I noticed this issue in the last few weeks, for some reason even though the finisher is selected when I stomp someone it does the default finisher. However, when I go to the PvP lobby and stomp an NPC it works.

Ideas?

This is still happening constantly, it is infuriating. For example.. every time I try to taxi into silver wastes my game crashes when I leave the taxi party. Every single time.

This has been happening to me as well. It just did so it’s not fixed.

I’ve been trying a new build in WvW which depends a lot on this trait actually working.
I do not have cleansing fire for a utility. I have been testing this by letting enemy necros put conditions on me and I have not seen cleansing fire proc once, and it’s a pretty obvious animation.

I will continue to test this, but has anyone else been having an issue with this in WvW?

I dont feel like burning fire is procing at all in wvw. Note: I do not have cleansing fire on my utility bar.

Defiance stance is broken from a wvw/gvg standpoint.

I agree with OP. If it’s not broken, don’t ‘fix’ it. This change is irritating and pointless. Very counter-intuitive.

Apparently anet did something wrong considering the number of people who were misled about the finisher issue.

If you kittens want to ‘actually play the game’ come to Mag bl and fight with us. You guys have almost no presence right now, really boring; this is why things like “karma train” are brought up.

The only reason Karma trains can be brought up is because you want to read a book and play the game as the same time, or you have trouble getting to sleep and you need something incredibly boring to drive you in that direction.

You could of course disperse your blob to fight what is available rather then QQ, but that is pretty scary. Someone might be responsible for their play!

Or maybe it’s to level alts a little bit without having to pve.

ZzZz fights outnumbered all the time, it’s what we do, but I obviously you don’t have a clue. Honestly, you seem a little kitten-hurt. Keep it up, I’m sure your attitude will get you far in life.

PS. Anet structured the WvW reward system in a way that encourages karma trains… ESPECIALLY when there is NO ONE to fight.

I’m just wondering if you understand what 80+ people can do in a zerg. We left the map because you sat your fat blob of players on top of keep walls and only pushed us with JQ on our flank. Good fights keep us around, but timid commanders are boring. The 3 way in the BL was fun though.
Though I think Fading was leading that.

Don’t come on here and try to take the enjoyment we had from our reset night away, we did in fact enjoy beating you every time and its our accolade to hold. I don’t expect the outcome to be the same if you and Agg are together in force because that’s a force few groups can handle but on reset night we were most certainly the victors.

Fighting big fat reset blobs that sit on keep walls and only push when 3rd server is on our flank is not fun when you have 40 players. = same story.

Really not sure why you have such a kitten for me or my guild. Lying about what? You came here posting about us first, and making assumptions. When I corrected you, more assumptions paired with insults were posted by you.

Here is a fact- you lost your keep because almost every player on the map was on your icon while you were fighting JQ, after you wiped half of us. An immediate fight with JQ after wiping half of our group indicates you were pushing on us while they were on our flank.

Knowing the map population cap is ~100, (and I’m not saying you had 100 players) and that we had around 40- what makes you think that I would lie about losing a fight with you guys? In skill lag 80+ vs 40 is a matter of a big group cleaving over a smaller group. You played a very careful game with that number of people and it was boring and laggy. If you can’t understand that, then I apologize for you.

Only reason we had one group is because Nightlight was queued all night.

If I remember correctly, TC was getting 2v1’d all night in EBG for reset. No complaints here, we didn’t lose a fight for hours. Also, EP/Agg were the ones who took our keep while we were fighting the JQ blob, then you guys just posted up in there for a while. We were not avoiding you. In any case.. most of us are in it for the fights, let’s keep things civil.

I agree, I was just about to post something about this issue. Silver doubloons are up to 2 gold now and there’s no reason to think they will stop going up.

a) Temporal curtain should stack existing swiftness.

b) Sometimes when running through temporal curtain it doesn’t grant swiftness.

that being said having run on all the BL’s this weekend and watching TC as we’ve fought them…..

They haven’t been terrible, but you can see the differences in experience of servers playing in T1 and those that aren’t..

The farming of TC in their EB keep, and the holding of their garrison (almost waypoint now) for the last few days..

I have a video of Ace and [Fear] fighting TC in the EB keep with a tiny amount of people in a sea of red and just outplaying the entire TC blob and saving the keep, you see it slowly turn from red to green as TC gets wiped.

I think your commanders need to work on strategy a little more and try some things they don’t normally do, we openly sandwiched TC blobs repeatedly

a blob only goes so far without the coordination.

TLDR: keep practicing and keep your head up!

I don’t know… on reset night Pink and CERN were wiping SoR’s blob all night on Red BL. Last night EP and company were wiping SoR’s blob in EBG. Good times.
