I agree with the medium armor being horrible. In fact yesterday I had some trouble choosing which next character to create. I really would like to roll a thief but the medium armor sets are really poor when compared with heavy and light sets. That’s why I’m rolling an elementalist.
Every mob have a heavy attack. These greatsword mobs happen to have a spin attack that if you don’t evade you’re pretty much dead. I never had problems with those spin attacks. You just need to back flip, wait until the spin is over and strike again. You can even switch to a ranged weapon immediately after back flipping and hit them while the spin animation is still playing.
I have collected 100g in like 1 month and I wasn’t fully dedicated and active in the game. For sure that I did a lot auction house hunting, always using the same tactic: buy cheaper, sell expensive.
True! It doesn’t seem something very complex to do though. An item to re-enter the character creation screen, yes ArenaNet? Come on I am even willing to spend real money with for this feature :P
I have created a Guardian and managed to get him level 80. I was planning getting the Arcon armor set but then I realized that I can see his beard under the awesome horned helm.
I’m not sure if this is either a problem with the character model geometry or if it is intentional. What I know for sure is that he doesn’t look evil enough and I really wanna remove the beard now.
I have looked for a way to customize my character’s face, even looked in the auction house for an item to do this, but I found nothing. I remember when I used to play Perfect World International there was a “make-up scroll” that once used allowed me to customize my character after it has been created.
Do you guys know if there’s any way to re-customize my character face or am I screwed now? I like Flame Legion Armor, but it is not really my number 1 option…
