it’s going to be so nice to finaly be able to find a group for something else than CoF and the endless spamm for CoF LFG’s, other LFG’s drown in CoF.

Why not have a vendor that gives you an option to exchange one weapon for another weapon, say a Greatsword for the Hammer or any other weapon. It will still be as hard to get a weapon, but when you first get one, you’ll be able to get the one you want. A friend of mine has 3 fractal pistols, c’mon, wtf, she dosen’t even play any class that uses them.

Yes, this is correct. Pve is what I was asking for.

Is there any good Sword Main Hand builds out there? I’m getting closer to my Bolt, and I want to know if the sword can be on par or atleast somewhat close to the axe/mace-GS combo dps. I really like the sword as a weapon, and Bolt is one of the best looking legendaries out there. I don’t want to make it and then be told to use an axe all the time.

I don’t know if my problem is related to yours but I have a problem with my gw2 client. It crashes everytime I try to launch it. I get past the log in and the patch check but as soon at it is going to show my character, it crashes and I get an error log. I’m talking to support and they have asked me to do a few things, yet to get a reply by the time I’m writing this.

I play on NA Blackgate but I live in EU(Norway).

Same storry as everyone above. Lost one point to all maxed Slayer, Weapon Master, Gold Hoarder, Overkill, Master Carver achievments and others that I havent looked at. Total loss of achievment points is 110 points. I was 10 points away from 4k points :/ This really sucks, getting a 300k hit is not an easy thing on a guardian that is now my main.

I’ve been having somewhat the same problem. People are talking in GC and when I hower over their name, it shows them as offline. Also, people I have on my friends list are offline if I hower over their name.
But, as soon as I open my friends list (y), it takes 2 seconds, then when I hower, they show as online, same with the guild (g) when I open the guild roster.

It can be very annoying when I want to invite them to a party, since I don’t get an option to “Invite to party”.

If it is a CC then "Save Yourself” should have broken it. It’s in here cause something, as far as I know, didn’t work.

The other day I was doing the wvw JP in EB. I got to the end of it, collected my reward and stood there just looking around. Suddenly I see a hostile charr warrior, he got to the end where I was standing. I had no intentions to kill him but he had other plans. He walked up to me and feared me.

As far as I’m concerned fear is a condition. On my guardian, as I was at this time, I have 6/6 Superior Rune of the Soldier, which removes conditions on shout. I have 3 shouts on my bar.

So, as soon as he feared me I used “Save Yourself”, still feared. I thought it was weird, Next up was “Hold the Line”, just milliseconds after I used Save Yourself, still feared. I desperately used “Retreat”, still feared and I walked off the cliff due to the fear.

Now my question is, why did the fear not go off me.? As far as I’ve noticed the rune works all time but now.

We need: Polearm, Two-Handed axe, Spear on land and classes need to be able to use more weapond then they already can use. Also, what if weapons had more then the 5 skills available. Like with your utility skills, they can be swapable out of combat.

Only a guardian will be happy for the new aoe nerf that’s coming.

People just need to learn how to optimize their class and it will take more skilled players to do this now.

I did some research, it seems like it happends when you switch weapon in battle and while the CD for the switch weapon is going, you exit battle and it buggs 1/4 times, give or take. But that is when/how it happends to me.

I have had this happen a few times. Very random and very seldom so I can’t pinpoint what might be causing it. The swap button will remain greyed out and unusable until you are able to trick the system into swapping weapons by getting out of combat or fussing with the hero panel.

In my case, it will remain greyed out untill I got o the hero panel and manually swap, no matter if I’m in or out of combat. I have not tried loging off to see if it fixes it.

As the title says, my swap weapon button sometimes gets greyed out and it can’t be used. I have to go in to the hero panel and manually click the swap weapon button in there to fix it.

Not sure how or when it happends, but I tend to notice it when I want to swap weapons mid battle. it can be very annoying. Anyone else have this problem?

I, for one, do not really care for my personal storry and lore when it comes to race. I want to be able to change my race.

I’ve had the same thing happend to me too. Out of nowhere this sound comes and I’m left scratching my head wondering wtf that was.

So what do you need badges for, a legendary? So say you do actually need it for a legedary, and maybe even you want it for some of the gear/weapons you can buy.

Since scrubs like me go there, and you kill us for badges, how does this make you less of a scrub? Can’t you go you into the world and actually help the team out, since you are so damn pro.

And, btw, this is not a cry post, just a question with content to it, that needs an explanation.

There is nothing ‘pro’ about mindlessly zerging around tagging enemies.
I enjoy the smaller scale pvp that the EB jumping puzzle provides. I also enjoy frustrating people too.

Inb4 “if you like smaller scale pvp, go play tPvP.” <— I do play it as well.

Ok, sure, you like small scale pvp. But 9/10 times I’ve been killed it’s been from above with no possible way to hit back before getting up there to them. And again, there is always 2+ people killing me, so by the time I’m up there I’m almost dead, if I’m so lucky to get up.

@Katsumoto.9452 I can see that doing wvw activly will grant you enough badges within a week or more. But I can not stand pvp, just going into wvw to get my monthly done is a nightmere for me. I would rather walk around in Orr for a day and getting pulled around lige a rag doll then go into wvw. See my pain?

@Katsumoto.9452 Creatures in pve environment are rarely a problem, easy to kill, and the crap you get from finishing a pve JP is crap and is not used for any legendaries.

