Lol the excuses given to explain away the double teaming against HoD with an exploitative alliance with ET server, saying people are lying etc., about it, even when people from SBI openly admit to it.
Well http://www.twitch.tv/thedaz <— that guy is streaming from SBI server live and even in their chat you can see people shouting at others not to attack ET server and some (thankfully) telling them to go jump in a lake, that they won’t exploit to win. Also can see the sheer amount of vulgarity and abuse being thrown at people who attack ET server and don’t follow orders on the ET commander plants on SBI.
Was even one guy shouting at people to STOP TAKING SUPPLIES FROM DANELON SUPPLY CAMP – because they were under 50% /facepalm
Or better still, put the commander on block/ignore – very hard to condone someone buying gold to then buy the title and ego trip, or indeed demanding money from guild members or running ponzi/lotto schemes to get same.
Basically, I follow good leaders regardless of what icon is over their head or not.
I don’t understand people who bought the title who then think they deserve to be listened to over others or followed ? It’s also very misleading to new players.
However for the most part, apart from when I played on Henge, the commanders immediately get ignored and if they spam too much, they get blocked. They deserve nothing less, again, your title and icon mean absolutely nothing of any worth outside of your own delusion.
Nice to see an admission of the double teaming against HoD and the friendly pact SBI had between it and ET server.
You’ll probably get woeful abuse because of it now as it implicates many on SBI server for potentially exploitative abuse of the WvW mechanics in order to secure a win. Not many apart from myself and one or two others, have spoken out against this behavior by most on SBI server.
They already made a lot of Korean players quit the game because of the abuse they received for not following orders shouted at them by random people – not once even realizing they couldn’t speak/understand English very well, especially when SPAM SHOUTED at. I comforted a few and we continued our attack on Anzalia but for the most part I felt very sorry for them and what they had to endure.
I’m glad though that another person from SBI has openly admitted to double teaming against HoD. I would just like ArenaNet now to investigate and ban all these people who participated in same exploitative/cheating behavior.
For all who transfer to SBI:
If you don’t like the server, transfer back off of it.
We don’t need or want people who transfer to SBI because we are one of the top 3-4 WvW servers
…and who are you to say something like that ? Why don’t YOU transfer off the server so others who transfer in can enjoy themselves more without being constantly harassed and bullied.
Oh and I’m not the first this has happened too, apparently they do it to lots of people because those people are “taking up spots in wvw for their guild members and are just kitten noobs anyway”. Nice that. I really enjoy your lovely sense of community you have going on your public teamspeak server. They report bomb people to arenanet with false reports and malicious lies as well as bait and troll people to respond, one guy from Korea cursed in response and they mass reported him while all laughing on TS.
Rotten server, horrible people.
How to beat StormBluff Isle, from an SBI player who is sick of their harassment of new players and bullying of people who don’t follow their “orders”…
1. Control and constantly attack their supply camps.
2. Kill their Dolyak sniffers who constantly afk escort their Dolyaks.
3. If SBI control StoneMist, constantly attack the walls with Trebs and make sure your Trebs are away from edges of outside walls and well hidden from easy counter attacks as their “follow me everyone” 100g commanders will always have a few roadies hanging out of them to attack you.
If your Treb/mortar is downed, build more, keep doing it.
4. Their commanders are terrible, they really are. Apart from one or two, the vast majority of their commanders think they deserve to be followed and shout orders at everyone (or demand others do it for them) on their chat. They did and do nothing to earn their title, one in particular gives directions to someone operating a mortar or Treb from ET server if they have Anzalia, to take out anyone operating a mortar or Treb from SBI server in StoneMist, just because that commander shouted orders at random people not to attack ET server and they dared to ignore him.
5. SBI attacks go like this in EB WvW – attack Golanta, attack Rogues, protect Danelon, protect Umber, escort Dolyaks. That’s it. They do nothing else and anything else they do take is because low numbers from the opposing servers allow or a random few ignored the moronic commanders and just continued on forward attacking, then got lucky in numbers.
