Perhaps a trait that replaces the F# abilities that detonate a turret with a targeted pull of the corresponding turret? Detonating would then be done by interacting (right click / F) on a turret, and ‘picking up’ a turret would no longer be an option… since that’s useless anyway :P
Picking up your turrets reduce its cooldown..
I would love a rifle for thieves.
But the whole system is for thieves to dual wield.
There is far to little ‘assassin’ like armor in this game.
All the medium armor are coats. Female have one set of armor that actually looks assassin-like.

I like the coats on my engineer, cause its fitting.
But as a stealth assassin, its kinda obnoxious and cripples my immersion.
I could understand there being sets that give the Swasbuckler or duelist style look, but i was really hoping there was something more fitting to someone who wants to be assassin like.
How are people comparing monarch’s leap with swoop?
Monarch’s Leap isn’t a gap closer, its an avoidance ability.
With Swoop, you close the gap between a target up to 1100 range.
Monarch’s Leap doesn’t close any gaps because you already have to be at the position to begin with. It just jumps you out for AoE and takes you back in afterwards.
This happens alot to me aswell and its getting obnoxious.
I do have the thief targetted when he leaves stealth, but remains invisble and the target marker on the floor is stationairy until a few seconds where the thief becomes visible and the target marker follows him.
RNG is such garbage.
Its like all game developers are standing in line, watching one after another fall into the snake pit. Instead of jumping over it, they walk into it aswell.
RNG was removed or atleast diminished in other games for a reason.
I just love the rifle.
Get up close and personal, net shot so they can’t run, Blunderbuss for damage and bleeds, Rocket kick to add a burn, with damage traits i get massive damage out of Jump Shot and then just knock em back with Overcharged Shot.
It keeps em down for like 3 seconds while having multiple bleeds, burn and vulnerability eating at them.
I kinda like the rifle because it is up close and personal. I usually prefer melee, but i just love the “engineer” feel.
I can maintain very high damage with some good survivability and escapes.
So you have no points in inventions or alchemy and are complaining about dying fast as a glass cannon?
Also, you’re not max level and complaining about dying to 80’s in full berserker gear?
I was asking for help and advice, not a tired rhetoric of (you can’t play don’t complain)
Also you say
you have no points in inventions or alchemy
Care to be more specific? As that would actuallybe constructive and helpfull.
Each trait line improves different stats by 10 per point spent in the trait line.
Explosives improves Power and Condition Duration
Firearms improves Precision and Condition Damage
Inventions Toughness and Healing
Alchemy gives Vitality and Boon Duration
Tools gives Crit damage and Toolbelt recharge rate.
If you put all your points in Explosives and Firearms you’re sacrificing a huge amount of survivability.
Aside from those stat boosts, Alchemy and Inventions also have several traits that boost your survivability aswell.
Only improving your damage will get you killed really fast.
How to counter hundred blade warriors and heartseeker theives in a defensive position as a conditionmancer
in PvP

quickness + hundred blades garbage is getting annoying.
I only find the Medium Armor lacking, Everything is a huge coat. Theres hardly any leather chest pieces that just cover the chest instead of everything.
You do realise it grants 3 seconds of Fury for each block of Adrenaline right?
The F1 for the GS isn’t about the initial damage, you get 9seconds of 20% additional crit.
I’ve never been 2 shot as a ranger, not even close to that. If anything i hardly ever die.
You need a better build, just aiming for Precision, Power and Crit damage isn’t the way to go. Toughness, Healing and Vitality are very important in PvP.
the ability “Protect Me” shout is also incredibly powerful as a survival cooldown.
I’m running with a 0/20/30/10/10 Build that makes me tough and improves both GS and Longbow recharge times. I have multiple knockbacks (number 4 skill on both weapons).
This build gives you the capability to survive and deal significant damage.
