I have about four boosted characters to lvl 80. Yet I hardly ever touch them because it’s such a pain in the butt to have a fully levelled character without any waypoints at all. It means a lot of running. A lot of time spent doing nothing but going from point A to point B.

What I would love to see if an item that will unlock all vanilla GW2 Waypoints. Nothing else of that zone. Just the WP’s. So we can at least make our way around on new characters the way we’re used to with our old ones.

Here’s a solution to your problem. I use this for every stack of items I have. Be it tons of luck, tons of bags of loot, tons of trick or treat bags.

Step 1: Get Autohotkey. You probably have it if you have an instrument already.

Step 2: Make a new .txt file.

Step 3: Paste the following code in the txt file:

Pause
Loop
{
MouseClick, left
}
Pause::Pause

Step 4: Save the txt file ,change the extension to .ahk instead.

Step 5: Doubleclick the .ahk file.

Step 6: Go to Guild Wars 2, hold your mouse over the trick or treat bags. And then press the ‘pause’ key on your keyboard.

This will toggle a click spam you can’t imagine. You can turn it off again by pressing the ‘pause’ key once more. Enjoy your wall of loot!

This makes me utterly uncomfortable to ask for stuff… But I’m without a job at the moment and times are tight. Would still really really really like the black wings backpack and glider combo though. If anyone wants, I can give services back such as help with levelling an alt or dungeon runs.

I find this an odd post and something that deserves a little bit of attention. RP’ers are supposed to be the best of the community and not just shun people who know what they’re doing for the heck of it. However I would love a bit more information on how you tried to bring yourself forward in the RP. What sort of emotes did your character do? What did you say? It’s all a bit vague.

You must understand that the RP community, albeit rather small, is divided in what style of RP they want to do. If you go outside of the style of that particlair group, which I don’t think you have since you’ve observed before joining, then you do run the risk of being “One of them…” and not “One of us.”. Not good, for sure.

But yeah, give me some more information. I’ve often joined in with a character with no guild tag, and without anyone knowing the character. I’ve found that it was easy and that I was welcome. So I’d like to know exactly what you did that made people react that way.

I’ve recently returned to my elementalist. Last time I played her was about three years ago. As soon as I hit lvl 80 with her I couldn’t afford exotic gear for her so went back to my thief. Now I wanna play her again! Only… I’ve completely forgotten how to!

I want to keep using my staff, but I have no idea about rotations and everything. Everything feels alien to me! Who can help me with a few pointers in the right direction without having to completely make a new elementalist? :P

Doesn’t really give any toughness though… Isn’t that kinda important?

So I am finally sitting down and farming for ascended gear. I want to have the most enjoyable thief performance possible. And it needs to be a bit balanced for WvWvW and PVE like dungeons, fractals, raids, and general event running in maps. Now I am thinking about the following:

- Full berserkers jewelry + Back item;
- Full bersekers weapons (D/D for PVE, D/P for WvWvW)
- Full Sentinel Armor

Which would make my mistakes forgiveable due to a bit more survivability than just full on zerk. But with the zerk stuff around it I hope to at least be close to good DPS as well.

What do you guys think? I am not using a staff since I don’t think that is fun gameplay. Daredevil really doesn’t do it for me.

It is indeed frustrating Teranar. Though all they need to do is show us the instance list. The home worlds are just for wvwvw now anyway. The instance lists actually -are- there already, but if we get to choose, we could always designate a certain instance to RP.

The solution could be simple, as far as I know. Would love to hear something back about this.

I am a player from Piken Square who enjoys to dabble in a bit of roleplay every now and then. Though when I go into Divinity’s Reach to see what’s happening, there are events where I am isolated from the main portion of Divinity’s Reach that belongs to my home realm. So, instead of seeing a bristling and fun RP community interacting off each other I instead see empty cobblestone streets and the occasional bunnyhopping player come by.

There is a solution, of course. Add someone who is in the good part of the server to a party, and teleport to him/her. Though I don’t have many friends I can call upon to be my porting point. Would it be an idea to add a certain instance list like in Guild Wars 1? So the RP’ers can choose, for example, to always RP in Instance #3. That way we always have a way to find each other and it shouldn’t be the most populated one either.

Yeah I had this same problem. I even tried to send a new thiefs hood to my character. That wasn’t an option so I instead opened a ticket asking if they could recover the item for me. Or what their policy on that situation atleast. Here is what I received:
