I made a thread previously about leveling in WvW which was of HUGE help. I’ve been having tons of fun and leveling much faster than I expected (1-59 in three days, not displeased at all).
My server has a TeamSpeak that they use for WvW. I’ve been listening in on it as I learn, and I understand most of what is said. However, there are some things I do not understand. Unfortunately, the /Map chat in my WvW responds VERY negatively to new players asking questions.
——————————
1. “Jump on them!”- I thought this meant to push into the fight, but I see some people literally jump forward faster than I can move. Is there some mechanic they use to literally jump forward?
2. Calling for “Stab”- No idea what this means. They call out ‘Stab 1!’, ‘Stab 2!’. I assume the 1/2 is their group number in the squad, but what is stab?
3. “Hit the ac!” – This is the only target call I’m not sure of so far. Don’t know what AC stands for.
4. Calling for “Bombs”- Is this just calling for the AoEs that hit hard, or is there an actual bomb you can buy with the points and throw?

So far, thats all. Thanks for the help.
you occasionally get level up tomes.
Is this earned randomly?
Thank you for the reply.
You get them at regular intervals from the reward tracks.

For example:

Thats exactly the information I needed; Thanks a lot!

I keep seeing that WvW is a great way to level.
I decided to try it out; Was having a lot of fun, got into a good zerg, and hit Rank 5 in under half an hour. Got tons of chests with loot.
But not a single point of EXP was gained? I opened every chest and container that I got, and there were no tomes either.
Is there something specific I need to do to gain experience in WvW?
I looked at the wiki page and have been trying to google, but I dont see anything other than I should just gain it when I do the objectives.
When I hold the Right Click to control my movement, it will randomly stop working. This can be after 10 seconds of using it to move, or 2 seconds.
I only have this problem in GW2.
I have tried 3 mice.
I have used 3 different USB 2.0 slots, and 2x USB 3.0.
I did a hard boot of my computer, uninstalled/reinstalled the most up-to-date mouse drivers, updated my video driver, disabled V Sync in game, literally -everything- I could think of.
Again, this is ONLY happening in GW2. WoW, GW1, LoL, SWTOR, and Minecraft all work fine with holding Right Click.
After it happens and I continue holding the click down, and drag the mouse off the Window, the mouse continues to appear as the GW2 style mouse, so it does know I’m still holding the click down (otherwise it would change back to my default if drug off the window).
PvP is nearly impossible right now, and PvE is just infuriating. ((I absolutely hate keyboard turning)).

I definitely would like this feature. When I had made my toon, I was not aware that I could use more than one word in my name, which greatly reduced my choices.
Just gonna copy/pasta straight from the program… I need a new GPU horridly.

I also had an issue at first.
Take the weapon to the basement. As you head back down, all mobs will respawn. simply spam the “1” skill to kill them easily.
Once in the basement (and all mobs are dead), target Maeva (the short red-head by the lizard).
Use your number 2 skill.
A hologram will appear, give a little speech, and then kill the lizard.
The rest is cinematics.
I ran into two problems during this step:
1. Using the skill 2 did nothing. This was fixed by standing in the middle of the room, by the table, in the speed debuff. Standing too close to Maeva did not work.
2. The skill worked, I killed the lizard, saw the cutscene, but could not progress. Once you use the skill 2, your gun ought to disappear. If you get to keep it during the lizard fight, the game glitched and you need to run the entire instance again.
