does this actually happen, or is this a “what would happen if it were more like life” situation?

Again, I doubt this is a graphics issue because I very recently updated my drivers, and when entering LA, it takes a short while for my eyes to change.

It is possible that it is a graphics issue somewhere, possibly caused by using a default value for eye colour on a single character model (I say single because I don’t recall seeing other characters get red eyes), but that seems to stretch it a little.

This doesn’t mean I dislike it, I quite enjoy the effect and kinda hope it sticks around, perhaps my sylvari has a dark side.

Further note: A friend reports seeing my character’s eyes as red while his remained their normal brown, either we’ve both got the same graphics issue and it only affects sylvari, or the eyes are supposed to turn red.

don’t think that’s the issue, everything graphics related is up to date as far as I know

Sorry for the intentionally misleading title… wait no, not all that sorry, but I was wondering if my sylvari eyes changing from blue to red was an intentional part of the event, or if it’s a bug somewhere.

Attached are pictures of my regular eye colour and the red halloween-y colour respectively.

It seems to be tied around Lion’s Arch so being part of the event is likely.

now I’m curious, what fruits don’t contain seeds? I am counting the stone of stone fruits to be seeds

I mean, we come from pods that belong on a tree, does this mean we are seeds?

If we are seeds, could we theoretically become another pale tree?

If we are seeds and could become another pale tree, what would happen to the other races as we continue to populate? A single tree produced hundreds to thousands of sylvari within 20 years, a human might be able to push out 26 babies or so over that time, with almost no pregnancy downtime, they can’t compete.

Also, if we are seeds, having a sentient seed that is strong enough to defend itself seems like a pretty nifty reproductive device for a tree.
