Watch out for that 40 man! Didn’t get much good video because pretty much every group we ran into ran away, SOS pug zerg in EBG stacked might on SM wall for 3-4 minutes before they figured out it was only 5 people.

So much lolz. Fair play to you guys, I was tagged up at the time and got calls of varying large numbers of [DERP] outside SM then spent a good minute or two laughing (with you, not at you) as we stood trying to count how many actual players you had there.

Don’t let a variety of guild tags have you believe that our group was pure pug, but most of all epic troll was epic. Well played guys, see you again before reset I’m sure.

People always try to make this point in response, but its apples and oranges, because all the US time zones still have enough players for competitiveness across each other, even if one server say favors East Coast and another favors Pacific. It’s not like 100 vs 8 people. It’s only the across the world splits that provide the disparities in numbers unmatched anywhere else to the point of ludicrousness

Apples and Oranges because the time disparity isn’t as great? That would be Apples and smaller Apples would it not?
Anyway, I’m genuinely curious as to whether or not you’ve tried to recruit a stronger Oceanic/SEA presence. If so, what do you think went wrong? If not, maybe try to fix a perceived problem before complaining about it?

No, T1 servers are round the clock manned near to full. So obviously would not be fair to put a sever like SoS up against them as they would get murdered for about 16 hours every day.

Although they’re #4 I have to use TC as an example here. They didn’t have near the numbers of Oceanics as we do on SoS but what they lacked in terms of force size they more than made up for in the way they defended strategically, thus maintaining a healthy PPT. It’s all about choosing your battles, and more importantly where the battlefield is when you’re outnumbered.

Really though, Anet, put Dragonbad, SoS, and CD all in a tier and let them play each other forever. Or whoever has taken CDs place as the 3rd biggest Oceanic.

Next will you want servers to be split by East Coast, Central, Mountain and Pacific US times?
Oceanics log on as you log off, just as you log on when they do.

Thanks to TC & SoR for a fun week, no really. Refreshing to see such a vast majority playing and commenting in good spirits though I expected no less after last matchup with TC and from a server like SoR where TSYM are a key guild.

This matchup was the most fun I had in months. The current matchup is fun, but not as much fun because we aren’t really getting a chance to fight back.

Agreed 100% with the idea of a rematch from last week. Great fun and smacked the complacency of romping T4 week in week out, out of us.

Failing that I’d take Mag & EBay. Both servers seem to want to match up with us and I’d love to show them why they won’t be wanting to face SoS again in a hurry.

I made my Engi as my first character back in BWE1 because of the “oh, this looks different” factor and all these months later it’s still the class I play 99% of the time.

It’s definitely a hard profession to master, perhaps the hardest (InB4EleCries), but Engi has enough versatility to suit all forms of gameplay and be adaptable to your play style and preferences.

If you want a profession that provides a well rewarded challenge, go for it.

Thanks to the TC players who were involved in the running battles around Vale/Briar on your borderlands the past couple of hours. Great fun and lots of tactical switch-ups by you guys to keep our little militia on our toes. Cheers!

I can’t and won’t speak for everyone but several guild-mates and I are playing more because this match-up is far more fun than our recent T4 matches.

This week was never going to be about victory for us, it was and still is an opportunity to rediscover form, shake off any tactical rust and kill off any complacency that may have crept in during past match ups where we tended to win by comfortable margins.

I remember weeks ago when ET advertised and lured a few Oceanic guilds over from SoS, and there was similar e-rage expressed as what there is now. Everyone remembers that this is a game….right?
