Will facilitate botting (multi-boxing) so this would be a bad idea.
i don’t know arenaNet stance on Multiboxing (wich is not boting btw) but who cares boters will find a way let the banhammer take care of them
-Duels
Will be highly unbalanced, people will complain about it endlessly. If the balance for 1v1 combat is addressed it could dramatically alter the balance of the entire game.
Everything else sounds good, though.
ArenaNet can always take the stance Blizzard took on Duels (and WPVP), that is: PVP is not balanced on 1v1 stop crying and go do some arenas with a friend
First of all there are a handful of targeting bugs that we are addressing right now.
Once those are solved we will try and design a stickier targeting option for those players that want to keep their target a little bit better.
Personal tip since this happens to me a lot. I lose my target a lot because I am ground targeting and click a bunch of times to fire it off, after the skill has fired, the subsequent left clicks end up deselecting. I have started using my mouse to aim, but double tapping any ground target skills on the keyboard which has mitigated a lot of my issues.

Target Nearest enemy (only mobs not turrets/racks of weapons)
Target Nearest enemy player (only other players not theirs pets)
edit: also tab targeting should work only on 90 degrees in front of you character
