I constantly hearing in game voices! I’m playing a female norn Mesmer and while I am alone I hear either a char male guardian shouting “Stand your ground” or even an asura male warrior shouting “Shake if off” or even a human female who desperly want help because she is on a down state….I look around and I am totaly alone in the area….Am the only one? Am I getting mad??!!
Nono he says that he double checked the the cylindical case His attempted thievery had failed. Making u think that there was nothing inside or whatever was inside was fake..
He double checked to see if the thing inside the case was fine. The thievery had failed. So that day hee didnt retrieve the second item he wanted. I think in the cylindrical case is the “sinister , ghostly , hard-to-find and expensive” item he bought 2 days ago as many others have said and it’s the first item needed for this MF recipe.
So, this narrows the #1 item in a thing that fits in cylindrical case. (Cpt obvious xD)
EDIT: Reading Mackanstein.2503 post, i have to confess that maybe he is right. Maybe he managed to stole a bit but not all. Later on the story tells “But with many, there was power”. So maybe he kept going to the same place over the “productive week” stealing more of the second item he wanted. Its a bit confussing O_o

Different colors are a decently large change. It allows color coding as to what commander will fulfill what role. What would you have them do?

Isn’t WvW a HUGE zerg blob vs HUGE zerg blob that each follow 1 commander anymore? I rarely saw more than 1 commander and always the second commander was flamed to drop the tag. If WvW tactics changed and actually it’s more than blob vs blob with multiple commanders, then this change will actually help! Then again, it isn’t a big change at all. It’s just color tags. It’s not even worth mention is as big change…
I think it’s time for us, the community, to ask for more. It’s a gem store outfit. This is unacceptable. My problem is that designers knew about the horrific clips if you don’t wear a helmet and yet, they decided to go on and put it up for real money (for some players) instead of holding up a few weeks to fix the issues. I am really sad for this. I am sad not about the outfit, or any outfit, but with the whole idea of putting unfinished and badly designed things on gem store/game. I want to support them, but I will never support lazy and unfinished projects.

Almost two years since launch and this game breaking party-mechanism hasn’t been addressed…and since they never going to fix it, adopt the moto “Losing progress, especially in the fractals, is part of game”.
I would love to see a condition build equivalent to the power builds but still, it’s just not worth it. Unless you add more conditions like bleed etc….

3. An Upgrade kit so we can have 4 active crafting Proffessions at the same time in one character

Yes here too. We were soooo exited about the new fractal (because we loved the living story one) but in the end Anet gave us nothing more than a glass of disappointment. I guess is to hard for Anet to test the new content before it goes live.

No, definitely no. I totally agree with your way of thinking but Raids will work the same way it works now. An example: Doing CoE approximately 30-35 times I got 3 Charged Lodestones. Farming in Orr and world bosses for 5+ months I got 1 lodestone. That’s how is supposed to work. The game rewards you a bit more (actually with more probabilities) because objectively, Dungeons are harder than Open World Bosses & PvE. So, in order to “lure” players playing them, the system rewards them with better chance drop. It’s like players in Dungeons have an “invisible” magic find boost. It doesn’t “fit” GW2 philosophy if raiders could get BETTER equipment than people who don’t want to join a raid, but it “fits” perfectly if the raiders just have increased drop chance. Participating in raids should be optional. Meaning that it won’t be a “big deal” for people who don’t want to join. But, image all the other who love PvE to be able to play that kind of content. Just awesome.

