Wish they’d make it a toggle. I don’t play casters to not have my spells looking flashy and impressive… but I wouldn’t mind the e-sport lovers having the option of turning them down. I simply detest the fact that these currently unwelcome new faces are being catered to while the rest of us are disregarded entirely. In fact it kind of leaves me upset and vindictive towards them.

This does need some official attention. Why crap on the majority of your fanbase in favor of these select few?

Funny how the visuals of so many spells are getting ruined because it’s cluttering up the view for those e-sport twits but they can clutter up our screen with their garbage constantly.

This is a horrible decision. Always got to love how e-sports somehow ends up stepping all over the good time of the people who couldn’t care less about that stupidity. Wish they’d stay out of our games and find something else to ruin.

Outfit still evolving but growing somewhat content.

This sorta nonsense bothers me on a deep level and is a lot of why I make no effort to hide my intolerance for the sort of pvpers who whine at every little thing they think might give someone else an advantage (Oh it’s too shiny! Distracts me! Bawww!) regardless of how much it steps on the fun of others.

What really upsets me is that MMO devs keep putting the binky back in the mouths of these little humanoid potatoes.

There’s another game with this issue. That game’s devs don’t endorse their use and they’re technically against the rules but they only act towards users if someone’s harassing someone through data they gained using one. Good system if you ask me.

It also keeps you from having to deal with that one moron pug who spams team chat with his recount numbers like his… ego’s size behind the computer depended on his doing it.

Sounds like you just got outplayed, OP. Learn, adapt, and better yourself or throw a hissy fit on the forums… your choice.

What I think is the best races for a Revenant.

Got this right at the end of hearts and minds. I trust we’ll be getting some manner of compensation for all the problems we’ve had to endure with this horrid launch or did I miss where it said I paid for HoT beta?

Main hand pistol would be my choice. We already have way more offhands than we have main hands. Maces and axes are brutish weapons, in my opinion, and don’t suit the mesmer elegance too well I feel.

But ya. We’ll prolly get shield for even more offhands. x.x

Alt tabbing and spending money you’d otherwise spend on gems towards the subscription to a game that at least pretends to understand the concept of balance.

This coming from a mesmer main with a necro ‘first alt’.

Wow. Take the class that’s bottom of the barrel and gut ‘em worse. Why does the balance team still have a job? If I screwed up that bad I’d of been fired instantly. This is just pathetic.

I’d most certainly like to see Cantha and Elona as well. Factions was my favorite guild wars expansion by and far. This game feels somewhat empty in a way without it’s presence.

A tiny smattering of attentiveness goes a long way. Calm down, don’t let the mesmer magic freak you out or confuse you. That’s what they want. Look for the one not firing a single auto-attack every five seconds. If that’s not enough then look for the one that’s actually moving and dodging instead of standing there like a mob with the worst AI ever. If that’s too difficult then I’m afraid you deserve to lose… sorry. Also… If you’re having trouble pinning a mesmer (or any class) down in melee? Swap to a ranged weapon set. Every class has at least one ranged option. And while I’m at it… the fact that you can’t CC someone flawlessly for an easy, cheap kill doesn’t mean it’s impossible to kill them.
