People moan, people always moan, don’t be changing things like this though.

I don’t see how this new system can possibly benefit (on average) servers that are below halfway down the rankings. In contrast as much as the lower servers get a rough deal, higher tier servers get a great deal, the higher you are the better the deal in fact!!! Madness.

Who cares if the matchups stay the same for weeks, people will moan sure, but people will moan even more now!

Matching EU vs US servers (of the same rank) is a better idea than what we have just moved to! Al least that would counter the “there are only 24 servers and the matchups all occur at the same time” problem, in fact Fissure of Woe could night cap against an absent Eredon Terrace and vice-versa (might be fun).

Crappest week on WvW yet.

I’m on Gunnar’s Hold btw so my opinion might be biased, seeing as we seem to have the most unfair matchup currently (excluding t9 but that’s always unfair).

Saying that though, the GH community i keeping its chin up and we even made it into Blue Keep lords room (EB) briefly while no one was around, but then Piken turned up and well… we were asked to leave. However night time will be upon us soon and that will be another whole load of kitten

In other news, it has been fun to fight FSP, you guys are definitely better than us in prime time and you deserved to win, Miller’s however I shall never forgive xD

Even now they are taking our towers in EB as we chase the lead.

It is not FSP, I understand why you guys go for us, but why Millers has been interested in (inadvertantly I know but still) helping the bigger server to beat the underdog will escape me forever I think, did they think that they could catch FSP by stomping us too? What logic is that?!?! lol

I think GH did awesome to put up a fight as long as we did. We lost a lot of activity from Wednesday onwards but that only makes it more challenging and interesting, I’m sad to lose 1st place but it went to the deserving team in the end.

Besides 2nd isn’t 3rd… Miller’s… xD

I really don’t see how you can think millers stomped you guys.
If there was anyone that attacked your border/EB side and sacked your T3 keeps and towers it was us. Millars sometimes came after that happened to take those downgraded keeps and towers away from us.
And millars has been way more active on our border than on yours the last 3 days, and if they did show up on your border it was usually us that had to fight em off cause they capped the things we took from you.

Ok sorry, you are right. I imagined fighting zergs of Miller’s and FSP on our BL at the same time, nevermind.

The be all and end all is that if Miller’s have been visiting you guys on your BL then they haven’t been doing a very good job as it has looked remarkably blue all week, however GH is all the colours of the rainbow! lol well 3 colours anyway.

Last night was so much fun! GJ WSR, I really didn’t want to cap SM back and just let you and RoF duke it out but even we cannot control the zerg sometimes! lol, certainly not me I’m just a grunt.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed WSR capping SM and you guys deserved it, definitely caught us with our pants down! We were horrifically complacent, but it certainly made for an interesting end to the night!

WSR ftw! well… after GH xD u guys are awesome, u totally deserve a stronger wvw presence cos the players you have are so much fun to play against when you get going! Just as NP are on RoF. If only we could have even numbers sometime to have a real good tear up!

I have had my butt handed to me by your guys a few times during the last few weeks matchups in wvw, would be good to have you on my team lol. I play on GH, everyone is super friendly and polite, I’ve been playing since xmas and feel lucky to have chosen GH as my first server. The community is active and really organised.

Considering free transfers are ending we are one of the lower ranked EU servers that is actually having small influx of players, rather than going down, I think that that speaks volumes itself. But I know it is down to coordination and politeness of commanders and the community as a whole.

I’m just a grunt, no one important, just thought I’d let you know how nice it is to play on Gunnar’s (your members will have a really nice time).
