I have had this issue quite a few times in the past and have encountered the error once again… It’s really frustrating because I ALWAYS get this error when I want something from the gem shop that’s limited time. -_- Can I get a quick fix or something, please?

Is anyone else wondering why the heck you get a lvl 76 piece of gear from the cache you get from map completion? I think that’s absolutely dumb in a lvl 80 area.
Edit: To clarify, the weapons I got on my two characters and my friend got on his character were lvl 76 and exotic.
The Tempest’s shoulder piece is not listed as one of the achievements needed to complete this collection. Instead, there are two Machined Warhorns on there. One of them says it’s unlocked by completing the specialization but I have been unable to unlock it after doing so because it must have the wrong trigger.
I attached a pic to better explain what’s wrong.
There are quite a few bugs in the story that involve getting into combat with a monster that was introduced in a previous step that cause the story to stop progressing.
One example being killing the security golems in Rata Novus after you’ve activated the ley line consoles and started following Taimi.
Another example is in the mission where you activate the ley line map when you fight through a few mordrem to get to Taimi. Once you’ve activated the map and, if there are still mordrem guards from the triggered traps in the previous step and you attack them, the story will cease to progress.
I believe a similar issue happens when I suddenly enter combat on the story mission, “Sign Cutting” while simultaneously discovering one of Rox’s trail markers.
I have the same issue and I’d like to add on that I was put into combat almost exactly as I discovered the second clue.
Also, why is there no specific category for Story related bugs on the report a bug feature in-game? Pretty dumb how I have to come here instead of reporting it in-game and moving on.
I need some company here on HoT and I haven’t belonged to an active guild for a long time. I’m looking for a small guild, preferably less than 75 active members, to enjoy the game with. I play this game pretty casually and I’m looking for others who think the same!

Hello, I am a random forum user and I am going to tell the people that make video games how to balance said video game. Oh yeah, don’t forget to add all of my completely biased assumptions on what the class should be because I can only play one playstyle and I have no imagination whatsoever. While we’re at it, let’s add a comment like “See?! Devs of games, ESPECIALLY Anet don’t EVER listen to me!! I am important!!!!” -proceeds to throw tantrum- Now, after careful analysis, and by that I mean briefly looking over the traits, abilities, and stats, as well as only playing the class for about an hour, these are the changes you guys should make, because I am right. I know more than you guys do so implement these changes now or I will continue to torment you by furiously typing out hate messages on the forums and amassing a huge following of other like-minded individuals.
Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention, I main this class and I don’t think it’s strong enough compared to the other classes. It’s not fair that I can’t be the top of the top when it comes to people deciding between classes. I swear, it’s like you’re trying to give me some other unique power instead of further increasing my strengths and that’s stupid!!

Hello, everyone! I’m trying to create a guild where we can all be friends and enjoy the game and all of its content together. I’m mostly looking for new players but anyone is welcome to join! This is a completely fresh guild and I’m hoping to house a ton of new (and potentially veteran) players who haven’t yet found a home. Together, we will level up the guild and watch it grow.
Main Focus: To enjoy Guild Wars 2 to the fullest. This could mean tackling dungeons a different way than the zerker meta or roaming around in WvW to rack up some points. Whatever we can think of will be our focus.
I want this to be a guild where every member works together to keep this game from going stale before and after level 80. I’m currently leveling another character so feel free to whisper me in-game (type /w niteslayr.4563).

The Juggernaut trait in the firearms trait tree is not working properly for the engineer.
Expected Result:
Effect 1 – Gain 21 seconds of might every three seconds.
Effect 2 – Gain 200 toughness when wielding a flamethrower.
Observed Result:
Effect 1 – works properly
Effect 2 – does not appear to be working OR it does not show up in the engineer’s stat window
Normally, I would be patient with responses to bug reports but this is a PRETTY significant issue considering you’re having a timed sale on exclusive items. The way I see it is that you’re losing out on quite a bit of money while, simultaneously, certain users are getting upset because they were unable to purchase your limited time items.
Hooray! It has been close to a whole day with no response and I wasn’t able to get the black wings because they were a limited time only item = )))) Thanks ArenaNet! I was looking forward to coming back for this expansion but maybe I shouldn’t because of the lack of support for this issue that many users are having.
I’m having the same exact issue. I really wish ArenaNet would respond to this because there is only 10 hours left on those wings and I REALLY want them. I’ll be really annoyed if I end up not being able to purchase them because of some stupid error that shouldn’t even be happening.
Just a small bug but it repeats its attack sound 2 more times after the initial attack.
When I use my blink skill to get in or out of a field that detects collision for the character passing through (examples being guardian’s skill “Ring of Warding” or an elementalists’ “Static Field”) I still get hit with the effect, despite not actually touching it.
Examples:
- I will blink out from the middle of a static field to an area away from it and I will still get stunned.
- On the fight against Lupicus in Arah, I will blink out of his skill that traps the player inside of a bubble and at the end of the blink, I will be knocked down.
This has been around a looong time and I really hope it isn’t intentional.
Oh well I’m not stressing too much about it. It just feels kinda lame to have to do another dungeon even though I didn’t technically “die.”
I don’t know if this is intended or not but I didn’t get the achievement because I was downed once in the dungeon. I was able to rally off of the enemy but I didn’t get the achievement at the end of the dungeon.
Sometimes when you attack a monster that is really close to a wall, with either the lightning or earth attunement’s basic attack, the attack will not hit the enemy.
A similar issue happens with some yellow breakable objects. One of these objects are the things you have to break for the underwater event at Jeztar Falls, in Metrica Province. I have to change attunements to be able to damage the things that need to be destroyed. I believe that, for a new player, this could be a little annoying.

To add on to meow’s list, I believe it could even be a section of the map that you may be missing.
Whenever I use the mortar elite skill for the engineer, sometimes the skills do not properly initiate, despite the fact that the skill has cooled down. An example of this is I’ll be firing the basic shot from the mortar perfectly fine until after about 2 or 3 shots. After those shots, it will not initiate the skill until 1-2seconds after. In addition, if you have initiated the skill 3 or more times while it is in that “lag zone” it will fire 3 shots very quickly.
I’m not sure if this is intentional or not but it is very frustrating when you’re trying to fire the mortar rounds and it just becomes unresponsive. This is especially true if you were to use the caltrops mortar in conjunction with other mortar types. What if the enemy gets out of the caltrops while your mortar is lagging it out?
Yeah that’s true I was just throwing the idea out.
I wasn’t able to really convey my main point and back it up with evidence etc well because it wouldn’t matter to me whether it’s faster or not. I just wanted to see what people had to offer in response and you’re probably right it might be overpowered if it were to go faster.
Again, it was just an idea and I really just wanted to see people’s responses I will continue to use the off-hand sword as my main off-hand weapon in PvE regardless of what happens because it’s a playstyle that I’ve become used to.

Weapon: Off-hand Sword
I just felt like putting this idea out there but it feels like the mesmer’s off-hand sword skill, Illusionary Riposte, is extremely slow at casting its counter move after a successful block. This causes the user to be vulnerable to attack for about a second/half a second or so (unless he/she dodges instead) and does not seem to follow the idea that swords on a mesmer are for dueling single enemies, meaning quick responses to the others’ moves.
Again, it’s just an idea that I felt like throwing out there and would make the off-hand sword a more selected weapon for a mesmer to have, since I’ve seen very few that use it.
Off-topic idea (kinda)
Perhaps the trait that allows +50 precision could carry on to the off-hand sword as well as the main hand sword.
