I am advocating for my main class here, so there is bias, but I think necro needs more tuning for high end pve content. Currently it has a position where it’s all but undesirable for raids because everything it can do, another class can do better, while bringing more to the table.

The buffs to both power and condi necro are appreciated and definitely a step in the right direction, but currently the utility that necro provides and its inherent high health pool are not large enough advantages to make it a serious consideration especially with DPS and Utility being the major priorities in raids.

However, in wvw, necros seem to be a staple, which makes balancing tricky. If, say, shroud is an main issue preventing more offensive or utility oriented buffs, would there be a way to skill split it or similar?

We’re a PvX guild with a focus on PvE. We can give guidance on PvP and WvW, also.

Our major and most important rule is “don’t be a jerk.”

We do Tequatl daily at 4:30PM PST with the JQTeq alliance and our most active times range from about 9AM PST-11PM PST. We also run guild missions twice a week at roughly 7PM PST. We’re also going to have some Halloween-themed guild events over the next couple of months.

We also run dungeons, fractals, do world bosses, have buffs, etc.

We’re a laid-back and often mature guild. You’ll probably see us goof off or make silly jokes or innuendo, but we try our best to respect and help each other. We value good communication and try to resolve issues by mediation and talking.

We have a teamspeak server for our members to use. There is also a website, but it is being redesigned. Real life happens, so we don’t have a required participation minimum, but we currently do require 50% rep.

Ohhhmaigosh I am totally going to be contacting you now that is amazing.

I imagine they’d lose a lot more than the 2000+ dollars you contributed over your lifetime in about a week if they lifted these restrictions. 30 days is a lot, and it does suck having to wait, but ultimately they are not out to irritate you personally.

I rather prefer having to be restricted for a month to help ensure that the overall game is healthy, so that I can continue to play it in the future.

I think part of it is that white hair goes well with anything, Makeover kits aren’t TOO expensive, but if you like to change your color scheme a lot, it can feel like you’re locked into a certain set of colors. Black is also the same, but it doesn’t really have as much depth to it.

Also, for humans, most of the hair colors are actually normal IRL. White is one of the more fantastical colors, so I can see why some might like it.

Well, most people play games in order to have fun. If you have fun making alts, then I don’t think you’re wasting your time. As long as you aren’t hurting anyone else you should feel free to play the game however the heck you want to.

I like alts. Sometimes the journey is more fun than the destination—and when you get everything up to par, it’s very nice to have lots of options.

There is one single POI in the Chantry of secrets, which is an instance in bloodtide coast. I’d bet a few buck that that’s the on you’re missing.
