Looking for an experienced Warrior.

We are currently looking for full-time Chronomancers. If you main Chrono and can make our raid times, we are willing to be lenient on some of the requirements on the application form. You will still be subject to and expected to pass the standard trial required for all apps regardless of your raiding experience. So if you’re a Chrono without much Spirit Vale time and eager to show you can learn fast with a serious group of players, feel free to post an app.

Our current priorities when it comes to trialing apps are Chronomancer and Herald, but we will trial any app that looks promising.

About [Apex]
We are a group of veteran raiders from all over the MMO market with a long history of top tier boss kills in games like EverQuest, Rift, SWTOR, and WoW. We run fractals and spvp regularly outside of raid time, but the main focus is clearing raid content in a timely manner.

Raid Start Times
Friday 8pm EST – Full clear
Saturday 7pm EST – Reclear for raiders who had to sit or were absent
Sunday 7pm EST – Cleanup day for any kills raiders are missing/magnetite capping/guild missions

Guild leadership runs raids almost daily to trial new apps or play with alts. If you’re on and want to raid, chances are we will put something together. The only required raiding times are listed above.

What we expect
Show up on time and ready. We keep a small roster for a reason, and expect all raiders to be reliable.
Perform. We 100000000% absolutely will NOT carry you. Poor performance will result in replacement. We all make mistakes but repeat fails on mechanics are a no-go. Even leadership can find themselves riding the bench for multiple goofs.
Gear. We require you have your core items ascended. If you’re missing a couple of armor pieces we can work with that based on performance.
Experience. Currently we are only accepting applicants with the Eternal title.
Have fun. It’s a game. Enjoy it, but play well. There are 9 other people who rely on you to do your part so everyone has a good time. We like to clear content without having to turn elitist jerk mode on.

Bump and update: Vale Guardian and Gorseval down with a little experience on Sabetha. I have no issues killing orbs on Gorseval as Tempest. Again I am looking for a disciplined group, preferably with raiding experience from previous MMOs. Please contact me in game.

Allow me to preface this by saying I do know that necromancers have some stigma about them in PvE, but hey that’s the class I enjoy. Anyway…

I’m a hardcore raider by every definition. I started raiding in 2004 with EverQuest 2. During my time playing EQ2 I’ve been a part of several world first kills, did the ‘wake up at 3am to kill xxxx contested mob’ thing, and pretty much everything else you’d expect from top end guilds there. Since then I’ve been part of server-first guilds in Rift, WoW, and SWTOR. I am looking for a well structured, serious raiding guild now in Guild Wars 2.

I’ve played GW2 off and on since launch. I started on Henge of Denravi playing with Condemned, the leading guild of the Titan Alliance. I’ve taken a few lengthy breaks from the game since then, but now I’m back to high play time with Heart of Thorns. My play times are flexible and I take raid attendance as seriously as work attendance, meaning unless I am basically dying I’ll be on.

My gear is full ascended. I am running full celestial armor and trinkets with zerker weapons (greatsword/staff) and backpiece for open world and WvW shenanigans, but have no problems reforging stats for raids as needed. I’d like to play a power build until ascended Viper’s trinkets get implemented, but if absolutely necessary I can play condi.

I only expect a few simple things from a guild I represent. First and foremost is maturity and mutual respect for one another as top end players and the mindset to help one another succeed, rather than ego getting in the way of progression. Secondly is minimal drama. I like to log in and kill bosses, not read the script of a Jerry Springer episode in guild chat or listen to it in Teamspeak. Same issue here, just missing the cache to finish Dark Harvest with multiple Magus Falls maps completed.

People with 100% map completion for Tyria zones are not getting rewards for completing expansion maps. Notice the missing Necromancer’s Cache from map completion in the weapon collection, even though I have completed 2.

1, he was about to get zerged

2, he realized u weren’t worth the effort being that he did a 10k backstab.

so i guess consider it lucky he saved u 3s? i personally wouldnt but yeah. I’m also pretty sure i know who ur talking about to, with it being a thief and all, and no he doesn’t usually run from zergs, in fact i see him run into zergs for a couple kills and get out almost all the time.

I wasn’t aware IoJ had zergs in their own BL at 6am. Also considering he tried multiple times I’m going to assume you’re just blindly defending your friend. I even admitted I may have lost the encounter, if there was even an encounter to have. I swapped back to condi and he tried once more and then I never saw him again. Shocker. I just wanted to duel, /shrug.

I never bashed anyone. I just said it was boring. I run away from the zergs to have smaller fights because that’s what I find fun. I have no idea who Basic even is, but apparently you all think pretty highly of yourselves. There were 2 warriors from your guild today in IoJ BL (with their snazzy legendaries) that actually fought people. Was fun.

What are you playing that takes 10k backstabs but doesn’t die in 18.5k damage? O.o

I was on my necro trolling around with full zerker gear. I probably would’ve even lost the fight had he stuck around because power necro is awful.
