Snowy maps = least interesting

Nobody here seems to like human areas, so I’ll just jump here and say that I really like them. I kind of feel the empathy towards other humans there and it feels like kingdom. I like defending Nebo terrace, the castles, the trade routes, farms, wineries, etc.

No Flying Mounts?

I see no real argument for bringing flying into GW here.

They really hit the bull’s eye the way the glider was handled. This is so much more fun than just flying from A to B in straight line, completely neglecting the whole content below. Big part of GW gameplay is centered around navigating the map environment and logically this rules out free flying.

(You can also tell they slightly regret introducing the flying in WoW, as they disable flying at the start of each new expansion, so content is actually enjoyed. Handing out toys in mmos needs to be done carefully and ArenaNet knows this.)

With this settled, let’s now discuss the possible underwater mounts.

HoT Finished- Unbiased Review

Hi OP,
I liked your review, however, since you said you bought HoT just after the demo weekends, I’m pretty sure you were’nt able to explore all that HoT has to offer, including the LS3, which, as mentioned above, was a big part of the expansion, with new maps being added with each new chapter. I see the “main” HoT story just as a very minor part of the game and just as an introduction into the new content.

Honestly, I think energy costs should be removed from weapon skills. I feel like I use 1 maybe 2 of my Legend skills before I have to switch. I’d like to be able to actually build up a bit, and unleash a bit more. Makes it difficult when attacking constantly drains your energy. And I shouldn’t have to sit there doing nothing at any point.

This is a very good point here.

Seeing as this is confirmed by more people, it would be great if we could get a response from ArenaNet.

I agree. The pop up does not specify though. It says “Some fields are invalid; please fix them.”

Friend of mine reported that he (and his friend as well) are not able to sign up for GW2, as they wanted to try out the PoF demo weekend. I tried this as well and same happens for me.

It says that some fields are invalid, no matter what you put in them.

Could you please have a look? I imagine this is a wider issue, but the affected people are unable to report (having no account and all).

Thank you.

This is nothing but an exploit of mechanics intended for something else.
Completing events – not abuse of existing tools – should lead to rewards.

Should be removed asap.

Looking for a diverse gameplay build

MadRabbit , how do you handle situations where you are the only one vs mobs ? I tried pure support-focused specs on other professions and I quickly got tired of it because lots of times there wasnt anyone (or too few ppl) to support.

Hi, dear elementalists.

I want to play a class for general PvE (open world mostly), that has a diverse gameplay. What I mean by that, is – Id really like to actually use all four elements, depending on the situation, and also swap weapons when needed. I dislike having to specialize in something, because specialization is really just another name for limiting yourself just to one or two elements, and one weapon or so. I thought revenant would meet those criteria, but after playing him, I no longer think so.

Does such versatile (and viable at the same time) build for elementalists exist ?

Thanks for answers.

What the title says. Right now I have only second tier of spinal backpack, but I would love to have the best one one day. How long would it take ? Are there any better ways to go for it ? Or just forget about it and wait for the next craftable backpack which would be easier to get from current drops ?

Yes I hate it too. It doesnt look like an in-world effect, but some kind of UI notice, similar to mobs AoE attacks.

Im just sad how guardian looks after every elite spec was revealed. Dragohunter looks so chaotic (and not very suited for condi guard anyway)
