Hey all, I’m a pvp/pve player looking for a fun social guild, where I can make friends and have a good time. In pvp I am rank 59 and I play necro, thief, and a little guard. In pve I play mostly necro but I also play ele from time to time. I am hoping to find a guild that likes to do both and can help me improve as a player!
For more info mail me in game, on Nytsorrow.
Thanks
True but with soldier/chill combo i find myself holding off just about any other class, when I run zerker I find my self too squishy and I just get blasted down regardless of the chill.
Hey thanks for the input, and just to let you all know, I tried it out in hot join and spvp and it seemed to work out, however after a few tweaks, I found my newer version worked much better. I linked it below.

Furthermore in regards to thieves, I don’t know if the thieves sucked or what, but I felt like we where somewhat even in most fights, it was all down to timing my dodge rolls.

Hi all, so I was goofing off in pvp and decided to try out a necromancer that uses chill to control the battle field. I am posting this to get everyones’ honest opinion on it, I don’t think it works to well in tpvp but in spvp and hot joins it might work. So post your critics, thanks!

I personally think that necros don’t need more power in condition, or burn conditions, in fact maybe remove dhuumfire, and instead give us some form of increased survivability, maybe a 20% healing effect to DS, so even in DS we heal but its only 20% effective.
I have had sometime to try out the necro since the DS change and I feel like an already weak ability has become all but useless. I run a maxed out toughness build, so I very rarely use DS to begin with, however since the change this skill has become more of a hindrance. I say that because I like to pop DS only when I absolutely need it as a damage buffer between heal cool-downs, because its attack power is far from effective against most champs, and other player(pvp/wvw). Now though because of the DS overflow attribute I find myself being rolled over by just about anything that can hit a solid crit, this include large enough mobs, most champs and alot of wvw players, all it takes is one solid hit to break my DS and now that solid hit can down me too.
I understand why the Devs tried to change the DS and i think the overflow would have been a good idea if the necro had another way off getting out of trouble, or if the skills in DS correlated to the weapons we equipped, sort of like the elemental’s attribute weapon links, because the current DS skills are far from effective, in pinch.
I urge the Devs to re-consider what they have done to the Necro build and maybe add a few changes to help with the issue.