Reading many topics about raid boss and end game and since I don’t want to create a new thread about it I will post it here. It make me think why people don’t like raid boss and why they complain so much about adding raid boss fight for end game content. Since there is no “Holy Trinity” in the game, some say we can’t have Raid Boss fights that aren’t boring “Tank & Spank”. I think that’s wrong. Anet can still design challenging, funny and enjoyable Raid Fights without the “Holy Trinity” dogma. We all have thousand ideas of raids fights that don’t need dedicated tank or healer and they are based on players’ coordination and communication. Raid Fights “fit” to the GW2 philosophy.
Why we should have Raid Boss Fights?
1. It makes you feel that you can participate into something bigger AND your role into this really matters! (no more auto attacking an open world boss with the zerg :P)
2. It boosts the meaning of being in a guild. (Why being in a guild when you can’t even make a big parties with all the members in guild mission and WvW??)
3. It creates nice end – game content.
4. Playing along with more than 5 people is fun
How Loot from Raid Boss Fights should be? (ALWAYS in comparison with dungeon/open word bosses)
1. Increased chance for rare craft materials (lodestones/shards/t6 mats etc)
2. Increased chance of getting an ascendant/exotic item or a precursor
3. Increased amount of gold
4. Increased amount of karma and karma Jugs
5. Increased amount of getting “Easter eggs” (minis/Black Lion Keys etc)
6. Maybe Trade Tokens for armor/weapon skins
Priorities for a Raid:
1. All raid members equally participate and contribute in a boss fight.
2. Mechanics that ALL classes are needed.
*Note: I understand that many people don’t like Raids or PvE at all. As you can see for above, Raids should not drop something you can’t find by yourself, but instead it should just add a bit more chance. If you don’t want something challenging stick to auto attacking AFK open world bosses, real fun there :/ *
There is place in GW2 for Raid Fights.
PS: 1. Please avoid “WoW fan boy” “Go back to WoW” and things like that. I don’t understand why a good idea from this specific game is automatically banned from GW2 community (like RB, dungeon finder across all realms etc). If you prefer shouting in LA for 30-40min to find a group for TA instead of just pressing “find button” and wait for 5 min while you do anything you like, then there is something wrong with your way of thinking. We all love GW2, most of us played GW1, but rejecting innovating things from any other MMO game is regressive.

It’s more like “die because you didn’t dodge instead of expecting boons to save you”. Some builds may now scare you – there is risk!
Oh, on the contrary never expected only to my boons to do that. You gain surv by knowing what happen around you, by dodging corectly and be on the edge at every moment.
Basically the problem is that it’s a risk to give your boons. I mean giving boons may be the worst for your party if the party against have many warriors. Image 7-8 full zerk warrior 100blade your full boon party So it’s like Anet tell you "Don’t use boons on the WvW " instead of “Don’t give your boons freely”. Because if you give 2-3 boons it’s already 6-9% more damage… I don’t mind cause I can play only for my self with meditation build/signet build etc but this way you take all the fun and the supporting that one char can give to another. Worse they convert generally good support skills through boons to something like conditions…
PS: You can’t dodge forever mate. Try playing a guardian with 16k-18k life against a
group of 15+ ppl and tell me if dodge by itself helped you staying alive >.<

I finally understood what Anet was meaning when they were saying “We want the Guard to be a frontline soldier”. I changed my traits and armor to be more “tanky” and convinced that we will never get a range option; I played as a frontline soldier. I learned to “read” the battlefield and use my skills accordingly. It was very tough but after months I managed to be a good front liner and I Loved it. It was awesome! IF these patch notes are true maybe Anet should tell us what the kitten we are supposed to do with our class that has constrict range options and the lowest health on game. They still want us to be the frontline soldiers? I could totally understand Anet though “Die cause you didn’t play you class as it supposed to be”, but “Die because you use your class mechanics and the enemies can shred you to piece” is totally stupid. Think about it. It’s like saying to a necromancer that each condition you apply you get 10 stack of vulnerability or even to Warriors for each stack of adrenaline you get +x% incoming damage….Don’t mess with class mechanics to make PvP balanced…Let’s admit it, there is NO FUN dying in 10 seconds even though your team wins the battle…
EDIT: Please don’t force us to stay back doing lol damage and mediore support with the staff >.<

So…the “strife thingy” you saw in the video in the first post was actually intended by the game designers? If so then we should realy stop complaing if it’s a game “feature” . If so we should start complaing about how strife works in the game))
Still not even an official response or something. At least let us know that you won’t fix it, so we can stop complaining about this matter and deal with it.
PS: As you already know, scepter’s auto attack is useless. (The don’t even need to dodge it anymore)
I just wish for 4 things
1) Upgrade us to T2 Health pool because we lose options from awesome and cool specs (as we need to invest @ Vit armor)
2) They should make scepter 1 faster because it’s kind of fail when you defend in a castle in WvWvW and you cant do anything good from up there (I know that we supposed to be in front line and i respect that, but we cant do that either because its kind of pointless 2-3 guardians againt 10-20 enemies and i also know that scepter 3—→2 are very strong but…)
3) Better skills with the shield.
4) Maybe reduce the cooldowns a bit from Virtues and especially lower the seconds of the passive trigger of VoC.
Overall form my experience in PvE, Dungeons , SPvP , WvWvW I am very glad that I picked guardian
How about option to chose from a list of character screens.
*Race themed character screens
*enemy themed character screens
*dark landscapes with scary/spooky music
That would be AWESOME!!! Nice thought!!!
