Still no Ascended items for the second class citizens of WvW…

So EB JP is going to be its own zone… Sweet, now we can camp the zone-in portals, but can you zone due to combat? Interested to see the implementation.

I moved over to SoR from YB a little over a month ago. Since then I have found SoR to be one of the few servers, maybe the only one, where guys/gals/guilds get up at 6 A.M., on their days off on weekends, to support the Oceanic/Asia players out of appreciation and respect for those taking leaps of faith to settle on SoR. That says a great deal…

Very disappointing… Culling fix was great, but for the most part this “WvW patch” was a PvE patch and still no Ascended gear for the WvW players. Where’s the equal opportunity? I thought this was Guild Wars, not PvE for Carrots.

Whether Anet likes it or not, WvW is the endgame. Ascended gear attainable in PvE should be attainable, by the same means, in WvW whether it be chances for ascended drops off of Garrison Commanders, or Keep/Garrrison Commanders dropping the equivalent of fractal relics so they can be bought just like they are off of vendors in FoTM. Anything less is unacceptable, and could contribute to attrition from the game. I don’t want to farm/buy ectos, or wait 3 months for a couple of pieces from slowly gathering laurels. There should be equal opportunity for players in WvW, if not moreso than PvE, since the game’s only saving grace is WvW.

I fail to understand why they treat PvE players and WvW players differently, and not as equals. Until Ascended gear is available to the WvW community it seems as if you’re treating them as second class players, and you’re catering to PvE which is underwhelming at best.

I’ve got no complaints Deth. Myself, and about a group of our WvWers, moved over to SoR a few weeks ago from Yak’s Bend, but being an old Phoenix Throne <Bad Moon> I’d played with, or against, most of these guys and knew how capable they were. I’ve also came across some other old Yak’s Benders while I’ve been over here, some were our old commanders like Prophet Saladin. Overall, I’ve found SoR to be much more organized, competent, and united. I wish we would’ve transfered earlier so we didn’t have to leave our PvEers/inactives, and all that influence, over on YB.

BG & JQ are excellent at running up the score fighting early morning phantoms, not so much during the competitive hours.

BG has caught up. Getting those 300-400pt ticks while people, actually from NA, are at work; nothing that wasn’t expected.

You’ll see some auto-attacking, jumping, and evading inside garrisons because those who’ve been here all along are not going to step out, to be re-queued, for fair weather WvWers.

You’re going to see people AFK a lot more in keeps, running macro programs on their keyboards, and unless they’re logging for the night they won’t come out of the BL’s. This has already become a discussion amongst those I’ve spoken with.

In regard to AoE’s busting up enemy zergs & D/D Ele’s, I’d concur with Bunzy and Covenn. If anyone should know what AoE can do for you, it would be an ex-Irony Bright Wizard. We used to run Magus pull groups just to bust up zergs with AoE, take off the cap.

Sov I don’t doubt that. We have a great deal of PvE’rs & fair weather WvWers. Hell, even after a few hours of watching our zergs pound on Hills, knowing seige is being built in opportune places to wipe them, and then watching it happen, I just ride the lightning out and shake my head sometimes.

Yak needs more night time player we lost this week cuz everytime we go sleep bam map is taken until about 1-2 PM next day . now im seeing what a mistake it was changing server from CD lol.

lol, how did you not know this? We Benders have been honest and forthcoming about our lack of a night presence in every thread since forever.

I’m with Rezzet on this. I’m getting tired of losing to coverage, and having a 10k+pt lead to wake up with us losing. I’ve just about come to the conclusion that I’d rather sit in queue’s for 1-2hrs, and lose to better players, than lose because of server population.

Sup Indo, Covenn, Daboss, TW/Vigilance. As an old Bad Moon(Niles/Nialls PT/Gorfang) I’ve been wanting to move, but out of loyalty to my current guild haven’t; been playing with Bloodbreff. I’ve been trying to get Ravensbrow/Maclir to pick up GW2 also, and he’s asking if “the old PT guilds that were competent” are playing, heh. Saw a couple TW guys in an overflow, got your TS info, so may drop in at some point to see what’s up.
