Noob warrior here wondering what allows a warrior to be so pve solo effective? I’m only 30 on the warr, but it doesnt seem to be handling nearly what my guard could, even at this low level.
I read all kinds of good things about warr solo ability, etc so I was hoping someone could explain a little about it.
Thanks for the answers all!
I havent played in a while but I previously joined a pug for everything I did I was using a cleric guard with AH. That worked out well due to the varied skill levels of pug members. So all the support helped out more often than not.
So I guess I should have put the question in the context of for pugs, world completion, pve events, and jumping in the zerg. I’m pretty casual and time restricted so I will never be super concerned about being pro.
What is the general consensus on the profession that does well in every area of the game? Ideally I want to mostly wvw, pve, dungeons, etc.
Returning after a long time away, couldn’t find anything as fun as GW2 out there. I have an 80 guard and 55 ranger, rolled a warr to get my head back in the game and relearn everything that dripped out.
Looking for decently populated guilds on Darkhaven, I’m normally on from 8pm-midnight(or later) central time everyday and sometimes randomly throughout the day.
I definitely will need to get my learn on again when it comes to dungeons, fractals, and pvp/wvwvw, but I’m a sponge. (34 irl for age restricted guilds)
I havent played in months and the last build I was using was in the forums as something like “healway guard”. It did decent dps while dumping out healing with almost every action, making it great in groups.
What are the top PvE builds these days? I’ve read through the first 6 pages, but info seems to be scattered.
I’ve been reading a ton of posts since its slow during the holidays at work. I’m a new player to gw2. I took advantage of the sale and jumped in.
From what I’m reading the only professions I should bother with are Warrior, Guardian, or Elementalist if I want to do high level dungeon running. How valid is this information?
Ran AC exp path 2 with a guild group at level 50 and my pets were just taking a beating. Started using wolves and they were usually down or very low on hp in seconds. Switched to bears and they survived a little better, but the amount of micro management the pet needed to stay alive really sucked.
Is this how pets are in dungeons at 80? It was so unenjoyable I’ve started reading other profession forums and thinking about making a new main.
gw noob here.
I’m looking for a build to work towards as I level, only 10 atm.
I’ve been using shortbow & longbow and spike trap, but not really sure what skills to grab.
Are there other weapons that will make life easier early on?
I came across some guides, but most of them appear to be before the last patch, that from what I’ve read made some impactful changes.
