A: Very feasible. You need to run some guild missions first to gain enough favor to run the expedition. You should be able to get enough favor in the first week but if not definitely the second week.

So my question is more along the lines of what size guild is this example coming from?

How much favor will it cost to start a Guild Hall Expedition? And also how much favor do the Guild Missions in the new system give towards this?

I’m trying to get a committed date for my guild to go through the expedition together but without knowing how much favor is required I can’t get them a solid decision on this until after launch.

Hello!

A little background: I’m on Tarnished Coast and run a 30 person guild. We do Guild Missions with 15 people every Thursday night.

I thought that with the new megaserver technology we would have a huge issue with other guilds from other servers polishing off all the bounties before my small little guild to get to the bounty. I did not run into that last night, which was a pleasant surprise.

However what I did run into was a lack of guild member priority via the megaserver system. We were in maps such as Lornar’s Pass, Dredgehaunt Cliffs, etc. and had EXTREME issues with trying to get all oour members onto the same instance of the map. None of these maps appeared to be “full”, however we had to drop parties and re-add people and wait a solid 3-4min before we could start the bounty that we found because of having to make sure all of our members were on the same map. This is a HUGE inconvenience to guilds and guild missions. I have no clue how larger guilds can manage this, but we as a 15 person guild struggled with it.

We’re still in search of a few more active players to join our ranks!

Wayward Blade [WB] is a casual/social guild with a diverse group of core members spread mostly across the US and also some in Europe. We like to PvE, PvP, WvW, Raid and occasionally some of us enjoy some light RP. We have all of our core guild upgrades unlocked and we’re making pretty good progress on our Guild Hall which we claimed in October of 2015. We have been around since beta testing for GW2 and started back then on the Tarnished Coast server. While the vast majority of our members call TC home, we have numerous members on other servers and have no requirement regarding home server.

Wayward Blade is, first and foremost, a casual guild. We value the following attributes in our members:

*Social Integrity

If you’re looking for a guild with mandatory meetings, mandatory events, and a complex command structure, this is not the guild for you. We all have lives outside of GW2 and we know that you do too. Most of us are working full time jobs, full time students, have kids to take care of, etc. This is what motivates us to be a casual guild.

We also strive to be a social guild. We do expect our members to talk to each other in-game, on the forums, in Discord (our VoiP), or all three. We periodically organize Guild Events (missions, dungeons, fractals, etc), and EVERYONE is welcome to participate. Most of our members will drop everything they are doing to come join you in any part of Tyria to hang/help out.

We consider ourselves a medium sized guild meaning that we like to be big enough to experience all of the game’s content, but small enough that no one gets lost in the crowd. While the size of the guild may fluctuate, this will never be a guild with hundreds of active members. We currently have around 75members who are active on a daily basis but have a roster of 300 members. We have people that come and go so we don’t instill any sort of pressure to remain active.

Our code of conduct is simple:
Be respectful. We have members from all walks of life, and though we are a pretty laid-back group, slurs based on race, sexuality, etc, will not be tolerated.
Be a good online citizen. Represent what the guild stands for and have integrity.

Stuck on Tarnished Coast as well. Need the map completion!!!

Before I get into this, I want to note that the following suggestions are EXTREMELY unimportant in the grand scheme of things. There are so many other suggestions/bugs/issues that affect a much larger subset of humans that should be prioritized above the following suggestion…

That being said, I think that there are a lot of potential improvements regarding the customization of the in-game music. What we’ve been given so far is an absolutely appropriate and satisfactory option in the mean time (the adding of a playlist via folder etc.), but it can absolutely go so much deeper than that.

We all love Jeremy Soule.

It’s just a fact. I personally have had a mad man crush on him since 2005 when I first started playing Guild Wars 1. That continued as I discovered all of his music from the Elder Scrolls games (Oblivion, Morrowwind, Syrim, etc.) and has escalated even more with the launch of GW2 a month ago.

All I want is a way to play this music as it’s appropriate by race.

I find myself identifying certain songs as appropriate by race and I think that this should be implemented in-game via making race specific folders. Example:

CharrAmbient
CharrBattle
CharrBossBattle
etc.

That way, as i’m running around as my Charr, those playlists will activate for me. I think this would be exponentially easier than creating a specific list per map…which would just be completely illogical to try and maintain.

Thoughts?

Also, would it be feasible to get a list of the default setup of those folders? I.E. which songs from both GW1 and GW2 play in the Ambient, Nighttime, Underwater folders that come with GW2 out of the box?
