I dont think we saw it through Scarlet’s eyes. It is the same vision for all races, it’s just really what the eternal alchemy is. The order the orbs were light doesn’t matter at all, more important is that all light up and danced around the tree until the green orb goes in to"corrupt" the tree. Is the green orb the only one that can corrupt the tree? What’s its motive to do so?That’s far more interesting.
Also in the first three parts of GW1 there wasn’t a Pale Tree, there were also no Elder Dragon. There is definitely a very deep connection with all of this.
When you talk to the Pale Tree as a Sylvari, she says:
“Just as the forest fire uses its destructive force to make way for new growth, so the Elder Dragons raze Tyria.” It sounds like it is just a natural process, now the question is, what if the Elder Dragons are stopped? Will worse appear? Sorry about the rambling
What I just found very confusing/annoying about this fight was the fact that you have all your companions who even warn you before the fight to protect the Master of Peace and take down Aerin as fast as possible, but once the fight starts they just kill pointless worms. They are doing no help for the actual fight, which is the main reason why it drags out so long. I mean after the first time playing it you know it’s basically gonna be a 1vs1 boss fight and you can skill accordingly, but on my first try I expected my companions to help out, like in any other mission. So I went damage/support. I agree it isn’t the hardest fight, I just didnt expect it to turn into a 1vs1 thing.
