Only thinkg I lack is giftstopper, I seem to really suck at stopping people in PvP, but the rest was rather easy.
Toypocalypse just requires a bit of teamwork, I got both achievements with the first group I joined. If your group sucks, too bad, try again later or.. gasp try to coordinate teamwork yourself.

The bells was tricky, but clicking? Seriously?
The keys are mapped so you can use both hands on the 1-0 keys like a piano.
You still need to work on timing, but once you got it, it’s very doable. You press the right key approximately as the notes entered the inner circle. As stated in the gamerules, topdown view helps.

Jumping puzzle was very easy, especially compared to the Mad King’s Tower. This one is timed, but it’s just straight jumps, so timing shouldn’t be an issue.

Anyway, I again had lots of fun, and I think you can too if you don’t give up immediatly.

Fortunately I had enough gold for gems to get all Halloween items (both costumes, the hood, 2x minipet pack for the special one).

If Christmas comes and I don’t have enough gold and I like the offerings, then yes, I will definately spend some cash.
Like someone else said: there’s no subscriptionfee here, so I wouldn’t mind giving them some money now and then if I see something I like.

Don’t know where exactly you mean with 3/4, but if you made it to the part where you jump down to the cog with chest, then do not give up!
If you can reach that, you can do the last bit more relaxed, since you’ll have relatively much time to look/prepare jumps if needed.

I agree that scavenger hunt was not needed for any titles/achievements, but it’s not up to us what each player finds extremely important. There are a lot of players who find having that book back piece to be incredibly high priority while others just don’t care at all. I know we see the argument thrown around a lot that if these players wanted the book skin so badly, then why not take the time to level? There are just simply some people that can only invest a few hours during this whole event and for them that just isn’t feasible. Given Anet’s ability to do level scaling and design all portions of the game to support it, these players really shouldn’t be missing out on any part of a holiday event even if it’s just one part of it.

A few hours should be more than adequate to get higher level bodyguards to escort you on the few harder spots.

Must be you. You get the keys by completing maps 100%, so depending on when you started to play, you could’ve gotten some already.
If not, quickest would be completing the hometowns (all available through LA gates) and hoping for a few keys.

That said, I made a few MK chests but was unlucky with all of them. So, it’s not like you definately miss out on anything if you don’t get them.

“Only” 5% may still be a lot of players that like it. How manyplayers are there in GW2?
It probably is more than enough to justify the days it would take to make the tower.

Perhaps try a full relog (client shutdown & restart) first.
If that fails too, yeah, support ticket.

Clean up (e.g. remove) some old mails first?

I really don’t like that spider (small tiny thing), but if this is true, that’s a nice touch.
wonder if the other minis have similar things.

I’m a lousy jumper too and it took me a few hours before reaching the clocktower as well.
But it’s worth trying, since once you made it, next attempts are so much easier (lack of pressure?).
And you’ve actually learned a bit, so other jump puzzles will be easier too!

Some tips:
- watch a youtube vid to see the path
- ignore chests on the way until you’re pro
- if crappy pc, lower all settings to avoid any fps drop
- try off-hours, so less people around to block view or to wait for.

As for beating him with brute force respawns… yeah, there’s a lot of that in this game. It’s like losing, but being rewarded for it, anyhow. Just takes a lot of patience. I also did it with my gf, and really, could barely stand to get through it once.

Ever wondered if you’re playing the game the right way?
Get a group and it’s done in a few minutes.

And it’s not losing + rewarding, it’s rewarding you for the unnecessary amount of time you’re willing to spend on it.

Safest bet is to assume november 1st will be the end of all (except store).

Thankfully I’ll never be able to get the title anyways since I can’t do the Jumping puzzle so I don’t ever have to get worked up about doing the book quest as a pre-requisite XD.

Bad news then, the carving & tower don’t count for Emissary
And you don’t need the book quests either for that.

+Dye packs as I noticed last night

Dragging did not work for me, but I assume it was because my (empty!) bag was bigger.
Why try to equip a smaller bag? Well, just to test it.

Also, if possible, try playing in the off-hours if possible.
Less others to bug you, less time spend waiting between tries.

Also, as in life, you spend a silly amount of time waiting on others…