They will also push for one or two other places a couple minutes before the points tick, then leave it and not care if it falls, they do it just for points.
They’ve also been leaving Rogues Quarry for ET server to take once ET have settled in to Anzalia with it fully upgraded, SBI watch this from the hill overlooking Anzalia.
Their sole purpose is to disrupt and cut off supply to HoD and tick points over, which is fine, but pathetic when double teaming imho.
In ending, to kill off SBI, Take Danelon, Take Umber, Attack SM with long range Siege constantly. Take Ogre’s, frogs etc., also on your way, they detract enough to be worth it.
The last time HoD (the other night, Saturday evening/night) attacked SM South with the huge Golem charge (looked great btw) – SBI server burned over 1,500 supplies defending from that one attack. If only HoD knew to attack again, they would have done it.
Horrible server, horrible people – apart from the Korean players who are really nice and respectful to others.
They’re only this far ahead due to the pact they had and still have with some plants on ET server.
Smash them HoD, smash them to pieces and camp them continually outside their spawn when you do. Can’t wait to get away off this rotten server tbh, it reeks.
I also believe (and have seen things to back it up) that some commanders on the field are plants by other servers engaged in the WvW match.
Your title should be earned and should be server based only, not able to be carried across server transfers. It’s earned on that server and only works on that server.
Buying your title either through forcing guild members to pay up or buying gold from some dodgy place online (how else did you get 100g in all honesty) and then being disgusted because everyone on the map will not obey you is just laughable.
Follow me. Come to me. All on me. Need everyone to me. Everyone follow commander. All to commander. etc., etc., etc., Many of us are just sick of it, you did nothing to earn that title nor that icon on your head showing over the map and I only wish by default it was turned off for all players so they’re not mislead.
Your commander badge was not earned by skill or ability, you bought it.
It means nothing. Get over it.
I have no issue with this at all as I’ve fixed the simple problem that was causing it.
I’ve no intention of making the fix public however other than to the few I’ve given the help too already in game as it’s too much of an advantage to give away.
I’ll only give the information to a GW2 dev or something if required.
Some of us on the server thought that was absolutely pathetic, as we did the responses and bullying that persisted against people who refused to honor it.
We reported many people for verbal abuse and had to block many also as they were actually resorting to stalking, I couldn’t believe I had the sheer amount of “followers” when I logged back on this morning, seriously, creepy stuff. Was on about ten minutes when I started getting hate whispers from their groups. Some people need to seek serious professional help.
As for the resources in SM, don’t make me laugh. GM’s in game can check in regards rams or whatever, I never spent a single copper on them.
Me and one other guy from Korea, one guy, were the only two people to my knowledge that repaired walls in SM that were being constantly bombarded by ET server from Anzalia and their Overlook Keep, at one stage I’d gone out for a smoke and came back and two of the walls were at less than 20% – meanwhile everyone else was strangely still following orders from a commander telling them not to attack ET server…. funny that yeah.
So we repaired walls and I was earning toward my achievement also, which was great. What’s the problem here ? If ArenaNet deem that is an issue then please remove all achievements to do with repairing in WvW etc., just because a few raging abusive creeps when to shove orders around at people and TELL them how to play THEIR game that THEY paid for ? What the hell ?
The Map or Team chat is/are NOT your chat alone and the servesr are NOT based in some horrible communist or fascist country where you’re not allowed have any difference of opinion. I and some other actually believe the mass of people were being led away from the bigger threat which was to SM last night, intentionally and the sheer amount of bullying, malicious reporting and harassment was insane.
how ArenaNet allow such to continue is ridiculous, some community game that’s going to build yeah.
Some lovely people on SBI server who were supportive and disagreed with the bullying and harassment which persisted into today also soon as I logged on but for the most part the English speaking people are absolutely horrible to others, was even one guy posting horrible hate speeches against other peoples religions, one of the same people I might add who was ordering others around all night.
A lot of respect though to most of the players from Korea who got an awful amount of abuse too, the other chap who set up the guild with me said he was going to quit the game because he’d had so many threats made toward him by some others, I mean come on, that’s just moronic carry-on, you people should be ashamed of yourselves.
