Is just having a small 2 person team on your side you get chosen to fight against a full premade guild team?
I’ve always seen it as a minority vote map with only 1 or 2 people voting for it.
Great stuff people It also encouraged me to do an alt groupie.
Here are my lvl 80’s from left to right: guardian, engi, ranger, necro, mesmer, eli, thief and warrior.
If no fix is released tonight, I’ll try the suggested methods and see if it bugs again. Today, I managed to do my dailies, dungeons, world events etc with receiving the proper rewards
If you want to apply a skin from a wardrobe collection to overwrite an item’s appearance you are currently wearing, you use a transmutation charge.
If you got equipment in your inventory and want to switch with what your character is wearing, you can just double click it in inventory, or hero panel (h) > equipment.
Hope that helps
ok here is a theory after reading through all of the many pages on the forum about this issue. it appears to be caused by the megaservers. and since everything is account bound now, it seems to me if one of your characters is on a megaserver and one is not, then you might be having a problem with the resets. some people claimed that all of a sudden their accounts started to work fine, but the devs had gone home for the weekend and were not going to fix the issue until begining of next week. I had two of my characters on megaservers over the last few days because i don’t play them that often and two that weren’t. so today in about 3 hours and 30 minutes i will see if my theory is correct as i have moved them all to vigil keep
I tried this theory. I had all my characters in Vigil Keep at the time of the last reset, and the issue did not resolve itself. When it came for the dailies to reset, the daily timer was at 00:00 until I moved into another map, when the bug resumed with all dailies complete. Steps I took:
1) Moved all characters to Gendarran (Vigil Keep)
2) Stayed logged in to my main when the dailies rolled over
3) Moved into a megaserver map when I saw they did not resetWhat I’m going to try to do today:
1) Still have all characters in Vigil Keep
2) Be logged out/offline when the dailies roll over
3) When I log in, if the timer is at 00:00, instead of zoning to a megaserver map, zoning to another non-megaserver map. We’ll see how it goes.
Thanks for the tip and those previously suggested.
I managed to get my daily to reset by
putting all my alts on to gendarran or non megaserver zones before reset
exited gw2 and waited until a few mins after reset
started gw2 and logged into an alt
Not sure about dungeon reward reset etc, but will test later on
Hope this helps someone

It would be great (and very surprising) to be compensated for a week of not getting rewards, but knowing Anet, they will just ignore these requests, fix the bug in a couple of days and move on.
Though I understand your position as it is somehow identical with mine, it is also a fact that it may appear unfair or inadequate to give a full refund of gold, badges, laurels etc. that MAY have been claimed through the days.
On the other hand some kind of refund would be appropriate to hand out some sort of refund for those who had this problem. For example, missing out 4 or more cooldowns for ascended material means a loss of a few gold, that’s a fact.Anyway I’m looking forward to a fix, though I assume the same: we might end up with some sort of loss and that’s very bitter especially for those who were hyped about the patch release and spending their easter holidays in Guild Wars 2.
Once again ArenaNet: please consider posting a statement related to a possible refund and also keep us informed about the fix.
Totally agree. They could at least give back the rewards missing from people that did the actual event or task. But I’m sceptical they would do this for us due to Anet’s history of past bug problems and no compensation. Here’s hoping I’m wrong
No worries, glad to help and hope the problem gets fixed soon
Hi, everyone. I’m here with an update.
Unfortunately, we were not able to integrate fixes for the bug affecting the stuck Daily Achievements today.
I understand that this is inconvenient, frustrating, and disappointing, particularly because a lot of you all play over the weekend and were probably looking to get some play time in and complete your dailies after the release of the Feature Patch. We apologize that this is affecting your game play experience.
We’re going to try and fix this at our next earliest opportunity, and that’s going to be early next week.

Add me to the list. Dailies are not resetting.
Every time the daily reset rolls around, my dailies from the previous day(s) are still marked as complete. Therefore I end up with 5/5 completed dailies already, unable to get the daily reward.
Other related issues:
- Daily boss rewards do not reset
- Daily dungeon path rewards do not reset
- Daily time-gated materials do not resetAnything related to the daily reset is now broken.
Same problem with me.
For the trekkies

Agreed. The music really goes well with the event and if you like to listen to it or download the theme, you can find the music at https://soundcloud.com/arenanet/guild-wars-2-battle-on-the
There should be an option in key binds with something like “Target Highest Level Enemy” which is done by the enemy rank, health, if it’s an important event target etc.
Great team work all Epic ending
Thank you to the commanders who lead us and those who helped along the way
For the platform – if you finish your platform, couldn’t a mini tron machine appear that you can talk to that gives options to port to any of the platforms? It only appears on the platform that’s finished. Something similar to that asura lava jumping puzzle.
Just like to know your success story on co-ordinating pugs to do content that requires a bit more tactics than the normal dragon boss that you just spam stand in one spot and skill 1 auto-attack.
I try to help, inform random people politely and patiently to do an event like marionette event, yet people don’t want to help or listen, no-one wants to communicate e.g. say how many people on their lanes etc. or not say anything at all, and just results in them zerg rushing aimlessly.
I only had partial success, but that involved getting a group of guildies willing to do most of the work, but a majority of the random players we try to help do the negative above and ended up failing the event.
CoE subject alpha sort of does this – puts an aoe circle where each player stands, but people overcome this and stack and dodge together when the aoe occurs. Some dungeon bosses overcome stacking by putting a debuff on each player and damages them if they stand close to each other e.g. fractal asura
I remembered when AC was very easy and people didn’t mind grouping with different classes and there was no fuss in how you play. As soon as Anet changed AC to make it more challenging, hardly anyone grouped up for AC, even caused some new players to be put off from doing dungeons completely. It wasn’t until groups found methods to make the paths easier to complete that AC got popular again, but required certain professions in the team and tactics.
Generally, players want rewards with the least resistance and max efficiency, hence why there are champ trains in certain maps and some dungeons and paths are hardly touched and others are very popular in LFG. As soon as you introduce something new and difficult, people will likely default to profession specific teams and tactics or not do the dungeon path at all. I think Anet are still trying to figure out the best approach to make all happy, which is why existing paths haven’t been so drastically changed like AC.
Setting the LFG description and stating clearly at the beginning of the dungeon run what you don’t want to do is the only way to avoid the speedrun norm style. Hopefully, you’ll get people to join your team, but curious to know how quickly people join in these groups and the experience of doing a full run without the conventional speed run play style.
It’ll be great if you can buy items without the rng, but there are always people who like to gamble and Anet are probably seeing lots of players who don’t mind this sort of thing and will gladly pay with lots of real money or gold to get it.
My 2 guest passes have been used up on random servers and I think it was caused by instancing with a group of players on different server for fotm/dungeon. Bug from latest patch?
Yep it’s either I can’t enter an instance different from the server I’m on, or players can’t enter the instance I’m in.
Also, my characters that tried to enter the bugged instances are bugged themselves and can’t play them any more >.<
Old dig spots in world 1 are there but the amount you get has been reduced e.g. you’ll get 5 Baubles instead of 20 etc. you get a chest when you dig the location correctly and you can only obtain the chest once on your account per day i.e. cant alt farm reset instance etc.
