Can someone send ma a cached world_names.json?
gw2wvw.org
Without commando operations, Elona has equal players in night than JS.
And the outmanned buff is a lie?
And Elona has really more players than JS on day.
Looking at http://imageshack.us/a/img202/948/dn83.jpg I know why you think we are many by night and more than you by day. It’s because the French name labels are twice as long as English or German ones… :o

A bit late but I changed the scoreboard to show information about the season points and rankings. I will change it back after this week and use it again if another season starts.

Added symbols showing who has the borderlands’ bloodlust buff.

Will the October 15th update fix the ruins’ neutral status in the match_details?
gw2wvw.org
The new ruin objectives do not update to the “neutral” status, they always keep the color of the owner before going neutral. The way it’s now it is rather useless.
Furthermore it would be nice to get information who has which Bloodlust buff, because it’s almost impossible to safely recognize who gained the buff with the data we have.
gw2wvw.org
Is there any way to know who has the bloodlust bonuses? Do we need to monitor it ourself ?
The buff changes owner when another server keeps 3 points for 2 minutes.
That would mean you have to call the match_details every second and it still would be error-prone.
gw2wvw.org
The problem is still existing, it does not return the neutral state.
EDIT: It would also be nice to know who has the Borderlands Buffs.

Updated the website showing the ruin status on borderlands.

German Translation:
Carver’s Ascent -> Aufstieg des Schnitzers
Orchard Overlook -> Obstgarten Aussichtspunkt
Bauer’s Estate -> Bauers Anwesen
Battle’s Hollow -> Schlachten-Senke
Temple of Lost Prayers -> Tempel der Verlorenen GebeteDanke werdernator!
If your game language is German you can press right “Ctrl” and it instantly shows english labels until you release the key.
gw2wvw.org
As far as I can see it does not update if the ruin turns to neutral, the color of the former owner is returned. :/

But you should be carefull posting in German / spanish / french forum because you might get banned , this is what happend to me posting something in the French forum.
“You are Banned
Since you’re not a French native speaker and you’ve ignored our warnings, you are permanently banned from the French GW2 forum”I asked the German Devs if i could get banned from English speaking Forum because i m not a English native Speaker, never got any kind of official reply , so be carefull posting in the Forums.
Lol, that’s almost racist.

Will the Glicko 2 system be obsolete then?

Added skip buttons.

Look at the top where I explained the focus analyser. The focus value says how many percent you do focus on which server’s territory. Anyway, this discussion should not be made in the API forums, I just mentioned this matchup as an example.
gw2wvw.org
Just some thoughts since you seem to be looking at different ways of analyzing server play style – would be really cool to take that concept even farther than just a live reading.
These are really good ideas! I will think a little bit about how to put that into practice. Long-time focus on servers and putting the focus in relation to scores or rating evolution at the end of the week would be nice. Analysing the participation in double focus would be possible, too – or better: how much percent focusing on higher rated servers and how much percent on the weaker ones…
I will turn to it when I have enough time, anyway the focus data are already collected and archived on resets, so that I can use it later.
Thank you for these nice ideas.

Very nice. I like it!
Thank you!
As one can see right now Vizunah Square and Riverside are extremely focusing on Baruch Bay. So the focus analysis provides hard facts, in the forums the losing servers always claim “we lose just because of double focus” but usually the focus is very balanced at the end of the week.

Hi guys,
I made a website providing a WvW live map, statistics, rankings, focus analysis and buff timers.
I hope you enjoy it and wish you good luck on the battlegrounds!

