Hello, is there any difference between the crafted berserker set (that is sold at TP) and the armors you buy at the Master Armourer at WvW?

D/P is great for PvE. High damage and the possibility to keep every enemy next to you in perma-blindness thanks to pistol skill #5 is everything you need to solo most of the mobs. Also dual skill (#3) is great to blind and shadowstep to your target, and it’s also a good burst of damage.

Using shortbow as the other weapon lets you become an aoe ranged DPS, great for Orr group events. I suggest using Signet of Malice (healing skill) in PvE, since skill such as Dagger Storm and the bomb cluster of the shortbow (skill #2) can heal you for more than 1k HP/s if spammed properly in the right points when fighting large groups.

For traits, be sure to take x/30/x/x/10 to start with, then you can add more power or survivability depending on your play style. I personally love 25/30/0/0/15 for ridiculously high damage and since your foes will always be blinded and yourself constantly healed by your own attacks, survivability won’t be such a real problem. In case of need, I can always use Shadow Refuge or Shadowstep (or even Steal on an alone mob) to get out quickly from danger.

Aaah didn’t knew that Karma Jugs could be boosted with Karma Boosters. Too bad I’ve already claimed the Monthly of August. Anyway I’m already around 200k Karma so it won’t be really a problem to get that Soldier’s set.

Also buying the armor from the Armor Master in WvW could not be a problem, since I’ve never spent BoH and I have something like 800+. I’ll check everything. Thank youdzeRnumbrd.

Hello, I’ve taken back my lvl 80 thief a week ago after a long pause from GW2. I’ve read a lot of guides speaking about WvW equipment but I still don’t understand the thing: at the moment my theif is totally devoted to magic find, with complete Errol’s set (Rune of the Eagle set) and orichalcum accessories with magic find jems.

I run a D/P build since I do a lot of PvE but I would like to take it also for W3 (basically roaming in small groups) and now the question is: which equipment I should now go for? I can almost buy every piece of Berseker armor with gold, but I don’t know if it’s the correct choise. Also, I’d also have to pick up a set of Runes, which I don’t know which one to take.

I recently got back into game and I can’t find anywhere where I can get a kite. They look awesome

Hello, whatever I choose CC or PayPal I can’t buy gems from ingame BLTC. The error is always the same “The payment approval has been refused” or somethign very similar. I tried using 2 virtual credits cards (as aI always did and it always worked) but none of them has worked. Hints?

Hello everyone, I have a level 80 Thief and with a friend (a lvl 50 Ranger before quitting and now a level 15~ elementalist) we recently got back into GW2 and we would like to find a Guild which can organize Dungeons and Fractals as well as roaming teams for W3 or just normal exping around the world.

I am experienced in W3 and with the main assets of the game, in a less way my friend, who had to quit some time before me.

In my previous time in GW2 and with other MMOs I also led guilds (in games where I just wanted to have fun) and I also have experience as team-leader in W3/raids. My friend is basically my left hand and we always play as a team, so basically if you find me, you also find him.

We are both from Italy, but we prefer to find an international Guild because we both think that an open-minded guild is better and with less restrictions. We are 21 and we work, so we can play only after 6PM, even if in weekends we usually play more if we aren’t hanging around. I have little more time to play in my free time but sometimes I can’t totally play for days since my work involves travelling the world (basically I can still play if I can get some LAN cables or wi-fi spots but for short times per day).

We are patient, social and friendly and we both write in good, understandable English. We can also join TeamSpeak or whatever software you use to speak when needed.

Our best bet creating this topic is to find a guild with 20/30+ active members but not bigger than 50/60, numbers where there should be always someone to team up with but without the mess of the bigger guilds.

We are currently on Underworld.

just be careful that at lvl 80 you ll need trasmutation CRYSTALS that are hard to find out of the gem shop.

Thanks both, anyway if map completitions remained as 10 months ago I should have some luck and find the Crystals as rewards. Anyway I should even have some left from my first, old main lvl 80 when I started the game

Hello, I just a new character with a friend and to get an already nice look I was thinking of buying one of the armor skins from the Gem Store. Since the character is low level I’m planning to change its armors every 5/10 levels and I was wondering if the skin can be passed from an old armor to a new one in the same way as normal ones, with transmutation stones.
I think there should be no problem in doing that but I just wanted to ask and be sure.

I just recently had an Abyss dye drop for me, the day after I had Black dye drop. Used them both. I like the way Abyss dye looks.

20g can easily be made while dungeon farming. I’ve made half that in about a day of doing CoF runs.

If you like the way something looks, don’t feel compelled to sell it, theres other ways to make gold.

Yes, when I didn’t have a work farming was nothing more than a solution to spend time. Now that I can play something like 2h a day without taking away time from other things farming in so more even an option. Probably even less when I’ll start getting on planes for the most different nations of the world for work, but at that time I’ll earn enought money to buy in gems whatever I’ll need, lols.

No. I can play 2h a day, with my main character I have most of the dyes but since I like to play with my alts too it just sucks to start with the basic dyes, also knowing I’m not going to buy dyes I already have on my main anytime, like white, abyss, midnights.

When you find it at game release, use it, stop playing, then come back months later and find it on BLTC worth 20G or so….

I just re-started playing with my lvl 80 Thief after months of break but BAM! here’s my lovely backstab nerfed! Or that is what I thought, anyway.
Would anyone please be so kind to tell me what does it mean to play Thief now, with what build, major changes.. I’d like to go for a DPS build like the backstabber as in the first months of the game.. thanks!

They call them “queues”. Just queue yourself and do something else while waiting.

Yeah same problem here, with an i5 2500k and an HD6950, 8gm ram. Looks like the render of the players is too slow, sometimes in W3 I run into enemy zergs because I couldn’t see 90-95% of them

A funny moment with my guild, speaking on the mic I said somethin like “ok guys, there is just a put enemy server name here explorer here” then suddenly it happeared a zerg of 50-60 players just next to him and I was like “OMG LOLOLOL sound the retreat”

without spoiling anything, in this quest you have some orbs that are used to open some doors. The problem is that those orbs are also weapons, so if you accidentally drop or switch them, they just disappear leaving you without the key. Pretty annoying ’cause you have to do this al least 3 times (I got the bug at the third door) so you have 3 times the chance to get bugged.
