I still havent heared a logical explanation for this nerf. The patch notes werent really usefull. There is only stated its increase in its effect degree to 110° to “better line up with its effect”.
Was it just nerfed to give guardian no viable option to tag anymore? I would like to hear a answer from Anet please.

Im disappointed in the new specializations. GW2 develops into a direction I dont like. Almost all elites are condi based and deliver to a meta thats already around and makes it even worse. Where is the place of power specs? necros that can condi bomb the crap out of you with clicking a button 3 times is not really motivating at all.

I mainly tested Firebrand. Way to clunky. Cast times on tomes are terrible. Cooldowns are too high. No mobility at all. The F2 and F3 tomes feel undertuned. 300 range cones on the skills in front of the charackter. It doesnt feel good.

Im excited about the new Weaver elite spec for the ele and all the skills the ele gets.
I was wondering if it will be likely for the ele to be viable in WvW solo roaming with this new spec. I saw there are some new 600 range escape skills that would be good to engange/disengage fights. But will that be enough? Or is it just better to stick with a guradian?

the Wave of Wrath is the strongest skill if you are in a zerg because you can simply tag everything that comes along with a 600 range and 5 targets per hit, but I read on the wiki that the Vapor Blade on the elematalist dagger has the same values. I don’t know if the same counts to the radius of the Vapor Blade or if its just a straight line attack, because the Wave of Wrath has a huge horizontal radius.

I’m currently not able to test it out or watch videos about this topic neither can I find any pictures with animations, so I would like to ask if someone can answer me on this topic or test it out.
And is there any other skill similar to the Wave of Wrath?

After a longer break I started to play some WvW again. I was at the eternal borderlands and joined a nearly full commander squad. When I joined I saw 48 people where over 20 were Guardians and nearly 20 necros. The rest were some herlods, warriors and eles, that was it.
Not only this, the commander mentioned that for new squad people they PREFERE more guardians over other classes.

Now my question. How broken can a game get that only 2 classes are really viable?

So.. my idea would be that we keep the 3 Alpine maps, but replace the Edge of the Mist Map with the DBL Map. In addition there are no multiple instances of this Map anymore but still all servers of the same color battle there.

I think no one would complain anymore of how big the DBL Map is. It could be really fun also.

We have 3×1 Personal Story points, 1 Order Point (only 1 of 3 get the point), 4 Dragon story and 3 general points on this tab = 11

I had hopes that the hero achievments could make it a bit easier to me.

I feel sad now.

I want to complete my Tyria Mastery Trees and collect Mastery Points. I saw in the wiki that the Hero achievements contain 25 Mastery Points, but the wiki says I can only obtain 11 Mastery Points from it.

Is that true? I don’t understand the explanation from them:

“Note that for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time a player completes the personal story arc for that level (25 achievements, from which 11 points are obtainable).”

Does it mean if I have 11 Points I can’t obtain any other Mastery Points anymore? If thats so, why are there even 25 Points listed?

I looked it up, yes they maxed out my hero points at Tyria. I can still consume them, if you are not patient at that you can waste a huge amount of Proof of Heroics. That really should be fixed soon!

Yesterday I bought about 200 Scrolls of Heroics in WvW for my warrior to unlock the Berserker Traits and Skills. I used all Scrolls and after about 100 Scrolls (I gained the hero points there) I didnt get hero points anymore. I used the Scrolls, but they just disappeared from my inventory.

I get the amount of HP to complete the Berserker Tree about 75%, not more.
After relogging I bought additional Scrolls and I still didnt get any points with that charackter.

I wasted about 150 – 200 Proof of Heroics which is pretty annoying now!
