Why the heck are rewards that relevant? They are nothing special. To be honest having fun (a fair fight) is a much better goal to have. Having weeks on end of no wvw fun because enemies can’t put up a fight or simply don’t show up is anything but enjoyable.

Just a little extra help – whatever you do, don’t get too close to her when you stomp because she interrupts you. This is why the majority of people fails this achievement.

Guild wars 2 is a game that launched back in august of 2012. What i remember thinking from back then wasn’t the glitches and bugs that all games have but the amount of content it had. The game brought tons of maps right from the start, spvp arenas, wvw and dungeons. For me, it’s quest delivery system was a treat and the gameplay was very different from usual trinity and fun.
For all of this I paid 50€.
After launch they worked on fixing bugs, changing what needed to be changed, improving here and there to make the game work better. Changes like the achievement points menu and the wallet were most welcomed.

But the content never stopped and since the beginning they added:
-Halloween’s Mad King
-Wintersday
-Fractals
-Spirit watch spvp map
-New Guild content (bounty, rush, upgrades, etc)
-Super Adventure Box 1 and 2
-Southsun Cove map
-Crab toss activity
-Dragon bash with moa racing woot
-Bazaar of the Four Winds and new aetherblade retreat dungeon
-wvw ranks
-Belcher’s Bluff activity
-Sanctum sprint activity
-Skyhammer spvp map
-Southsun survival activity
-Queen’s Jubilee (Crown pavilion, one of my favourites)
-Clockwork Chaos (scarlet invades)
-Tequatl boss
-New Twilight Arbor path
-wvw season
-Tower of nightmares instance
-Origins of madness worm and marionette bosses
-New skins, minis, armour, weapons

This provided loads of new pve and some new interest for spvp and wvw (although you clearly favour pve anet…why u no love pvp? whyyyyy?)

For all of this extra stuff I paid….0€!

Personally I like wvw. Albeit it being the same thing over and over again, grabbing the same keeps and towers, it is pvp, it is not scripted and situations are always new. I get to have small fights, medium fights, zerg fights and blobs fights and it’s all different. So I keep doing it. I do some daily spvp and it’s also fun and different every time. You get to try out builds and different characters.

Bottom line, I’ve got 2000+ hours into this game that I paid 50€ for and they keep putting out stuff. In my view, they owe me nothing so I’ll ask for nothing and will happily take whatever else they decide to add to the game.

Anet screwed up with this. There’s some mistake in the code clearly. There’s no reason to make this work so poorly and be so hard to obtain. The freaking corruption doesn’t appear most of the time and afaik it shows up on champs after like 5minutes or even more, sometimes not at all. Most of these get killed before it appears so it all gets reset somehow. It makes no sense how this works. Why do it like this anet? WHY?!?

Vabbi & WvW - make it playable for us?

This is a numbers game. Fow, vabbi and whiteside are all on the low pop side. The season idea specially hurt these 3 servers because they can’t stand against any other server.
The only matchup that makes sense is to have those 3 which happened a lot more frequently before.
Personally I like the fact that those 3 servers are low in pop because you get to have plenty of small group fights instead of the 100 vs 100 vs 100 zerg lag fest. I’m just sorry that I have to wait so long to get that again.

We gamers can be quite demanding at times and often unfair. We always want stuff, asap and we think we’re always right
But in all honesty, in the case of the legendaries, I believe the players are right.
This ultimate goal, is very VERY hard to get. It’s time consuming. Some that have had their legendaries for a while now and have probably forgotten how much farming it required.

Skins are one thing. People will like them or they won’t but the animations are there for some weapons and not for others. Players clearly see the difference. It’s nice to have trails and footsteps, it’s a clear identification of a legendary weapon. You want people to notice and with the zoomed out views most people use, it’s never clear. Animations and effects are the best way to reward the player’s efforts.

Does Anet agree with us that they left some legendaries out to dry? I don’t know. Because, let’s be honest, after an entire year since the game has been out, they haven’t done anything to fix it. They have however put out loads of new skins, models, quests, etc. If they wanted to do it, they would and they have had plenty of time.

It is sad, but alas, not the end of the world.

Scepter - Smite

The scepter is a viable option for ranged combat for the guardian.
I was just curious regarding the 2nd ability – Smite.

Why does smite announce 15 blows but doesn’t always hit? This makes it’s damage less than it should be. I’d understand if the opponent was moving away from the cast area, but if the enemy is standing still, why don’t all blows hit? It’s base damage is around 15×450 in some 3seconds. Nothing that OP so why don’t have all blows hit the target if it’s not moving?

A 2nd question, why isn’t this ability a proper area attack? I’ll explain. You cast the ability on the ground and if an enemy is in that small area it gets hit. If several enemies are in that area, they all get hit but, you don’t get extra damage as you should from an area attack, instead, if you have say 5enemies standing still in that small area, and you get say 10 hits, you’ll have damaged each one for some 800-1000hp over 3 seconds….wow. Even regen abilities easily nulify this. It actually is better for the enemy to have more people in the area of the attack to distribute the damage. This is not how area attacks should work.

If this were a proper area attack, you might see some 4k on each target, given that they stayed in that small area (which is not OP, it’s a small area, easy to move off of it) and yet it would make the ability a bit more useful.

What’s the downside to having this attack perform like a proper area attack? It basically works like Lava Font (Elementalist) where that skill does about 4×1000 with a 4-5sec CD. But that skill hits all that are near it!

Please give us a finder. It’s the right thing to do. I’m sure you have tools to check these things. Look at the numbers and see how many are doing dungeons right now.
Put up a poll somewhere asking “Do you do dungeons?”
Yes all the time.
I would if I didn’t have to spam chat and wait for hours.
I don’t because i don’t like them.

See where the responses land. I have done like 1 dungeon so far. I think about hanging around LA having to read the spam looking for the dungeon i need that has no one looking for it and then there’s story and explo….this is so frustrating i end up doing something else.
How can this not be a priority? I think you even added dungeon to the monthly because your numbers were showing people weren’t doing that content enough and you want it to boost it?
Seriously, do a poll and find out what we the players think.

I confirm the bug. About the reason, why would they disable it? You get like 2 pieces of eq. You can only do it once a day and even if u could do it multiple times, the time it takes to get the keys…there’s better ways to earn 20silver which is more or less what you get from the vault in siege eq

Another way to do it (easier?) is to go down jumping and letting yourself get “downed”. After you rally you won’t be teleported and can kill and plug as normal.
Remember to dodge the red circles (catapult) though.
