The direct effect of this change will be farm process avoiding the last boss ^^.
I would love to get 30 tokens without encountering Giganticus or the Legendary searing effigy xD. There is a more simple way to do this -> Nerf endway bosses…
There was plenty of solutions to prevent players from overfarming Arah. Blocking the way to the jumping puzzle, putting the tokens as a reward for the last boss, making the boss more difficult, implementing a decreasing reward curve.
What Anet did ? It putted all those solutions together when just 1 was enough and now we have broken dungeon achievement.

Hi all,
I wanted to write the same post but it is already there. First of all, Massacrul you are a kind of big troll to say that. There is absolutely no tactics to figure for the legendary effigy. Crea says “try to destroy the crystals to weaken the effigy then maybe we can kill it”. This phrase is priceless since this is the only way to fail -).
To kill the effigy, you need a team of ultra dps and rush the big guy and burst him. There is no tactics in this at all. I tried every combination I am right now at my 10th hour of game against this only boss and my best try was a 1% wipe (crystal fall + flamethrower -)).
I am for hard content as long as they improve the skills of the player but what is absolutely not arguable is that the legendary seering effigy is a complete fail from the dev team. To be doable and apply a so-called “tactics” Anet need to lower the apparition rate of the crystals and to put some timegap between the zone marker and falling damage of the crystals. But at the moment this is not even funny, oooh wait is not a game supposed to be funny ? ^^
Just wen to the chantry and it solve the problem. Apparently even if you already went to the chantry (it was my faction so my case), I have to go in again to get the reward (2 explorer gifts)
Hello,
I just finished all maps completion, I have the title and the achievement “been there, done that”. The problem is that I never recieved any ingame mails from the explorers and so no reward items for legendaries.
How can I recieve those rewards ?
thank you for your time.
Please stop kicking players from WvWvW when they are experiencing crashes. You admitted there is a hardware problem making players crashed. In the end, for those players, the monthly achievement is impossible to get (need invader kills) and WvWvW experiences is more about waiting then playing.
The citadel of flame is completely bugged as the manor a few days ago. When groups want to go into it, they are just seperated or blocked at the portal wether or not you succeeded the event to gain its access.
I am on Vizunah Square.
I had crashes with an Anet boxes after the crash to report my bug and the details of the bug. I just go to youtube play a random vids → right click → settings → uncheck acceleration 3D.
I have no crash since 11.00 am but I will wait few more hours to see if it solves the problem.
Now the crash WITH Anet report option is apparently solved. I still have the problem of screen freeze with audioloop. The only option left for me is shutting down the process through Task manager. That way I can not generate any bug report or crash log since the game is “not responding” and none Anet bug report frame appear.
Hi,
I am a player on Vizunah Square and I just found 2 major bugs on the map “Firehear Rise”. First of all, the skill point just North of Havoc waypoint is active but unachievable. The event is launched but the Tribune is not there.
Second of all, the citadel of flame is completely bugged as the manor a few days ago. When groups want to go into it, they are just seperate or blocked at the portal wether or not you succeded the event to gain its access.
A final general thought about this map; there is a lot of invisible wall, in a MMO like GW2 where the maps are simple rectangles I was thinking I could go everywhere on the maps. This was true most of the time but for “Fireheart Rise” I feel like in GW1 travelling little zones, following predefinite paths included in a big map. This for me remove a lot freedom.
Something Anet should say in the TP is that you have to sell above the listing fee. There is a lot of players selling at 1 pc beyond the merchant price but with the first 5% and the next 10% fee they just lose money. If they did not get it, I do not care, they just had to be careful but the other players who wanted to make little profits are not able to use the TP at its full potential.
New crash when I tried to teleport out of LA :
PS : STOP merging my posts in fps threads I have NO FPS’ problem.
Attachments:
So I was saying I am not experiencing that much crashes anymore but it is not true.
Actually I crashed most of the time because I want to teleport to a waypoint. within a map I can port more than between map.
I guess this is the source of the crashes. For the freeze and audioloop (with as only solution the use of task manager) without the “report to Anet” frame I do not find a common pattern. But for the crashes this is defenitely because I want to teleport.

New crash for out of memory.
Does not have much yesterday and today I came from 10 crashes to 3 crashes a day but still waiting the end of the day to be sure -).
here is the bug report ;

Merging FPS problems with crashes problem ?? I can not get it ? Some people are posting specs with hey fps drop in here and others hey random crashes in here ?…
Is there any links between those two ?
Whatsoever, I have to note that I do not think this is a W7 32bits problem since I have a friend with nearly the same specs than me (videocards and motherboard change but same memory and W7 settings).
To sum up, I have random crashes like 10~times a day with “out of memory” as primary message. Then I changed the settings of memory usage and finaly I still have crash but with this message :
—> Crash <—
Assertion: (m_dims.x == highResDims.x >> 1) && (m_dims.y == highResDims.y >> 1)
File: ..\..\..\Engine\Gr\Dx9\Dx9Tex.cpp(1153)
I would like to have an official answer like : We are aware and working on it or we know where it comes from and we try to fix it.
For now the only thing I see is that the forum is up for players to find solutions for other players…
Crashing again here is my bug report, thought I was able to waive this problem but obviously not. I tried all I saw here still buggy

Guild Wars 2 (gw2.exe) also crashes/hangs on me about once an hour. Like others, it’s most often while porting or in Lion’s Arch. The game hangs with an audio loop but I am always able to kill it with Task Manager and relaunch it.
My ArenaNet log identifies the crash most often as Out of Memory. I compared my log with others that were due to Out of Memory and the following code dump was practically identical:
0063DD94 e8178eff ff8b4d14 8b95ecfe ffff83c4 ……M………

0063DDE4 cccccccc cccccccc cccccccc 8b0db812 …………….So there is either a bug in the above code or it points to the underlying problem. Is it trying to load textures or something that allocates video memory? I ask this because my video card and the others with the same error and code dump had no more than 1024 MB of video memory.
I had exactly the same problem, like porting out of a map or in LA I had crashes. If not I had randomly audio loop and frame freeze with as only option the task manager.
I solve my problem of “out of memory” by applying custom settings of memory use. But then I had another crashe like :
Assertion: (m_dims.x == highResDims.x >> 1) && (m_dims.y == highResDims.y >> 1)

I had the same problems, like the “out of memory” crashes, I just putted my memory setting to custom settings via Panel control -> System -> Advanced system settings -> advanced -> Performance -> settings.
I did not experienced any “out of memory” crashes when suddenly this appear :
