When you edit a post two buttons appear called Edit and Cancel. It would provide a much better UX if the first one was called Save instead of Edit.

The formula you have obtained from the wiki was not provided by ArenaNet and is the result of one user’s trial and error data to get a rough calculation. If you have calculated a more accurate formula feel free to update the wiki article.
