Alright, lets start off this rant topic with an small word of gratitude to the game devs, you did an fantastic job carving the jungle. it looks amazing, the story is amazing and the specialisations are amazing.

however, (yes here it comes)
The issue with HoT isn’kittens content, its the stability of the maps. now what do i mean with that? allow me to explain.

The issue at hand is the numerous crashes, today i was on Dragon’s Stand (ds) trying to get that shiny lay energy converter. i have played this map start to finish, wel, tried to play it start to finish.

In the course of an hour, i experienced 19 crashes, 19… let that number sink in please. 19… yes 19,

This issue is not isolated to ds map, every single map has an major meta event which i gladly participate in, they are enjoyable content which is really well made, the isue however, is crashes. shocker right?

Every map i have played on in the major meta events resulted in nothing but pure frustration after crashing to desktop multiple times. i have tried setting up parties so i could rejoin the shard i crashed from (the active meta map) with little to no succes, yes i was able to rejoin but only to crash to desktop 5 minutes later.

I have used an heroic booster tonight in ds meta map which i commanded on, which was practically wasted, i was able to get an kill on maybe 15-25 mobs only after to crash to desktop, i have seen multiple chests which i was running to to pickup and before reaching them crashing again.

Its an shame, that i have to turn to forum side like this but my frustration has reached its limit. Enough is enough.

When can we expect some form of stability improvements to the game? I am aware the devs are working on this as i am typing this, HoT is now live for nearly 2 weeks. over this time there have been plenty of updates which were targeted at improving the content, fixing bugs, exploits, and all sorts of things.

As to close this post, is there any compensation for people affected by these numerous crashes? it ruins the HoT experience to such an degree where i am inclined to just leave the HoT alone since it creates more frustration then pleasure when playing said content.

If anyone else is experiencing what i am, please, post your story and let the dev’s know what you think of it, be polite and considerate as you always are.

The que’s are indeed insane, last night i was que’d to join my guild in holding and defending dreaming bay for over 4 hours… i never got in.

Anet, please hurry up with the overflow thing, becouse without, i think you wil recieve ALOT of ranting just like this topic (or worse)

its quite obvious that PVE is in WvW in huge numbers, never have i had an 5 vs 1 on my mesmer…. and i won it….

its quite obvious, the stream of up lvld’s…crappy build characters… its PVE AP hunt time

wel, now the kitten hits the fan. o god i hate supression in chat, thats why i always have to roll with team mates to relay commands, but it often loses the fights

i might be able to help you, its indeed called the static discharge build, an extreeeeemely high damage burst. however, it uses all of the toolbelt skills he has available, so block his attack and you should kill him with ease

i have all of the above, what i am refering to is commanding randoms on EB which is as you might know, an pain. XD

yeah, its kinda hard to figure this out without an response from Anet, i just want to be sure before i do this.

Okay guys, this is an verry verry simple question concerning macro’s

to start off, i am aware of the policy of Anet on macro’s, however it is not quite clear to me if the following falls under legit or illegal.

As some of you might know, commanding an zerg is an pain without ts. having to type commands manualy, i plan to fix this isue for myself.

My plan is to use my gaming mouse’s hotkeys to quickly send an message to everyone, for example i pres G19, and i will say to my zerg “stack up” “charge” “waterfields now! blast them!”

as you know, in the middle of combat this is virtualy imposible to achieve by simply entering these commands the old fashion way.

my question, is this allowed or not?

i normaly dont respond to these rage things but i have an suggestion to fix al of this whining,

an one time transmution ability, transmute the mf items everyone has to the stats they want, much like they want to have legendary items.

the base has been laid, now apply it to an one time transmute to the ascended items and al this whining is over.

hey guys from far shiverpeaks! today you tried to gollem rush our keep in EB (UW) but did not succeed.

i must say the zerg vs zerg fight i had there was the best i had in the whole match up week, you had slightly more numbers (its okay) but we won and you retreated

if you saw an realy annoying mesmer (human) casting berserkers to criple retreating ally’s that was me

Far shiverpeaks, you obviously have massive amounts of WvW players, nice.. but most are not organised and blob the map with 50+ groups. kinda turns zerg vs zerg fights into “hey who can tag the most”

Arborstone, now here is an server thats having an hard time. facing both UW and FS is not easy and stil they manage to hold their ground against both. zerg fights are actualy fun and exiting as we are on even numbers (we do win most of the time )

and btw FS… i read your comunity forums without being an member and i could acces some tasty builds and tactics you use… you should fix dat…. :P
