give out beta access without portal drop, or maybe even without being in SW or DT now?

Also, if something similar or weird portal/beta related happen to anyone else, please post here
