As the title suggests, I’m a returning veteran looking for a PvX guild.
What I’m interested in is a true and honest PvX guild, not a list of people who sometimes do PvE together. I want a seriously minded team of players that work together, to do PvP, WvW, and PvE, preferably in that order of focus.
I’ve been a GW players since GW1 betas, and through the years I’ve met and played with several great teams and made several awesome friends. I’m looking to replicate that experience, so if your guild sounds like this, then please let me know.
Other information: I’m EST, mainly play after 7PM, and mostly Thursday-Sunday. In terms of guild size, any will do, as long as it isn’t large, anything over 200 players please omit. You can whisper or respond with a message. Thanks for reading.

Who We Are: Long time Guild Wars players stemming from GW1 beta are joined together in our guild, we enjoy all game types in GW2 and try to excel at all of them while not hampering on our community aspect. Rise runs various types of events throughout each and every week from competitive PvP and WvW to laid back nights, guild lotteries, in-house PvP tournaments, GvG training, FoTM training, and other great events.

As to your teaching question, we have developed a mentor program that our experienced officers will teach game play and other mechanics to newer players. This program is meant to last a while in order to teach our new players all the in’s and out’s of GW2.

As to your guild mission question we are about to unlock rush, so we’ll have three missions ready that we run scheduled on sat. night and then if we have enough online that need it we run it unscheduled. And we run every dungeon in the game, including speed Arah and FoTM40+ solo lupi as well

An update: We have grown to 70 members now and are still actively recruiting, have about 35 daily players and are looking to expand our great community. Rise keeps the guild roster trim as we kick and promote players every week to assure quality.

As to your FoTM Questions – we have two groups running nearly daily, most of us are in our 40s and the other team is in high 20s getting into 30. We do play all of the game, but FoTM is something we enjoy and run solid quick runs. Message me if you have any questions.

P.S. To your point of active players – we have 70 total players in our guild with about 30-40 daily players signing on. We go through our roster once a week and flag inactive players (unless requested to be inactive rank), then a week later they are kicked if they don’t respond. This keeps our guild trim and active to better foster a grand community. Message me in game if you have any questions.

During these two week rotations we will either be focusing on PvE or PvP/WvW, but neither rotations are without the other aspect so it doesn’t get repetitive. About a month into the guild’s creation and we have done great, got a good solid 15 daily active players and more are continuing to help grow our community. Our first month of guild events has gone great – where we focused on PvE then WvW/Spvp – we want to do everything as best as well can to get the most out of guild wars 2.
If you’re interested in building a strong group of friends that play the entire game well look no further than Rise. We have great players that know what to do, and enjoy doing it so lets all experience it together.