I carried out no exploits whatsoever, I said nothing that could even be deemed mildly abusive to anyone yet here I am, the really bad spy type person, rrraargh etc., jsut because I point blank REFUSED to “obey” orders shouted at me by bullies to not attack this or that server or not to repair walls etc., Why do ArenaNet put options in for me to level up and gain Karma points, experience and even some small copper by repairing against attacking forces if I’m not apparently supposed to do so when abusively ordered and shouted at by random strangers in the most vulgar language ?
Shame on you StormBluff Isle, you’re a disgrace to the Guild Wars community and most of you in the EB WvW and on that public TS you got going there should be removed from the game because of your bullying, harassment, abuse and stalking of new players, not to mention your continuous malicious reporting and organisation over TS of same.
Oh and shame on you for your disgraceful, and in my opinion, exploitative and pathetic pact not to attack ET servers facilities. I only hope I got through to enough people not to lower themselves to your levels of under handed pathetic cheapness in order for SBI to win. I want to win by skill and ability, not by forming cheap pathetic pacts with others servers and I will NOT EVER take orders from someone who spent 100g on an icon over there head so they can run around shouting follow me, on me, all to me, need everyone to me, come to me etc., etc.,
Nobody ever stopped to think or ask who their commander was and why he was continually leading them away from SM when SM was under constant attack and it’s walls at one stage hit 20%.
Who called out on map chat first last night when a huge Golem Crash was incoming on SM South doors ? Hmm ? Oh wait, yeah it was me and two other Korean guys with me. We asked for help for a good 3 minutes in map chat before a few start appearing. At which stage they’d already made it through the outer doors.
Too much rage and hate from many people in Eternal Battlegrounds on SBI server, god help any new player who comes in and just wants to have some fun, it’ll probably be their last time ever in there.
Hilarious and ridiculous the amount of rage, lies, bullying and maliciousness SBI server show toward new players and also toward Asian players.
I am this so called “spy” they’re all crying and telling lies about, so let me set the record straight up the way it is…
1. I have played on many servers, including ET and HoD and I’ve even been in many guilds. Myself and a chap from Korea then set up our own guild on SBI server called “Super Secret Spy Guild” or “SPY” as it’s shown after our name, thought it was very funny to be honest, haters gonna hate, nerds gonna rage.
So what if I keep in contact with some people from old guilds ? God almighty some people really need to take a step back and chill out, seriously.
I was also in a Ruin guild on ET server – am I now a spy for them too ?
Far as I remember, apart from a bit of banter laughing at someone I’d killed from an old guild, that’s about as far as any chat between us went.
2. For the most part I enjoyed playing on SBI server, mainly due to enjoying playing the game with some fun people from Korea who were really nice and we constantly ignored “SHOUTING ORDERS” from so called “commanders” who paid 100g for an icon and an ego who then thought they owned the WvW map and nobody else could play the game any other way but their way.
3. We were “ORDERED BY MASS SHOUTING IN MAP AND TEAM TALK” by Kriptic (a commander and tons of his sniffers/followers to stop attacking Eredon Terrace server who were dug in at Anzalia. We refused to do this and were then set upon by a tremendous amount of bullying, constant harassment and seriously persistent abuse both in game and absolutely horrible abuse over their public TeamSpeak server.
All of this because we refused to honor some “pact” their commander and his followers had not to attack ET server.
I was there when this supposedly happened. I told them then and I’ll say it again here, the two people were NOT under the ground, they were there for all to see. Not their fault some people can’t configure their network or computer correctly to display enemy players. I attacked them both no problems though they were very fast using swiftness etc., ran in fast, killed dolyak, ran out fast.
To be perfectly honest, the others at the “Dolyak sniffing” run were most of the time afk, as always really. I was surprised I was the only one actually defending, the others there just left themselves on walk even when it was dead.
There’s an awful lot of maliciousness and lies on SBI server, I would pay absolutely no attention to reports of this nature unless video proof is shown to back it up.
