Am also facing the random spikes of lag. I live in Middle East and i doubt it is the ISP. since the day they started the F2P and this lag nightmare started.
I have raised a ticket with A-net Tech Support and all what they did is trying to troubleshoot my end.
I can understand that they will start with my end first, but when I sent them eveidence that it is their end that is having the porblem they still insisted to continue on assuming it is my end :/ . So I doubt that they will ever believe it is their side that is facing the issues.

But all of this started just after they launched the F2P, I’ve been playing the game since it’s launch in 2012, never faced any issues like this.

Its been horrible. I opened a ticket and all what am getting is “uninstall anti-virus, disable firewall, remove this, do that” all except to be honest and tell me they are facing technical issues and that they are working on it. I’ve been playing the game since they launched it and never ever faced any issues except after the F2P. but yesterday night I noticed some improvement so I hope the problem have been solved.

Same here. ever since they started the free-to-play and the game is not playable at all. facing massive lag spikes, Game keeps Disconnecting if am doing intense activity like fractals, if I login the game takes forever to load. I hope they start to address these issues, so far I dont see any acknowledgment from their side about facing such issues