So, Jumping puzzles. I, for one, hate pvp. And I’m no big fan on the jumping puzzles, but I think they are ok. Therefor doing a pvp jumping puzzle is no ideal situation for me.

I need to do the jumping puzzles in the Borderlands and EB to get enough Badges for my legendary. I know it’s pvp but still, why do people insist to kill other people in the jumping puzzles? Especially in the EB JP. 2/3 times I try to do the JP in EB there are always 2+ people there killing other people. This drived me mad.

I get it, it’s wvw, pvp, but it’s in a closed off area with no connection to the rest of the wvw map. People go there to get the badges/achievement, not to fight other people.

I can see that some people are so bad in pvp/wvw that their only way of getting the monthly is to go and kill people in the JP’s who’s intention so to jump. Don’t even get me started on the PvE monthly where you need to do PvP to get, there is already a PvP monthly. Enough about that.

Can’t people do like me, and keep the kitten away from other people in the JP’s, no matter if it’s in the borderlands or EB.

This is not ment to be an angry post just trying to get an explanation.

I know this issue has been answered before but I still hava question.

The guild I’m in(Army of Lightness [AoL]) has had it’s bank robbed by the Guild Lord who got his account hacked. The hacker(s) took anything that was worth anything out of the bank and now its all gone. Of course we just started a lottery in the guild so the bank was loaded with goodies.

So my question is.

Can’t Anet give things back since there is so roll back function yet? You have proof that the GL was hacked(he got his account back) and the Guild Bank Log can’t be manipulated and it shows that the GL’s account took stuff out of there, in the time frame that he was hacked.

So, my problem is that every time I boot up my game and log in or every time I map into a new map after being in one map a while I get extremely bad fps. As bad as 1fps for 5-6 sec, but it only happens if I turn my camera. If I just run straight after mapping/loging in its not a problem but as soon as I start looking around with the camera it lags out.

My system specs are:

ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2GB PhysX CUDA DirectCU II TOP

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor (Overclocked to 4.4 GHz)

8GB ram 1333MHz

The game is being run from an Intel SSD 120GB 330 Series

To be sure it’s not my graphics card or prossessor, I really didn’t think it was anything wrong with my hardware, but to be on the safe side, I monitored the performance and as far as I can see, there is no spike anywhere else then when I boot up my game and it’s stabile at that trough out my gaming session.

nVidia Drivers are up to date, no beta drivers. It is like this whether I’m on high settings or lower.

Ram usage is at max 85% while I’m running my usual programs on a normal day.

Not sure what else could be relevant but I thought it is worth telling you guys about it.

Hello, I am planing on giving somewhere aroung 50g to a long time frind who lives in the US, I live in Europe. There is no store where I live that I can buy gem cards from. Will it be safe for me to mail 50g and not get banned or something like that?

When will we be able to change our name of our characters?

Yeah…. downed maybe 20-25 times died maybe 10 times. had to repeir broken armor twice. Revived playes more then I damaged the mobs. Not to mention the facerolling karkas rolling over everyones bodies.

I agree with you, OP. I was in the event from the very beginning to the end. I got crap loot. Bearly enough silver to cover the cost to TP out after death and repair. And I know of people who just got there 10 minutes before it ended and got precursors and even two precursors. A friend of mine got the Tooth of Frostfang, thats how much on the TP, 100g? Well….

I’m not too sure 40% of people got precursors, but still, a lot of people did get them. And if it is, as you say, that people with trail accounts got precursors, thats bs.

The bag that everyone got was cool and useful loot, but the rest that was random was not fair. Drop chance should be like the revard level in events, the more you participate the higher drop rate you get, not flat drop rate no matter how early or late you arrived. Not pissed, just annoyed and slightly jealous.

The trading Post works fine most of the time, but now and then it does not work. I open it search for something then the first page of items pop up and then it’s stuck on “loading”.

I see the items, but the yellow load circle just keeps spinning around and around. I can’t interact with the items, I can search again but same thing, it’s not a particular item. This happends when I use both the filters and search for a lot of items within a range or a certain item with name.

The only thing I’ve seen working is basicly to just close the trading post and look back in a bit too see it it’s working again. I’m not sure it is due to server lag, lag on my side or maybe something else I’m not aware of.

This spot is over farmed. I hit the DR almost immediately.

I would maybe get 2 or so in 40-50 min then grey loot rest of the day(110% ish MF). Other places like the minotaur potent blood farm, is almost impossible to hit the DR after 3 hours of farming. Not to mention the 4-5 bots running arround all day long.

Yep, I’ve had the same experiance as you have. And sometimes my male character has a female voice, there isn’t any players around either.

This is a problem I’ve encountered at least a few times. The problem is that when I’m playing the game, no particular place or thing I’m doing, the usual sound of music and effect gets muted and this wierd sound replaces it.

It’s hard to explain but it’s this sound that changes frequency, it is the same tone as far as I can hear. It goes from a high pitch to low and back again over and over again, untill I close gw2.. And the sound is only on the left speaker on my headphones. The only thing i know of that will fix it is to close gw2. I have looked at the in game sound options while this sound was going and there was no change in the sound options.

This happend im Cursed Shore and Wayfarer Foothills that I can remeber, and mostly during events.

I don’t think it is a problem with my computer since everything else sound related works fine. My music keeps playing as it was and Skype/TeamSpeak works fine aswell. My headphones are ok, these are new and the problem occured with my old headphones as well. I have reported it as a bug but I wanted to know if I’m the only one.