Hello WvW players,
please check out my WvW live map and stats website gw2wvw.org.
It provides the current objective states, cached on the server and updated every 30 seconds, buff timers (showing time and a white ring around the objective), live ratings/rankings, guild claims and it analyses the focus between the servers. You can zoom in the different battlegrounds by clicking them on the map. The map height adapts to the window height. A cookie saves your region and tier selections.
Client-side it updates the match data every 10 seconds and the complete rankings every 5 minutes.
If the API is offline, the website manages it and retries automatically. It also notices the WvW reset and reloads automatically to update the matchups, the server retrieves the new matchups and rating data from the GW2 website.
The focus analysis works as following: Each server has 2 focus counters for the other 2 servers. All maps are divided into thirds of objectives belonging to one of the 3 servers, some objectives are neutral like Stonemist Castle, or some camps on the borderlands. If now an objective is captured, and the objective does not belong to the server capturing, it counts up the focus on the victim server considering the value of the objective (camp=1, tower=2, keep=5). The neutral objectives are not considered.
The focus bars show the focus on the 2 other servers percentage-wise. The focus is counted the whole week long and reset on WvW reset.
I know that there is already Millenium with a map and buff timers, but I have to clarify that I had both my live map and the buff timer idea already in development, before appearing on Millenium.
I hope you enjoy it and wish you good luck on the battlegrounds!

Currently you provide the map font Menomonia in the regular and the italic version.
Since there is no bold one, the browsers all enlarge the font differently, some don’t even show bold in general.
Could you please give us a bold one?
gw2wvw.org
No, the EU ratings are definitely wrong. On http://mos.millenium.org/matchups there are the correct ones of the end of last week. Even the matchup is wrong, “Seafarer’s Rest” is in Tier 2, not in Tier 1…
So I don’t want to rely on that page, the API values are correct but without rating, dev and vol.

Ok, I’m making this an “official” suggestion now: please add exact world ratings, deviations and volatilities to the API.
the Leaderboard has values for these, but there are 2 problems with them: (1) you have to parse the HTML to extract them and (2) they are rounded to 4 decimal places. If you try to use rounded values to predict new ratings, you end up with different numbers than ArenaNet publishes, and I’m guessing this is because ArenaNet has exact starting values that are of a higher precision than the Leaderboard shows.
A change in the 5th decimal place of volatility (which we don’t see on the Leaderboard) cascades into a rather large change in predicted deviation (it shows up in the 3rd decimal place), which then cascades into large changes in predicted rating (sometimes large enough to affect predicted ranking).

Reading the data from this page " https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/eu/wvw " at least worked in the past but now there are the randomized ratings so now we can only take our calculated ratings from the week before… That’s bad and inaccurate. :/

I’ve finished the first section, which is the event status viewer, of the website implementation today.
http://www.iguildwars2.com/You could get some trouble with that domain. :/
I’m not sure.
Since I’m also developing an iOS app using this API, and I planned to call it iGuildWars2,
because…you know, the “i” prefix is popular which usually means the product is related to apple company, so I just want to keep the consistency with the iOS app and the website. As the API publisher said, we should only be allowed to use the API that never produce something may compete with ArenaNet. But ArenaNet doesn’t provide any tools like we did. Personally, I think there will not be any problem.
For the domain name, it happens everywhere around the world. A competitor may intensively register the domain names that are very similar to you and make a site providing similar services. However, my purpose is just producing an effective tool for the players… It should be OK… maybe..
This page is linked in the API documentation:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-content-terms-of-use/
Look under “Are there restrictions on what I name my site or what domain I purchase for my site?”

What about 2 guild APIs? One for name and tag (like guild_names.json) and one for more information (guild_details.json).
gw2wvw.org
I really would recommend making the match_details.json additionally return the clear guild names and tags, otherwise one has to send way too many requests for getting a match and it’s guilds.
gw2wvw.org
While they have provided a good service for the last few months, I don’t believe people should stop making their own apps/web sites just because mos started using the API.
and thank you!
I agree, I already started creating a live wvw status page even if there is MoS. I just wanted to wait for the API coming out, it’s not that MoS invented server status pages.
gw2wvw.org
The returned match details (https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/wvw/match_details.json?match_id=1-1) do not contain the clear guild names. Is there a way to get the name?
