one of my best commander moments was when i wiped WSR and took the keep from vabbi

This matchup is honestly boring, I thought playing against a different server for a while would be fun and well the only fun I’ve had all week is running around EB with my Guild Kite.

I’m sorry to say but even playing against BT & AS was more enjoyable.

I can see why some players from WSR moved to vabbi for the week, they wanted to earn some WXP, and I guess thats alright, as being on such an underdog server all you can do is capture stuff.

it takes time to convince FoW’kers to get down from the wall and start busting some heads.
but when they do you better start running.

i see lots of warriors and guardians on FoW.
maybe the reason u see lots of thieves is because i am a thief and i commanded yesterday in FoW BL.
and in this morning in FoW BL.

vabbi messing with our camps while we mess with WSR zerg
and even had the nerv capping a tower with a wall we broke
FoW demands retribution

i really really enjoyed today when FoW took SM while vabbi and blacktide were fighting in inner.
one of the best moments caught on camera. expect a youtube link.
and im going to add how we wiped vabbi in bravost.
really vabbi should be ashamed of themself trying to take stuff from us in our BL while we are trying to hold off BT in EB and then let your “visitors” do your dirty work while we are sleeping and teaming with BT against us. right now vabbi tick 320(and leading in the scoreboard) good for you vabbi

xD There was 8 of us attacking SM, we had 1 ram on each gate so it isn’t suprising a zerg of 30~ would kill us. Also working with BT because we use you and BT fighting to take a tower doesn’t add up It’s called using you guys as a distraction. And thanks we get beaten by a server with double our numbers and another with triple if not more of our numbers. Nice to be getting some success even during the day!

xD There’s a good reason for that, when you guys outnumber us 2:1 (if not more) and BT outnumber us like 3:1 (if not more) of course we’ll lose everything, I don’t think you understand the difference between FoW and us let alone BT So when the BT zerg comes to us there isn’t much we can do

except for those who have jumped around servers quite a bit, server loyalty is always quite strong.
Despite jumping around a few different servers… WSR, FS, SFR, IoJ, NS and now RoS… I did have quite a bit of loyalty towards SFR and it was only because my loyalty to the guild was stronger that I left. So I fully understand where Vabbi and FoW players are coming from and I think we can all respect their choice and dedication.

Perhaps we don’t quite understand why people would put server loyalty above personal game experience and perhaps the loyalty is to the guild rather than the server (in which case just discuss as a guild) but I think that all those on RoS who stayed to fight can express their admiration to Vabbi and FoW players for their commitment and effort.

I confess after start up night, I spent 19 gold upgrading everything on Vabbi bl thinking it would be a safe investment for the week… Within hours of logging off everything was lost at least once and it was an expensive lesson well learned. Good job Vabbi!!!!

I have not had much chance to fight against FoW because I have been enjoying the fights against Vabbi. I was part of the three people on eb on early sunday morning that destroyed the FoW omega golems but only after they had managed to take back their corner of the map. But apart from that and the odd camp capper I encountered, most of my fights have been with Vabbi and LNA has stood out the best of those, WvW have given some good fights but some awful ones too. The rest have been a mixed bag of good and bad. I was caught out a few times while soloing but its been quite enjoyable.

I am still a little annoyed that I did not realise that you had ninja’d garrison yesterday, if I had not moved then you would have gone right by me… instead you learned my new mesmer hiding spot… I was engrossed in calculating how much our guild needed to raise each month to keep its private spvp arena going indefinite. However, I particularly liked when you were chasing me near the tower and I took you to the edge of the cliff, decoy’d back and let you pass me then pushed you over the top. Wish I had filmed that. Made me feel happy after my error in garrison.

im sorry i didnt film the part when RoS were defending garrison 2 days ago and FoW mesmers pulled like 20(?) of you down the cliff to your death from the NW corner where u wanted to get our siege

too bad i didnt film the spawn camp FoW gave BT today or the BT zerg wipe in SM

at the end of the day when every one of the wvw players were tired after non stop BT crushing for over 10 hours we lost SM langor and bravost and our keep
(i disconnected after it too tired to continue playing)
but let me show you our prime time
after spawn camping BT crushing their zerg over and over and over…and over
this score was 445 (im sure it got higher but i dont have the proof)

and because of their numbers and mobility you dont even stand a chance at getting it. ever.

Vabbi are crushed and drowned under the numbers of arborstone
FoW cant hold the pressure for too long and can barely fight or defend more then one front(or gate) not fair + not fun

this matchup sucks being overrun and stomped by arborstone everytime all over again only makes us want to move to another server.
many have already left including 5 commanders that i know of…
maybe put a queue on our borderland at least so we can DEFEND it?
so many attackers and so few defenders cant do us any good.

after Stiv explanation i think i understand why
though stealth from CnD and Hide in Shadows seems shorter maybe its all in my head

I noticed Shadow Refuge total stealth time is 10 seconds now instead of 12 seconds.
and other stealth skills have less 1 second of stealth like CnD and Hide in Shadows
any confirmation?

the skill pulses 4 times that in the end you have 12 seconds of stealth.
i logged in this morning and i saw that the skill stealth only for 10 seconds
+ i have trait “Meld with Shadows”.
is it bugged? is it nerfed?
