I was looking around on the forums for the new builds people are running for highest dps/utility for PvE and PvP and I wasn’t able to find it on the post your builds thread, or the other topics in this forum.
I’m not sure if there is a separate webpage that high end necros post on but I’m not familiar if there are.

I’m also torn on which profession to main. I currently have an 80 necro and it just is disappointing. The weapon skills aren’t terribly exciting to press, you pretty much have to have a staff no matter what spec you’re running, and not to mention their dmg to me seems totally lackluster.

I think I like the idea of ranged, but it isn’t required. I’m looking for a profession that is wanted in PvE and TPvP.
I tend to like dps classes that have multiple ways of getting out of sticky/deadly situations, also I like buffing people but that’s not really required. Also if there are classes that are really wanted/required in TPvP and PvE that aren’t FOTM that would be awesome!

I’m looking for more of a solo pvp 2h build where I can just roll people alone. Another build that is great for Tpvp that’s a 2h build as well would be nice, but I want my main job to be dmg dealer.

Those are the kinds of builds I’m looking for. Any suggestions?

I’m just starting to play a Guardian and I’m trying to figure out what a good 2h sword lvling build is and the best dmg pvp build.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had no idea eles were that slippery and hard hitting.

I’m just annoyed that with my necro spaming blood is power, marks, turning Boones to condis, healing, and DS I feel that I’m still behind others dmg that require a lot less skills to just as much dmg or more. And yes I’m dodging and kiting always on the move.

Ranger and thief seem to be the 2 I’m leaning toward, but I have to consider Mesmer and ele now too!! =)

Just curious if you could link me the builds that are strong for thiefs =)

lol yea I know, but I’d like to play a class that has a chance to escape or do something than just get CC’d to death.

I’m just coming back to the game since August and my main used to be Necro, but it still seems to get rofl stomped by most melee. I understand if you’re a good player you probably can do alright, but I’m struggling to 1v1 people sometimes…

I was wondering what a fun prof is if I want to be able to 1v1 people without having to be a complete pro to beat mediocre players, and someone that doesn’t die when 4 or so people roll up on you trying to stun/knock down you from 100-0.

Also I would like the class to be highly wanted in TPvP paid and free.

Hey guys,

Sorry to post another question about builds, but I haven’t really played the game since August and I don’t know if anything has been fixed on Necro’s.

I’m just wondering if we’re actually wanted in TPvP yet, and if so, what the build is, and what our purpose is now?
Can we actually kill people or are we just a debuffer/utility profession now?

Also what build is the best for SPvP and can we solo people or do we need to be in the back of a zerg casting here and there?

Hey everyone!

I used to play necro on release, but I quit the game since they seemed pretty useless/weak compared to other classes and no one wanted to bring us along.

I was wondering if they fixed our dmg to be competitive other than just condition builds?
